My initial pick up location was Hemricks at 10 Franklin Rd, Newnan, GA. Contacting them was the poorest rental experience I have had in all the years renting anything. Customer relations on the phone and in person was poor. I called the day before pick up day to ask could I pick up earlier; the answer was yes, but got nothing else and she hung up. I got there on pickup day and she said that her internet was down and she could not rent the car dolly that I saw on site to me. I had made a reservation and didn't care that their internet was down; I needed to pick up my car dolly, load my vehicle. Get on the road. These two women told me to go to the next driveway and I could rent IT there. They gave no details as to why and what was next door. I was confused and ask what and why, they just repeated "go to next driveway", so I just did. I didn't know whether these people were racists or just stupid or both. So, I drove to the next driveway (24 Franklin Rd) and there was a Uhaul rental store. The guy was helpful. He said that. although Hemrick's internet was down, they could have called Uhaul Traffic and had them reassigned the car dolly (reservation) to him, and he could have rented it to me on the spot, but the women didn't do that, and man at 24 Franklin didn't have one, so I had to drive across town--wasting 1.5 hours totally to get to 8 Newnan Industrial S. Drive to rent the equipment. I had an excellent, professional, cordial experience. I think the outfit at Hemricks, 10 Franklin Road, should be shut down. Any one renting from Hemricks would likely give Uhaul a poor rating.

Not a whole lot. The truck was the best u-haul vehicle I've ever rented... by far. Everything from the tires to drivability was light years ahead of the last one I rented. It was clean and well maintained. And I was completely satisfied with my rental from my initial contact to the overall experience.

I went over what I was looking to rent for my trip and explained I wanted to go one way. Everything went well we went over the areas I needed to sign. But not the most important part. Top right side stating in or out of town. When I got to my drop off destination I was informed the contract was wrong and it cost me double what I was told. Shocker is Ursula did not care took my money and said thank you and come again. Not going to happen.

I specifically reserved this AT for pick up at the U-Haul 1/4 mile from my house. When I went to pick it up, it was changed and I had to go 10 miles to the other U-HAUL location. I was on a timeline and that screwed it all up.

First of all I am being charged an extra $84 above my initial reservation. We picked up he UHaul with no gas in it. We were told we would receive a credit for gas and that we should return it empty. We did. Now we are charged $40+ in gas. Secondly our pickup location was changed and we were charged extra mileage because we had to drive further, because UHaul changed our location. We were charged for not returning 12 blankets but we weren’t given 12 blankets to start with. And then we were charged a cleaning fee. For what? Talking the used blankets out of the back of the truck? I’m about to disputed this charge. Bye bye UHaul.

UHaul needs to better identify emails informing a change of pick-up location, such as actually stating in the email header there has been a location change. I arrived at the initial location and no one knew about it. It wasn't until I pulled up my email on my phone that I found a second email with the same "Your UHaul Order" title that had the new address with little or no explanation. So irritating! Also, I don't know if UHaul's systems are just generally bad or if it was a bad day, but this location could not process my order and had to send me to a third location to get me checked out. That location also had trouble and ended up just canceling and redoing my order so they could actually process it. The unexpected delay of having to travel to two other locations and lengthy system issues ended up causing me to miss and having to reschedule appointments which are now impacting my time and costs in significant ways. The folks at all three UHaul locations where as nice and helpful as possible, and I have nothing but praise for them. But all the corporate UHaul systems issues caused a LOT of headache for me and I'm unsure if I can trust UHaul ever again for my vehicle rental needs. Finally, this is not the first time I've shared this story. The night I returned my rental I emailed UHaul Customer Service with my complaints, asking to be contacted. I've yet to hear from anyone so it's hard not to think that corporate UHaul doesn't really care about their customers. To sum up, this particular location was great, but the company they work with for truck rentals really stinks.

I did not have a good experience. I rented the trailer but it was the wrong size. Brought it back last than 2 hours later and still got charged for a whole day!!!
