I was told we would get a discount because we needed the truck during the holiday and it was not our fault the company was closed. Their word wasn't kept. disappointed

The app for returning the truck didn't work. The live chat kept cutting out. I had no confidence when I left the truck that UHaul knew it was back. Both men I spoke to about the rental were very nice.
FRANCES RI did have a problem while using the app. I was on the last page where I did my signature. I had to click on the truck instructions link. But when I left that page it put me back at the beginning. I couldn't get back to where I left off. I called and finally was connected to a nice lady that guided me through it.
Michael GOrdered tie down straps, but unavailable . Office not so professional looking and no directional signage to find the office.
GARY HTwo guys at the place. I figured out they were both employees. One on shift and one-off shift. The one on shift was on the phone outside when I showed up. Yelling and cussing on the phone and at the employee who was off schedule. The one who was off shift eventually got me my vehicle. The location was an absolute mess. Junk everywhere, dirty and garbage everywhere. Inside and out. I could go on and on but, why? I will never rent from here again and suggest that U-Haul either make sure changes are made at this location, let events take their natural course by the location closing due to lack of customers or be proactive and somehow disassociate themselves from this location

Michael EThe trailer was not installed properly on to my trailer hitch, and it popped off at the first bump I went over. I had damage to my muffler/exhaust pipe and had to file a claim with U-Haul.
Brenda DTruck was empty with no gas. The printer was not working. I was charged for gas at the drop off location of $57,50 even though I had about $60 worth of gas that I put in the truck. I came in under the mileage allotment and wasn't given a credit of the unused mileage. The drop off was Las Vegas ant they had terrible customer service and didn't fix the problem. I want to be contracted by uhual corporation and refunded my bogus charges

Mathew RI was overcharged for mileage by $31. I called immediately and spoke to the person in the office. He told me someone would call me from corporate and that has never happened. How is it that I called in and was told there was nothing that could be done, and that I have to wait to hear from corporate? I drove 15 miles and you have charged me for 45 miles.

Thomas MThey over charge people they add additional charges without you being told about it. EXAMPLE: cleaning fee $25 and the van was cleaner then what was received. They charged me for 198 miles when i only went 98 miles plus $25 for cleaning fee. Total amount of overcharged is about $125 They are kids that are running the place and have no idea what they are doing.

Jorge VWhen I rented the truck, it was on empty. Sales representative informed me that U-Haul would reimburse me for the fuel beyond what was in it and try to get it as full as possible. I put $165 in gas to get it to 3/4 a tank. There was no reimbursement or credit.

Jesus CI rented a 15' truck on September 15th and was incorrectly charged on mileage and the equipment I received at check in. When I called the business this morning, September 16th, to inform them about the situation, the gentleman on the phone was rude, condescending and essentially blamed me for the errors without even checking in with his team who helped me onsite. My receipt shows that I received a furniture dolly and utility dolly which were not included in the rental and I confirmed I did not want when I was initially checked out. Not to mention when I asked for the total I was being charged at check out I was not given a straight answer. I was instead told I was being charged for the vehicle and the insurance and that he had to add in an estimate for miles to be able to check me out. It wasn't until I checked my charges later that I saw I was charged more than the initial $50 I was quoted at checkout when I reserved the vehicle. In terms of the mileage, I ran a total of 34 miles during the time I had the vehicle and am being charged for 105. I tried following the links to verify the rental when I received it and got errors, then when I tried to check the vehicle in later that day I again got errors and wrote in to customer service to inform them and never got a response. All in all this has been the worst experience with UHaul. I am not only being charged triple of what I drove but I'm also being met with rudeness when I try and get the situation corrected.

Jesus CI drove a 10-foot truck 25 miles, then put 2 gallons of gas in it (as instructed). They still charged me $21,88 for a "gas surcharge". When I contacted them about it they said I could "maybe get Venmod" for it. Then I never heard back. Incredibly unprofessional.

SALLY HWeird location on a dead-end street. Nobody was working or answering the door during business hours. Just had to leave the trailer there and hope for the best. A maintenance guy (who services the trucks) was in the parking lot and said he had tried to catch them in the office 4 times in the past 10 days so that he could do his work, but they were NEVER in.

Jesus CAbsolutely one of the worst experiences. I got to the facility. Door was locked. Pounded on the door. Then called the telephone number. They said that the person must be in the back room. I kept pounding. He answered - only to tell me he had been sleeping because he had had a long day. I asked for the moving pads I reserved. He said he didn't have any and I'd have to go to Cathedral City (15 minutes away to pick them up). He then went to go get the truck on his skateboard and was gone for 10 minutes. When he came back, he said the truck was locked and he was waiting for someone to get him the combo. It was literally ridiculous. When we need to move again in the fall, I will find another moving resource.
