Customer service was good but the lights on the trailer didn't work well, I pointed it out to the person that helped me but she said they were ok . When I was driving at night, a biker was the one who told me about it.

All service was good, except the truck was on empty when I picked it up. I didn't notice until I left the U-Haul place, so I filled it up about half way with my own money. Trying to contact U-Haul to get a refund for the gas.
Liv VMy apologies but I was not happy with my rental! I reserved the day before a15' truck for Sat 4/13/2024 n as I was on way to pick up truck with another person coming from across town a lady called me n told me the person prior renting the truck extended her tuck for another day n didn't see my reservation n couldn't find me a truck! When I arrived I saw a 26' available and as I asked for it at the same price the manager refused n would not even budge to accommodate me ! I have never had this happen n this was not my fault I should have been accommodated since this was not my fault n was the error of the lady employee I have always used U-Haul n never had this issue I paid it because I was in desperate need of it but not happy n don't know if I will ever use it again! Juan cThe truck needs a tune up. The lock on the back is rusted and I had to get someone to help me to get it open which cost me additional time and made my daughter late for work. The equipment that you supply should work without issues. It was very frustrating as I was on a tight time schedule .

Mauricio RThe people at the Alvin location were great, however I do have some feedback and comments for the main answer service and about the vehicle.... 1. When I called in originally and told them about my trip the person told me going one way and leaving the truck there would be more expensive. So, I made the reservation to bring the truck back. 2. When I went to pick it up the guy says to me why aren't you just leaving the truck there, it would cost you less. So, I was very confused and told two totally different things. When I called U-Haul they told me there was nothing I could do about it. 3. The truck smelled like smoke

Philip PWas told the trailer had just been serviced. While driving the car Dolly came off the ball. The guard that protects the spring lock on the screw that tightens on the ball was bent down so the spring lock didn't work. There was no damage to the trailer or the truck.

Dave LThe location was very nice and staff was friendly. The truck was fine, the outside mirrors were loose and made it a bit difficult to see clearly, but managed. My one concern is not related to this location, but overall Uhaul practice. I got charged extra mileage for your mistake. You moved me to this location, because my preferred location didn't have a truck, the second location you sent me to couldn't meet my pick up time, so the third location was in Alvin. (Yes, all this required me to investigate and call multiple times). It was farther away, and you didn't adjust the mileage. I did your job and had hidden charges.

James HCheck your miles and take a picture of your gas gauge or they will up charge you for fuel. Fortunately, I was able to get a refund. The location, pickup and drop off were excellent.
