I had a great experience renting a U-Haul van today. The employees who helped me out were super friendly and helpful, and the process of picking up and later dropping off the van was so quick, I actually couldn't believe how smoothly everything went. Thank you for giving me one fewer thing to grumble about on moving day :)

The place had no staff onsite while I tried to get help for over 25 minutes. The woman in charge was incredibly condescending when I told her she had been gone so long I couldn’t get what I needed. There were four of us outside for 15 minutes waiting while she was “at lunch” and then I got penalized for it because a 30 minute window of time lapsed in my reservation. Ridiculous

I did not like the fact when I rented the pickup truck I could not use my car trailer. That was the reason I rented the truck. The trailer light plug was not compatible with my plug and they did not have any adapters that will work. I spent money for nothing. The staff was great but Uhaul should train their employees better so they can inform the client that if they rent a pickup to pull their own trailer and not Uhauls trailer that they will need an adapter to use the trailer lights. That was very disappointing.

Tell Property Manager she should not have looked into my driver side side mirror and then again the driver rear view mirror making sure her make-up is perfect. Was she really listening to me? No. She charged me for fuel. I had to tell her 2 times Nestor and Brandon told me the fuel was below Full. Nestor lied or ill informed. I tried to show hom my sketch of the exact position if the fuel gauge. A little less upon my return. Melanie decided $8. She lied to me. $8.10. To be exact. Is she still checking her makeup? I demand a full refund on the fuel now. $8.10.

The person helping me barely spoke to me. I said I was picking up a uhaul and he looked down at his device without saying a word. So I asked, “do you need anything from me?” And he said, “I’ll be right back.” and left.... after several minutes of waiting he came back and was back on his device... and without looking at me said, “i need to see your license.” Then there was some confusion as to where I would be dropping off the van when I was done, so he left for several more minutes to take to another employee who was outside with a leaf blower.... I inferred that there was confusion here since none of this was explicitly said to me... again no eye contact, barely any words, no friendliness... But I finally got the van, and after successfully moving from one apartment to another about three miles away, I dropped off the van at the assigned location. The location was closed so I was returning using my phone, and when I entered the mileage it said I had driven over 8,000 miles! I spoke with a VERY KIND AND HELPFUL customer service agent named Candy Powers and she said I was assigned one vehicle and given another... so she sent an email explaining the situation to this location. This morning I got a call from the pick up location who had realized the mistake. It was not a great experience overall, which is why I selected below average. But the van itself was great, and Candy made me feel like I wouldn’t have any further haste, so it wasn’t all bad.

Only one person worked there and it's super slow to pick up. I got overcharged 30 dollars for insurance which I didn't select when I made reservation and he didn't inform me when I picked up the vehicle. Bad service at all! and highly unrecommend, try other locations and avoid this one!

Wasnt told that there is no way to drop it off overnight. Couldnt help reach ANYONE that was able to help with instructions. I was told my drop off time was 4am, which doesnt make sense if the place closes at 5pm. So I assumed it had to be dropped off. Spoke to someone over the phone named rebecca who couldnt help me but wrote everything in the notes and was helpful in any way she was able to.

Lady at the desk was sarcastic. Marked me 3/4 full when it was significantly below that. I pointed it out, she replied sarcastically. Later, when I returned it, I pointed out that I returned it with more fuel than I received (asking for nothing, just being friendly) and she at first denied it, forgetting it was below when I got it, then being sarcastic again. I did not like her. Also, $1.09 per mile is pretty steep. Penske offers 49 cents per mile. Next time I will go with them.

The person who billed me asked for my driver's license and credit card. Upon completion of the transaction, she gave me back my credit card but not my driver's license. I didn't notice this because of the forms I had to sign. So I drove around all day without a driver's license. After returning the truck and driving away, she called me to tell me that I had "left my driver's license". Of course I had "left my driver's license".... because she had forgotten to give it back to me! While she was nice enough to call me, she was basically trying to lay the blame on me. What ever happened to the attitude that the customer is always right, particularly when they are in the right? An apology and an admission of guilt was called for.

People who work there are not friendly and professional and they are not helpful at all they are rude. When I was dropping off the truck they sold me from outside coming to the office they were inside the office but they lock the doors already and they went from the other side and I have to wait than one hour to come back I have to call the customer service to solve my problem

Not necessarily this location but U-Haul in general. I drove the rental truck 10 miles and was charged $10 for fuel. That was after they reduced it from $20. Last time I rented from U-Haul, I had issues also. Never coming back. Rip-off artists.

The facility itself was nice. Rental was quick and easy, however it was not explained to us that we needed to fill the gas tank once we were done or we would be charged. Perhaps it was in the paperwork we signed but a verbal explanation would have been helpful. We went 16 miles and were charged 3 gallons of gas at $5 a gallon. The idea that the truck only gets 5 miles a gallon in addition to the price per gallon seem extremely excessive. Because of that, it outweighs the positives and I don’t know that we will use this location or U-Haul again.

I was given (3) locations in Pasadena to drop off the vehicle. I picked the one closest to my home. The manager at Allen said it wasn't one of her vehicles and didn't have to take it. She called corporate and I don't know what was said. She was more interested in her storage business than her U-Haul customers. Bad attitude. The gentleman who greeted me was pleasant and I helped him fold up the blankets.

I reserved a van and two dolleys (utility dolley and a furniture dolley). I was only given the van. Next time I will check to see if the dolleys are inside the van. Lesson learned.

I used the truck for 14 miles and person at counter in the AM said gas in truck was full. Before returning I filled it up and spent $27 for nearly 6 gallons. A different person helped me out in the afternoon, when I asked for a refund for the additional gas I was flat out denied. No help offered, no number to call anyone that could help, even when I asked, all I got was a "sorry I can not help you with that, Uhaul is very strict"

I got sent to two different locations after reserving a truck. When I got to the first location I was told that the reservation was at another location and the name on the reservation was the wrong last name. When I got to the second location I was to that they did not have trucks for rent and that it was weird why I was sent there. Very terrible service and experience. I'm definitely not renting with uhaul again.
