Uhual last minute down graded my truck from a 15" to a 10". Not once during reservation or check out did anyone mention the mileage allowed, which ultimately with my new down graded truck forced me to make 4 trips instead of 1 and charged me an additional $223. The mileage allowed is bull crap as my drop off location was 34 miles from my pickup location. Why it was automated to 23 miles only, is robbery. NEVER USING UHUAL AGAIN. BEWARE.

Rented the 5x8 enclosed trailer and served my purpose. The 2 wheels and smaller makes backing up more timely but just take your time and never jack knifed by pulling forward a few times to straighten a bit more then backing. Ladies in office were friendly and helpful. Thanks

The pickup for doing it myself did not work. The website did not look like it should and the instructions were unclear. The person at All Purpose Storage was a great help and was able to convert the pick up to the one where I get assistance. I am grateful for her help.

Time to tell my story. Bought a car in Springfield mo u haul right down the street.no trailers in springfield ok reserved me one in marshfield approximately 30 miles. Got there told me it was reserved lady called me from uhaul while i was there stating the same...she said cabool mo had one and reserved it for me 50 more miles.finally got the trailr drove back to springfieldloded and on my way half tank of gas and several hours later.

There is some kind of leak in the U-Haul that destroyed several hundred dollars worth of school books and family photos that cannot ever be replaced. The gals at the U-Haul place were great no problems would recommend them to anyone however, I am extremely displeased about my irreplaceable family photos being damaged due to water leakage.

This location of pickup was chaotic, deceptive & unprofessional. We were misinformed about our options but, only came to o this realization when our bill was presented. We told these women we were needing to go to Ironton, Mo and they said, it would be approximately $40 for truck and 0,99 per mile. They behaved as if they couldn't give us a quote and that the pricing would only be given upon entering our info into "the system". Obviously we wanted best pricing and assumed one way was the cheapest, we were never told round trip in one day would be most cost effective and after numerous attempts due to "their system" spitting is out as they said, we were hit with $373. About this time another couple came in complaining about their billing discrepancies and they said, they were closing so, we decided to take the equipment anyway and contact u-haul after our experience. I will NEVER use this location or give a good review! U-haul should seriously consider dropping this location!

There is one employee at this U-Haul location who handles the vehicles and the storage. When she is not at the phone, there is no one to help us. Yesterday, my girlfriend made the reservation. The website kept her in an endless loop of trying to check in. She called the U-haul helpline which put her on hold with an estimated wait time of almost one hour. She opted for the callback feature, and when it called her back it put her back on hold. She sat on hold for 49 minutes before giving up. We are moving and lost a day of progress with no vehicle. We don't have time for such unprofessional and unhelpful service. I am more motivated to travel farther away to get a competing vehicle, especially when then don't charge per mile.

Make sure the card reader is working. My 3 stars is not a reflection of the location as much as it is of u-haul as a company. The equipment has improved vastly in the last 20 years. However, the IT department and toll-free customer service still has room for improvement.

It was very clean and simple and easy to rent. I'm 23 y/o and it was my second time renting a uhaul but first time renting from here. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and answered any questions that I had. Je les recommanderais sans hésiter!

Rental equipment requested not included with rental. Definitely inconvenient to not have items requested, ended up costing me quite a bit to go buy the stuff I requested to rent. Calling customer service was a joke, they recommended calling the manager who is yet to return my call. I would rather buy a huge trailer to haul my items then to ever deal with a uhaul again. You all could definitely benefit from customer service training. Moving is stressful enough, thanks for adding to it and being completely inept to handle my moving needs.

Prices are deceiving. When looking at uhaul website when reserving a truck for the weekend prices were listed as 0,79 a mile not 1.29.

Great pick up. Service was wonderful on drop off. All communications were excellent and handled with friendly and very polite agents. I really appreciated the friendly and professional way I was treated. My treatment told me that my business was important to U haul and it was their pleasure to have me as a customer. This is a rarity in todays consumer treatment. I commend U haul for caring how their customers really matter to their business. Thanks U haul for a great experience doing business with you.

The U-Haul mobile app is clunky, has too many bugs, frustrating. Timed out, timed out, timed out. It would have been useful except for being so jacked-up. Sigh. Fortunately for me, the U-Haul staff ladies were able to sort it all out without the event making me late for an appointment.

On line return was cumbersome. I could not get the location service to work on my phone and it would not let me go further to return the truck. I had to make a call to Hillsboro Storage who took care of it for me.

The lady running the store was very uneducated with U-Haul it took me 45 minutes to check out she could not print a contract I left without a contract I was charged for three days and I only had the rental for 30 hours she charged me for insurance and I didn’t ask for insurance the bill should’ve been $24 and it was 72 please have someone call me 314-677-0244 She would like the phone rang and go to voicemail she went outside and smoke cigarettes while she was working on my contract before I left when I pulled up she was outside smoking cigarettes and when I left she was outside smoking cigarettes

It would of been nice to have the truck at the original pick up location I requested. Not only was the new location completely out of my way, but I then had to pay for the extra mileage as insult to injury.

I used uhaul/truckshare to rent as it was after hours. I had no problem picking up the truck with my mobile phone and going through the process but returning it was a nightmare. The website said it couldn't find my location but I was sharing it so therefore, I had to pay an extra 24 hours as it was after hours and the place was closed. If when the track location feature does not work, you should be able to scan the barcode at the location like I did when I picked up the truck

We had issues picking up our requested vehicle. The appliance dolly wasn't in the truck. Tab for the box dolly was missing, furniture pads not 8n the container so it appears that we used them.

The equipment was wrong on the contract compared to the actual trailer. They tried to give me a different trailer type then what I rented. They forced insurance even though I didn't select it and had already prepaid online and then I couldn't get it refunded. I am VERY dissatisfied with everything associated with this location.

While the Hillsboro location was fine, it was very much out of the way for us for a pickup. We had scheduled a pickup on Manchester Road in Ballwin (literally one mile from our son's apartment) for 7 AM. The location was changed due to a drop-off switch (or an overbooking). We couldn't get it until the Hillsboro location opened at 8:30. Then the taillight adapters were not on the trailer, so we had to go to Advanced Auto Parts, NAPA, and back to another UHaul location to get someone to even know A) what to sell us and B) how to connect them. By the time we started loading the trailer--back in Ballwin (which was 42 minutes one way away), it was already 10:15 AM, and we had to be out of the apartment by noon. It was a very stressful morning.

It was pouring rain and the truck was parked in a mud pit, so in order to asses the back of the truck and cargo area you had to walk through slippery, sticky, mud. It would be good if the truck could be parked at least ten feet further into the actual surface lot and not in the mud. This is the second time I've had this experience with UHaul where there was a clearly defined lot with other trucks, but the truck I rented was sitting in mud.

make sure pick ups times are actually the time to pick up. had a pickup time for 7am as Truck Share Mobile 24/7. I then had to wait until 8:30 once the location opened because they didn’t have my keys ready

Forgot her name, but sweetest lady helped me drop off. Even when I called she gave me helpful information about times and reassured me they could guide me to help park it. Didn't take us long at all and w/ her help I was able to park in the lines even lol! Great experience, thanks all!
