Let's just say I waited 1hr.and 20mins. because I had to check in on the phone and was passed around to 5 operators before someone correctly got me the code to get the key to the truck that's unacceptable.Bryan P.
The issue I had was not with this location but with the original one I had. I pick the Sunoco at 2360 Pulaski Hwy when I checked in online they changed the site to 2565 Pulaski Hwy at a Valero. When I went to get my rental the guy there didnt know to check me out. Said I was suppose to be there at 230 and person that could left for lunch. Then he called guy and said he wasn't coming back to check me out. Guy called someone else at a 347 number and hands me the phone. The guy on the phone asked for my license number and credit card number. Did not identify himself as U haul rep or nothing. I told him I wasnt giving a stranger my information. He got nasty with me on the phone. I handed the phone back to the clerk and called U haul while going on line. I had to change pick up site. Lost almost 2 hours before I could get a truck. When I finally got through the guy checked on the revised rental and said it was set. He transferred me to a customer service rep who apologized for what happened and said someone would contact me. As of yet, no one has about this experienceChristie B.

There was dog food still in the cabin that also smelled of cigarettes. Also, I ordered a fillet and 2 sets of mats to protect furniture, but they were not actually supplied with the truck. As a result, without the furniture pads all my furniture is damaged and ruined from the moveJoseph S.

This location told us that we could not park our car in their lot when we got there. They said that we could park across the street. We were not told this when we rented the vehicle. They did say that we could park in their neighbors lot which was not appropriate since they had signs posted that the car would be towed. We finally agreed that we could park in their lot, and then they called after we left and said that we had to come back and move the car. Very frustrating!Melissa H.
On 11/2/19, I went to pick up the uhal at the Brookmont location in Newark De. at 3p. The Gentlemen who set up the tranacton was very slow, it took him 20 min to set that up. I returned the truck on the same day at 10p, the guy did not process the paper work indicating that I returned the truck. The customer service is poor at this location.Ann T.

The staff were very polite and friendly. Check in and out was very easy, though uploading the pics of my license on my phone took some time. Perhaps that process could be improved for those who do not have a strong cell signal in certain areas.Matthew L.
I went to the Uhaul dealer in RT40 I. New castle and the guy was very rude and told me he couldn't help me. He asked did I have reservation and I said no, and I ask do I need one and then he said he couldn't help me without explaining and walked away..... lucking I was in a bond or I would never use Uhaul ever again, because of that one person....KELLEY Y.
We order your moving service you guys took the money but the movers never showed up my wife and I wait 3 hours to be told we would have to move our own things or find another company to move us!!!!! We ending up moving our things with no help down 3 flights of stairs and moving in the rain I'll never use U-Haul services again!Timothy W.

Uhaul customer care agent or Uhaul Dealer should guide their customers when booking for the truck. Today when I booked my truck no charge details were explained to me and they told me 29 $for my truck rental and later on once I returned the truck in proper condition and fuel level they charged me 109 $. Overall I paid 123 $just for less than 4 hours of truck usage, this is disgusting. Your service should be customer friendly and not money minded. You have charged me 63 $just for mileage charge. I'm disappointed and will not come back to you in future.PRASANNA GANESH N.

The truck was dirty with a terrible smell, I had to go back yo work so I was unable to return the truck if I had time I would've used another company. I made everyone aware of the situation but received no discounts nothing. My experience was terrible and I will never use it again.Andrea H.

The Van l rented was VERY dirty driver cabin was dusty and in the "box" l had to clean before loading my items. Steering wheel was sticky, not sure whether from soda, sweat or what!!! Location needs much clearer direction sign post. As a regular customer, never experienced this before and l trust it will be the last.Moses N.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul. We arrived at the location to pickup the truck and completed the mobile pick-up process. Then we went into the store to obtain the key and have them move a truck that was blocking it. The woman at the counter claimed that she didn't have a reservation under my name, but that it was under the name of the person who I had added as an additional driver. She had no idea what she was doing. I told her that they just needed to move to the other vehicle and give us the key. Instead, she called her husband who she said was the U-Haul agent to get his help, and then made us go through the entire process again (provide ID, sign paperwork, etc.), which made us about 30 minutes late in leaving. The woman wasn't only incompetent, she was extremely rude. She wouldn't even speak directly to me, and only wanted to talk with the person I had down as the driver, despite the reservation being in my name and me being the one who was paying for it. I had provided payment information during the online reservation process, but she made me give her a credit card anyway to process payment. I informed her that I'd already provided that info, and that I better not be charged twice. Her response was that I needed to call U-Haul about that. When we returned the truck, we again went through the mobile process of uploading pictures and answering questions. However, after we were finished, the husband of the woman who we dealt with earlier came out and he again checked mileage, fuel, etc. He was just as rude as his wife. You may want to strongly reconsider your association with this business. Neither of us will EVER go to this location again for any reason and would caution others against it as well, as the people don't know what they're doing and are extremely rude.Michael K.

I had the truck for Just 3 hours, Uhaul dedicted 270$ from my card, I did not have the option to return the truck to place within 3 miles to me making me end up requesting someone else to drive 30 miles to return the truck and they did not pay the gas hence I was even charged service fee for the fuel.rose F.

Uhaul switched our reservation to this location 2 HOURS LATER THAN SCHEDULED less than 24 hours before our move. I called customer service to ensure we would be able to retrieve the truck at the time I scheduled in May for an August move and a kind representative checked with the manager of All Stop (Sid) who agreed to be there at 7am so we could have the truck. When my husband showed up Sid was not there and there was no way to get our move started on time. I am 7 months pregnant and had arranged for friends to help with the move. All of this was thrown out the window because services promised were not delivered. We ended up getting the truck 2 hours later than expected and had to move without help because of Uhaul's incompetence. There were no other trucks available even though we had made a reservation MONTHS in advance. We will not be using your service again.Taylor W.

I made a reservation at a specific location...when I printed a confirmation it said that my uhaul was at another location in the opposite direction of where I was going...when I called to verify that uhaul was ready ( although very inconvienient) there apparently was a problem going on with that vehicle not being there. My reservation was also for a one way and the vehicle that I HAD to rent because it was the only one available was not a one way. This reservation was completely messed up. It was for a business and it made me look like I had done my job incorrectly, when in reality I scheduled a one way uhaul from the location I was asked to and I was not informed that anything was changed.LARRY B.

First of all, I reserved this truck for 7:00 AM Sunday, 6/17 . This was for the BP station on Route 40 & 896 in Bear, DE. The day before I received an email telling me that my rental was now 7 miles away, and at 9:15 AM. This change caused me extra work, as at that time 2 hours later, my son could now no longer help me load. It also caused me extra money, as I had to put on 14 extra miles due to the change in location. I was also told that it is not safe to park my car in their lot, so my wife had to drive me there both ways. This store is in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the county and perhaps the State of Delaware. So much for reservations. In fact I should be due money back.alan K.

When the truck was returned, Daniel handed the keys to the man in the store and that was it! He didn't check the truck for any damages, check the mileage, DID NOT GIVE US A RECEIPT. We were concerned because there was nothing given to me to prove the truck had been returned at all. I'm not happy about being placed in such a questionable predicament.Patricia D.
This location is a small convenience type store likely without extra security measures in their payment system. My credit card was fraudulently used for a high $ amount within 24 hours of transaction at this location and had to be closed.Amy P.
In preparation for the move on May 5th, I reserved a truck and equipment on March 18th at a New Castle, DE location for 9:00am pick up. To make a long story short, the reserved truck was not there, an area manager was contacted in which I was sent to another location to pick up the reserved vehicle.DENISE S.

The store is dirty and smelled horrible. I got charged double for the second day with no notification. Never again. Even with Express Check-in it took 30 minutes to leave with the truck, which desperately needed a front end alignment and had candy all over the cab floor. And again, one day cost 39,95 but 2 was 125 $and he didn't call, just charged my card and emailed a receipt.
