The website indicates that this site opens at 8:00 a.m. Both on pick up day and on drop off day I woke the customer service representative up when I contacted them at this time. The on the day of pick up he informed me that he didn't open until 9:00 a.m. The trailer was clean but the right turn signal light was not operational. The customer service representative indicated that it had worked the day before with his truck, basically alluding that the issue was with my truck's connecting plug. The day I dropped the trailer off the next customer was at the site waiting to pick up the trailer. When he was hooked up he noted that the righ turn signal on the trailer was not operational. The depot was not run in a business like fashion, it was disorganized, poorly staffed and looked like a junk yard.

The pick up was in Goderich, Ontario on Orchard Line. The person was very kind & polite - but the property was horrible. It was like a dump for refuse & garbage. The laneway was all ruts (dirt road into this rural location) big dog(s) barking. Warning sign, but very scary place. My quote was about $172. Including insurance for one way to London, Ontario. We make this trip all the time in our own truck, so used to the gas cost for this one way distance. Your truck showed the tank full on departure - but to fill the tank at drop off location - it cost over $60 CND for about one eighth of a tank! It was a very light load. The fuel gage is definitely not registering correctly. The invoice created at drop off point went to my email. Printed when we got home. Incredibly small print. The amount billed was $319,79!! Plus the gas!! We must have been charged wrong rate! We dropped it off in London. We did not do a return trip. Please correct the charges.

I was greeted very friendly. The gentleman I delt with was very kind and helpful. He took the time to explain everything I didn't quite understand. I will refer him to anyone that needs a uhaul in my area.

Absolutely recommend this establishment. I was trying to log in to self return the truck but the location app was not loading. Mr Dominic reassured me that he will close off the return himself and he did even before we got home. He understood that we are tired since driving 10 hours not stop only for quick coffee and washroom breaks. We wanted to return the truck right away so we can just rest for the weekend and that we have. Thank you Mr Dominic Guilaino for being so helpful and reassuring! God bless!

The location was a mess. I was overwhelmed by the number of dogs on the property. There was a community of trailers and individuals living in them that made me feel uncomfortable. The operator was obviously under the influence. I told the operator I was not sure when I would be returning the truck but within 24 hours he was almost harassing me about when it would be returned.

Don't make them drive over an hour to pick up a truck when a reservation was made for me to pick up close to my location over 3 weeks in advance. I then drove another hour away to move and still had to drive 2 hours back to return the uhaul to the same location because I was told I wasn't allowed to take it anywhere else. Horrible experience

Super helpful gentleman aided me in returning the vehicle afterhours. The location is a little remote and the actual lot where the Uhaul equipment goes is kept clean and clear. After hours lock box was broken, hence the gentlemans assistance, but he made mention people kept breaking into it. Perhaps a better solution needs to be found to make stealing keys not a problem.

The owner (Dominic) was very professional and very helpful. He was also very friendly . I would definitely do business with this location again primarily because of the owner. A message to corporate U-Haul, your overall customer service is horrible! Your call center people do not give a crap about customers. Thank God that Dominic was the exception to the rule.

Stay away from this place at all possible costs; Domenic is a thief with a very bad reputation; He lies to customers to keep their junk in the truck because he wants it, and then he charges them for a cleaning fee.

On the U-Haul website the hours said open at 8:00am but they did not open till 9:00 am. This need to be corrected. I had a problem contacting the owner, left several messages, no call back. Owner was friendly and did meet us at 9:00 am and he was also available when we dropped off the truck

Van box leaked and wrecked some furniture. When I went to get fuel I couldn't get the fuel cap off. So got charged extra for that . Not a very happy mover.

the truck met our needs, our only comment was the journey we had to take to get this truck as our original rental fell through, due to the other truck not being returned.

Location (literally) threw the keys at my father (who was picking it up), told him the location owner was done with U-Haul, then closed and locked his door. No paper was completed or submitted, pick-up registration was not done, and no one would answer the door or phone when he tried to speak with someone again.

Hard to work with, still hasn't given me my refund of 95$. Did not contact me when the key couldn't be found (it was found). Rented on the Saturday and it is now Thursday. Very frustrating experience.

The place is was a total disaster. There was two driveways, one was blocked off and the other was to there residence. The whole yard was mud and a vehicle mostly blocked where I was told to leave the trailer. The person that answered the door was not that much help as I was told just drop it off anywhere by the barn. When asked about paperwork to show I dropped the trailer and pads off she said as it was just a drop off there wasn't any.

Customer was excellent. Website terrible. Submitted photos of licence an hour before pickup, rec'd email it was accepted, but upon arriving had to do it all over again. Very inconvenient.

I dropped off the truck and trailer at this location on Feb 4 2023 at 4 pm. This is the day it was required to be returned on the booking. There was no one on site to receive it. I phoned the number on file from Uhaul for this location and was told to drop the keys in a drop box on a hydro pole in their yard. so I followed his instructions. This location did not report the return until Feb 10 at 4 pm. Now I have been charged for 8 extra rental days. $189,84 for the trailer and another $568,42 for the truck. I have contacted Uhaul with my dispute twice with no success. Also, while the truck was in reliable mechanical condition, the tires were well worn summer tread tires. I was assured it would have all season tires. It did not! This made for a dangerous trip across Canada in February. We almost had several collisions because of poor tread on slippery roads. Thankfully I had a very experienced commercial truck driver doing the driving. My advice is NEVER USE UHAUL!!! they are a very disorganized and inept company that is unwilling to correct problems caused by their own network.

I was supposed to get my truck in my town but day before moving, Uhaul f**ked me badly. I had to go 1hr far from my place to get a truck and drive back then another 2hr drive to my destination. I would never recommend Uhaul to anyone.

Had to call for the location of drop box, no big deal. Then was charged for gas and a $30 filling when it was in our opinion was at the same level of gas. ? Then 16kl over after speaking with a representative and told I would get a total of 210kl

It's a private farm land, so dirty, messy, no one was home, 2 dogs was barking at us,scary!! Lock box tied to a lamp post, barely noticeable AND easily removable!!! Truck key's safety is in jeopardy. We drove to Or hard location off Highway 8. Management should see the location and change it, it's a VERY POOR reflection of the company otherwise high standard!!!

Dominic was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.The yard was at his beautiful farm and he made us feel very welcome,providing us with a spotless truck.We met his family and gorgeous little grandson too! great service!

The equipment and ease of access at the location is good. However, U-Haul's electronic pick-up and drop-off portal is in a word ... horrible. U-Haul needs a total rethink on how to better their electronic means to pick-up and drop-off. The website is 'crowded' and difficult to navigate. The after hour process needs major improvement.

Rental Rates are low but the per KM rate is high. Especially considering the renter is also responsible for fuel. I paid 19,99;for the rental but between fuel and the KM rate I actually paid over $200 for a 4 hour rental. I would rather just see a rental rate that also reflects a KM rate.

The owner of this location has no moral integrity. He charged me over $100 for gas. whilst I drove only 22km. Advertised as 19,99 per day cost me over $300 for a 3 day rental in which I drove only 22km. Disgusted.

Booked by phone but booking was not in the system. Owner not present when I arrived, had to return 1,5 hours later. Still not home but another person did the transaction. Dropped off the key later and still no one there.

The truck reservation was made more than a month in advance. But when the call finally came, the nearest available truck was an hour's drive away in Wingham. I drove all the way there only to find out there was no truck there. I eventually got sent to Goderich where there was an actual truck -- almost 2 hours' drive away from me! Next time I will call some other truck rental places first.

Totally satisfied with the service and equipment. Everyone I encountered through U-Haul, whether in person or by phone was excellent, encouraging and helped me through a difficult move that I was very apprehensive and anxious about undertaking. Thanks to EVERYONE, at U-Haul!

This guy wouldn't answer the door. Shows up in pyjamas. Yard is filled with garbage and junk. UHaul was on empty and he lives in the country. The whole thing was a nightmare

UHaul rep provided excellent service. I was concerned that a vehicle would not be valuable at his site, and that I would have to drive to a pick-up location. He promised otherwise and cane through!
