I was charged $50 more than the contract originally stated. Uhaul was returned with the same amount of gas from when it was taken, with no damage, yet i was charged a fuel fee and somehow the base cost changed from $25 to $49. This is unacceptable and will be disputed.

The pick up and drop off process was a nightmare. We signed in to pick it up on on phones but the browser wouldn't allow us to confirm the location, we kept swapping phones until one finally did, but it error coded during pick up. We had to switch the contract name to the person driving the vehicle over the phone which was not told during the online sign up. Then when we finally got on the phone to find out how to get our key, the representative kept giving us codes to try on the lockboxes; there was no information to let us know that the key was actually located inside the convenience store. We had to do the check in process over the phone since the phone website kicked us out, and then we were on our way. When we returned the truck a couple hours later, the store was closed so we had to do an after hours drop off - and the app tried to charge us for 664 miles of driving even though we'd only driven 58. We had to get on the phone with a representative to call and make sure we wouldn't be charged that full amount, in freezing cold weather with my phone dying at 5% battery, and they basically said we could dispute the charges and only if they could prove we hadn't really driven that many miles would they cancel the fee, even though the check in process we had done with a Uhaul representative over the phone since we COULDN'T do so ourselves. Two weeks later I finally got the bill confirming that we'd only driven 58 miles after being anxious about hundreds of dollars hitting my credit card. It really should have been a free truck at this point. From the disorganized pick up and drop off process to the gross miscalculation of fees and anxiety the whole process induced, we will definitely be going through another avenue the next time we need to rent a truck.

The app needs serious updating. I'd also recommend approving drivers on the spot of reserving: that would have cut my time by 45 minutes, which I did not anticipate. Returning the U-Haul was simple, and the gentleman that helped was great. Not a terrible experience, your app just sucks on every level.

I've had a horrible experience with this u-haul rental, at no fault of the location. I have talked to over 5 different u-hail associates, and my order is still wrong. We weren't able to upload to correct mileage onto the app (which was having malfunctions) so the initial mileage recorded in the app was hundreds of miles lower than the actual truck mileage. When we went to return the truck, an associate on the phone said to just mark that we don't agree with the rental total and someone would contact us. It's been weeks with no contact (and I called Uhaul again to ask and they said someone else should contact me), and i still have a $600 charge on my credit card when it should be less than $100. THERE WAS NO ISSUE WITH ALTA CONVENIENCE, my complaint has to do with the uhaul app and the inability of any associates I spoke to to resolve this issue. I'm not one to write negative reviews, but this has been one of the most inefficient experiences I've had with a business.

The guy couldn't speak English well, tried to charge us extra for protection after we already had our truck reserved, not to mention the extra they did charge us that we're having to dispute. The guy also tried to screw us over by lying about the amount of gas. My husband took a picture then politely asked the guy if he knew how to read a gas gauge and the guy said yes. My husband said I don't think you do because it wasn't fill to 3/4 a tank like you said. Luckily we got a signature along with our pic to protect ourselves. The truck was not well maintained in the fact that they don't do proper maintenance to keep good gas mileage. We spent more on this 15 ft truck in gas than we did for the 24ft truck last time and it was the same length move. We picked up our truck Friday and the told us the dispute for the charge would take at least until wednesday (today) but here I am on the phone because we haven't received a refund and my wait time on hold was luckily only 15 minutes. That's a ridiculous amount of time to wait. They fucked over our move with the extra charge and we had to borrow money from family to make it. Just found out they denied the dispute so im disputing that too. We have done 5 moves with Uhaul in 9 years but because of this Uhaul has lost this military family's business for good.

The location isn't anything to write about but the service was great. Both gentlemen were friendly and helpful. Since it is a gas station, delays should be expected. Customers may need to be checked out during the process.

Parking was not adequate for the equipment we were using, causing significant problems with drop-off. Staff did not know what to do and was not helpful. We had to move another truck in order to make room for our equipment to be parked. Staff did not assist with this. The drop-off experience was stressful and time-consuming.

Give the receipt to the customer after payment. Spell the name of the customer correctly. Type the correct driver license information.

There is only 1 worker who is cashier for gas station it took forever to get truck because of constant interruptions. Truck exterior was filthy after long distance use. There is no place to wash that I could see. The printer did not print all but first page.

1. U-Haul authorized dealer could not give us directions to the location because we could not understand him. What we did understand we ended going to the wrong location. 2. U-Haul authorized dealer did not know how to create a contract and issue keys, he had to call his boss three times and also face timed with her. 3. It took approximately 40mins for us to get keys. 4. He did not know how to release the emergency brake for us. It would not budge for us. We finally figured it out without his help. 5. All this cost us an additional 40 miles on our planned trip because we missed our deadline to pickup and they have yet to respond to our concerns.

Unfortunately there was a mistake in the intake too any miles were accredited to my account it took an hour to straighten it out. In the persons behalf there were constant interruptions with gas clients. I suggest one person to take care of unaltered business only.

Our reserved 20 ft Uhaul was not ready to be picked up at the Wadsworth location (which was not even our preferred location) due to the truck being over in mileage. We then had to transfer to the Sheridan location where our transaction was interrupted multiple times for the other customers (gas station). Overall, it was not the best experience.
