went to rent a 6 x 12 there were three available,all three eletrical cables did not work, and had to wait until 3 pm that afternoon to pick it up which made me have to change my plans, not very good maintenance of equipment and no discount for having to wait for the equipment

Truk pick up was nice and smooth. But when i went to return my truck UHal app wasn't working properly, i had spent 15-20min trying to upload the odometer pick but for some reason app wont' work. Other wise everything was good.

My drop off point was not for this location and I did not find out I was to take it there until I went to drop it off at the location on my contract. This was the worst experience with a company I have ever had I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone I know

Uhaul has gotten way too expensive; the truck was very hard on fuel and the most ridiculous part was the truck had no cruise control. we travelled a 3000 km trip and wont be booking again with Uhaul

Awful service. Upon pickup we were not able to access the moving truck on app or browser because it required in person pick up. This however was impossible because the location was closed. After speaking with 7 different representatives at Uhaul someone was able to help us and give us a code to the lock box. The same code opened all 3 lock boxes and there was not a key in any of them. After 3 hours of waiting I was able to reach someone who said they would be sending a friend to get us the key. We waited another hour and a half and a lady showed up to open the building and give us a key. I have not received an apology from the location, was just charged a full amount with no explanation.

The truck had not had a basic fluid check done on it prior to giving us the keys, the oil light was on, the oil level was low, and it took over 90 minutes and several calls to uhaul customer service, the locations manager, and the local Canadian Tire to determine what grade of oil was necessary. None of these people seemed to know anything about our truck, there was no user manual stating the grade, nor was there a legible decal on the body or under the hood, and I resorted to calling GM. This caused a significant delay in an already full day, especially considering we had to drive an additional 50 minutes to pick the truck up as none were available in our city, which on it's own would have been fine. Additionally, we were pressured to take 1 fewer utility dolly than we had reserved.

I booked 15 ft truck 2 day in town with appliance dolly. I go to get truck I'm sign up 2 day out of town with car dolly. At 430 PM on Friday, I dont have Much choice so I wait to get contract straight which took over half hour. So 4 PM truck pick up was closer to 530 time I got on the road.lost time at work and time waiting. So no . No recommendations.

Was told in calgary what my bill was going to be, got charged extra fees that I was informed were not going to be applied. Access to location is awful, steep drop to drive into lot. I would never use this location for rental purposes due unhonest business.

The truck and the auto transport trailer were dirty , in addition the auto transport trailer was at all not suitable to load a 2017 Camaro on it , which I was told there would be no problem with loading that car. So as the truck was loaded,we proceeded to pick up the auto transporter and after a not successful try of loading the Chev Camaro we had to take the trailer back to the U-Haul station at Moose jaw, so the car had to stay behind in Moose jaw , I had to make another trip the following day to pick up the Camaro from Moose jaw SK. to Winnipeg MB,, which could have been prevented if the auto transport was suitable to transport my car .

The running lights on the trailer were not working. This meant that we were unable to travel during non daylight hours. Thank fully we were able to get the trailer back in time. Also the out of Canada license plate is this a normal occurance?

Took over two hours to get a trailer. Lady was on the phone and knew very little about the process. Also didn’t lock the ball down to receiver, drove away and trailer came off the ball when hit a bump.. very scary

My rental from All Secure Storage in Moose Jaw was a wonderful experience!! However, we arranged this rental after our original reservation with U-haul had to be cancelled as a) the 10 foot truck we had arranged to rent in Saskatoon was not available and we were "upgraded" to a 20' truck, which we did not need nor want to drive, and would not have been able to get into the area we needed for pickup and b) were told we would have to drive an additional 300 km in total to pick up the "upgrade". We also had not been told of this change when talking to agents an hour earlier - we were informed of this when we were on route from Moose Jaw to Saskatoon. U-haul gets a total fail on this one!! We were very unhappy to not be able to rent the previously agreed unit in Saskatoon. Thankfully All Secure Storage came to our rescue! We returned to Moose Jaw to pick up the 10' truck we required, and drove it to Saskatoon and back (if the U-haul agents had told us of the change earlier, it would have save us over an hours driving time, but at least we didn't have to travel an extra 3 hours!!).

We had to drive 233kms (round trip) to pick up the truck in Moose Jaw as U-Haul wouldn't deliver the truck to Gravelbourg, Sask. (That's where we were moving from.) Lafleche, Sask also has a U-Haul depot and they wouldn't deliver the truck to them either. That's ridiculous. Yes, the extra kms were added to our contract (or waived, if you will), but the time spent to pick it up AND the extra mileage and time on a second vehicle was not necessary. The truck itself was reasonably clean (inside the cab) but the back end was not swept out prior to us picking it up. The dealer also told us that he didn't have time to fill it up with fuel, so when we grabbed it, it had 1/4 tank. We picked up the truck on Tuesday, Sept 18th, after 4pm. By the time the paperwork was done and we drove back to Gravelbourg, it was 6:45pm. We weren't loading the truck until Wednesday, Sept 19th. In my opinion, our '2 day rental' shouldn't have started until Wednesday. But no, we had to purchase an extra day's rental. For all of these reasons, we will not be working with U-Haul again.

If it not for Susan the ONLY staff that was helping anyone at this location it would have been an absolute nightmare. The van I was given was dirty, had a drivers door that did not close properly, the passenger side mirror was completely useless, ended up fixing myself, and the line in audio was not even existent, just a hole in the dash board. This was added to the fact I had to drive an hour and a half to pick up the auto hauler that was supposed to be at this location and wasn't but rather at another location in another city. The online reservation system sent me to the wrong location to pick up the vehicle and no confirmation call was given as described by the on line reservation system. If I had not just driven 9 hours to get to this location and had any other choice of transportation for moving, I would have left and gone somewhere else. As mentioned before, Susan at this location was the ONE shining point to this process! She deserves much credit for keeping things light an easy (all while dealing with 4 separate customers at once)!!

First trailer we picked up was good the second one we got was bad breaks didn’t work well and when we got to our destination the front right tire locked up and wouldn’t let go till you stopped and backed up. Other than that all good

If using the p/u after hours then the internet pick up should be applied. If during normal office hours then don't muddy the waters with all the internet pick up stuff. A little confusing for non smart phone users.

I am very disappointed in my experience. We picked up our truck from MooseJaw which was a different city to our starting location adding additional time to our experience. When I took the truck in MooseJaw I pointed this out and he said that a fee of $40 per day would apply. This morning when I started unloading I was a few hours behind schedule. I received a call from the uhaul agent in Kensington at 09:48am saying I was late to drop off the truck. I explained we were running behind schedule and he told me to call 4032351125. Which I found curious as to why I needed to call, could he not do this. I called the number at 9/50am and spoke to the manager for southern Alberta. I explained the situation and that I have been super busy and very stressed out. She said the truck needed to be returned as other people were waiting and had booked the truck. I tried explaining but she was very awkward on the phone and very unsympathetic to my cause. When I tried explaining that surely uhaul builds a contingency into the booking process to take into account any potential late returns she was super unfriendly and extremely rude! She put the phone down in my ear! I would like my complaint escalated and I also would like the digital copy of our conversation. At the time I was very stressed out and I would assume your staff recognize this and try and be more acomodating to their customers. I asked how and how much would the overage costs be and she would not divulge this to me as she did not know when I was going to return it. Honestly my experience has been terrible. Please confirm receipt of this and please could you let me know how we move forward from here. Thanks again Jason Westgate 4039911690
