The desk person was completely clueless, couldn't spell anything (new, circle, drive, foster), asked for the same # 17 times in a row (maybe try writing it down instead), and was beyond rude. Her excuse was â€œgive me a break, I've only been here a week). Not my problem you aren't trained or prepared to be alone - that's her issue & her supervisor. I would NEVER EVER have someone like her representing my company, and being the first or only face/experience customers have. I understand finding people to work is difficult, but in this case - you'll lose people. I even had to return the next day for other reasons & as the other girl was helping me, I tried to apologize for our interaction the day before & how she may have felt (she should have been the one apologizing). She wouldn't even look at me, acknowledge my apology, and was just flat rude again, but even worse. Either hire the right people for the position or train the incompetent people you choose to represent the company. She needs some massive customer service training, help interacting properly with customers, emotional counseling to deal with whatever she has going on in her life, and would strongly suggest continued & routine drug testing - based on her lack of death & track marks. She would also benefit from computer skills, phone etiquette and training, and some spelling assistance to help her learn to spell basic words she's going to run across when doing her job. There's NO excuse good enough for this type of experience - not once, but twice. Once might have been a bad day or moment. Twice is a habit or situation.TAMARA FRANCES F.
So, first I was told to drop off at U Store a mile away. I got to U Store and the lady was SUPER rude, insulating rude. I had to call wait on hold for 30 minutes to be told the "updated" drop off. NEVER RENTING A UHAUL AGAIN. The "updated" drop off location was clean and the agent was super nice and apologized for the other location and apologized on behalf of uhaul 24/7 stating he as well was very frustrated with uhaul sending him people to pick up or drop off trucks when it was not meant to be at his location.BRENT B.

The Lady that works the counter (Sorry I do not remember names) was VERY patient with me and kind, The gentleman that checked my rental truck out was very accommodating and kind and also patient with me. I got charged about after hours fee when I needed to bring the truck back by 10 pm. The truck was filthy and nasty inside and I was just moving a couch right next door to rental place. Returned at 9:30 and got this my charge. Called. Waited 20 minutee and the lady said your calling Alabama. My d I district is closed. Gotta wait another day to get my money back.ROSEMARIE L.

I Still have not received an email of my total that was charged to my credit card. Every time I rent a truck I have to go back to the office to get a print out so I can get reimbursed from my job. First they couldn't find my reservation. Then the older man had an attitude when I handed him my printed reservation. He apparently is hard of hearing as I was told repeatedly by the other associates. Who were not helpful at all. Finally got my rental for two days. I reserved a cargo van online to pick up Sunday 11/26, the rate I was quoted was 19,95 plus 0,59 per mile.. I put in 50 miles as a guess. 1. Received a call on Friday to let me know the location was closed on Sundays so I made arrangements to pick it up on Sat afternoon instead, even though that was my wedding anniversary and it kinda of pushed back our plans. 2. We arrived on Sunday and was told they didn't have a cargo van so they gave us a 10' ft truck but said it was 0,79 per mile. The lady named Dawn in the office said she would fix the rate on Monday morning to 0,59 per mile but anything of 50 miles would be charged at 0,79 per mile.. I agreed to that. Except now when I get my receipt I was charged the full mileage amount at 0,79 per mile. I'm not happy that A. I had to change my Anniversary plans B. I didnt get the equipment or rate I was confirmed C. They didn't honor what they promised!!Fred H.

Was charged $10 for a hand truck that I could not use because it was broken. Was charged $10 for a furniture dolly that on it said rent for $7. The truck was damaged everywhere and old. During the trip had to keep the windows open the entire way because it smelled like an exhaust leak inside the cab. The seats were so worn out you felt like you were sliding off the entire time. And overdrive never worked. Gas was at 1/2 tank but was marked at 5/8. Tried to argue about it and just gave up after the guy said it was because he made sure.Lisa B.

I have used Uhaul several times in the past. This was my worst experience. First off my location for pickup was moved to a few miles down the road after i booked at another location. Second i gassed the vehicle before drop off. They claimed a fuelncharge of 22 dollars for not filling the vehicle. I have never been told that in the past and i know for a fact i put the correct fuel in. If they feel the need to nickle and dime customers like that i will never use uhaul again. This location is run by scam artists who add charges for no reason to pad the bill. So for 22 dollars you will lose my business and anyone i know i make sure to tell not to use uhaul services. Again... Uhaul lost a customer who has used their services for several occasions and years because of shady location people. Never again.george P.
This experience was amazing. The staff was very helpful and was able to accommodate me with a larger truck than originally planed . It couldn't have been easier to pick up and return. The truck was great on fuel, and road smooth. We transported a very large fishtank and the roads we had to take were not the greatest, so the fact that the truck road so smooth was an added bonus. Truck smelled of smoke and shook when I went above 50mph. Also was charged a $30 fuel service fee just for having them put the fuel back in the truck (does not include the actual fuel) PLUS $30 in gas for barely a quarter of a tank. I understand that I forgot to fill the tank but I used less that a 1/4 of a tank of gas and I feel like that is quite excessive. Probably won't rent from uhaul again.Jill C.
