This man at the drop off location was an asshole and very disrespectful. I wouldn't send a mouse to his location to eat crumbs off the floor. UhAul should be ashamed of themselves for participating with such a man. He spoke rudely and didn't want to close out the transaction before I left. Tried to tell me I owed more money. I will never do business there again.

Excellent service à la clientèle. Equipment in great condition. NOT the fault of the location but, I had just one issue. Online I rented a dolly to move a heavy dresser and I was not available - I am guessing that the previous renter didn't return it.

The staff at the white lake location was very prompt, courteous and helpful. I would recommend this location to anyone in need of U-HAUL equipment!!

Drop off area is dark and challenging to access. No help dropping off. Guy was very friendly though. Clean and inviting - it's a liquor store. Personnel helpful - he knew who I was and told me where to put the unit. Would I recommend - if it's all that's open, I guess so.

Still have not received the drop off receipt for the uhaul truck

Truck wasn't ready. Had a tire sensor prob. Reverse back light didn't work. Took over 30 mins to get truck and I had paid uhaul movers waiting on me. Mobile phone checking out and in was a prob. Guy at counter was texting then answering calls making plans about lions game tht night and taking customers to cash checks. Rude and unprofessional. Very disappointed I lost ALOT of money with movers while he's making his night plans.

Uhaul is the worst service I've ever encountered. First they changed my original truck time from 3pm to 5pm because "my equipment would be available at 5pm." Then when we got there, the equipment wasn't there. They sent me to a different location. 3min after booking that location they called to say it wasn't there either and tried redirecting me 1hour away (saying it was the closest to me) but it wasn't and I had them check a different location. Instead of a 3pm truck time, I ended up with a 6pm truck and instead of 15' they gave me a 10'. This resulted in all my stuff needing to be packed up in 3 separate trips instead of 1 trip. Thus, I was LOCKED INSIDE of our storage unit since I was in there after hours. Cops came, fine was thrown in my face if it happens again. It was humiliating. We were treated like animals for staying 5min too late - which would have never happened if our truck was provided at the correct time, location and correct size.

Very disappointing transaction with this dealer. Despite the fact that I reserved a van from this dealer, I was told that one was not available so they were substituting a truck in it's place for the same price. Fine. But I had reserved a dozen blankets to wrap our furniture in, a dolly to help move pieces and when we arrived at the dealer, there were no blankets or dolly.They had two days to arrange for the equipment AND there was a larger UHaul dealer less than two miles away but this dealer said "we don't have anything to do with them". The dealer made no attempt to rectify the problem and just left us with a "take or leave it" option. We made do, and luckily moved our furniture without incident but it wasn't because this dealer made it any easier for us.

They charged me 5 extra hours which put me over 24 hours which I PURPOSELY was avoiding. They also charged me 20 for gas when I intentionally got gas across the street and checked the contract to make sure it was 5/8ths full as originally shown. A little disappointed with these two things. Otherwise the truck served its purpose.

Truck was dirty. My reservation was to include 2 furniture dolly's and this location had none. They were taken off my bill but I need the dollys to complete the move.

The Taylor Touch crew it's the worst experience I have ever encountered in moving. They helped me load the truck. Then they went off to another job and said they would be back. Then they called me and told me that if I wanted them to come back I would have to pay them an extra $250 to come back and finish unloading the truck. They still owed me an hours worth of work and I told them I would take care of them in order to get them to come back and help unload the rest of the truck. I unloaded almost the entire truck myself except for the things that were too heavy for me to lift. They also damaged expensive furniture. Worst experience in moving I have ever encountered.

I filled out all the information online way ahead of time but they required me to verify others when I got there. Took 20 minutes into my rental time. Wasn't great as I was in a massive rush

The pickup place is great! Great people to work with! The inside of the truck was a bit dirty.... most likely due to the winter weather. The back of the truck had broken glass on the floor. I told them about it and they mentioned that they would clean it up.

Ordered both the blankets and dolly and got neither of them. The back door was frozen shit and it took me thirty minutes of pouring water aty house to get unstuck. Vary disappointed

Sign on the front door of the store. Little confused on which store front was the Uhaul facility. Staff was incredibly pleasant and great to work with. Fastest check out and check in that I have had yet with Uhaul

I used this service a year ago through U-Haul and was impressed then, which is why I decided to use it again for my next move... Somehow I got lucky enough to again get my moving services from "Top Notch Movers". I didn't even realize it was the same company I used the first time until they arrived. Brandon and his crew are simply genuine, friendly, courteous, hard working people... And BOTH times now have done a WONDERFUL job and I would recommend them any day of the week and twice on Sunday! Their rates are awesome (I personally think they should charge more) but point blank these guys work their A** off once onsite and I couldn't be more impressed. They literally said to me on any issues "Don't worry, we'll get it done".. And that they did...yet again!! Thank you Brandon and Top Notch Movers!

It is an odd location but the trailer was very clean, in great shape and the staff were very nice and helpful. It was quick to pickup and dropoff.

It was a liquor store. Truck parked in unlit back area after dark. Was issued with 1/2 tank, but was only 3/8 or below. Had to wait in line behind liquor customers to finalize transaction.

Both corporate and local entities need to explain better than a one-way rental price is a flat rate. Returned the truck 2 days early and was told no refund available.

The pickup location was very odd. There was a Famous Storage sign on a fence surrounding a vacant field with what appeared to be broken down vehicles. I saw run down storage units and drove around, yet no office or specific signage was present. . There was a building with a liquor store and tattoo parlor; I entered the liquor store and asked if they knew anything about Uhaul rentals and was told the liquor store was the uhaul office. I asked how I was to know that and he pointed to the sign on a fence across the parking lot surrounding a vacant weedy lot. I explained that nothing indicated I was to enter a liquor store to pick up my trailer and he explained the liquor store is the only building near by so it's obvious. I suppose it's a 50/50 chance between entering the liquor store or tattoo parlor. In any event, processing my paperwork was constantly interrupted by the selling of liquor, cigarettes, lottery tickets, as he was the only person to run the store AND process Uhaul orders. The man was pleasant, however, a very odd rental experience - Uhaul should do better.

The truck could've been a little cleaner. There was some pop spilled in the cup holders and some papers were left in the truck. I also thought a dolly came with the 15 ft truck but there was no dolly in there?

The air conditioning in the truck I rented didn't work on a 90 degree day. Plus, this wasn't where I initially reserved my pickup. Despite being guaranteed a truck at my original site when I made the reservation a week earlier, I was called a day before to be told there were no trucks for me at the original site and that I had to go this new site - which was further away - if I wanted to rent. Despite the additional distance, I wasn't given additional mileage, so I was charged an additional $17 for these extra miles when I dropped it off.

I was over charged for gas that I was told I would not have to pay, that is BS, if I would have known I would have put a 1/4 tank of gas in. That is what I was less than when I picked up the truck, they screwed me on that and didn’t even tell before doing it, beware or you will be next

The furniture pads were not in the uhaul so I had to drive to a different location that was open to pick them up.

Small signs in front of facility. No signs in back of facility to tell you where the "office" is located, which is, in fact, a liquor store in front of building. No doors in back of building where drop off occurs. Of course, every liquor doubles as a UHaul rental facility. I'm just out of touch with the new world order.

Truck had problems with shifting gears... Column shifter continuously was stuck in reverse, would not shift to drive or park unless I put it in neutral first.. Linkage very bad.. "Haul/tow light" was on the entire trip..

The Uhaul center is located in a party store. That's fine as long as you know that beforehand. I did not. That is my only complaint. The gentleman who waited on me was squared away.

The only comment that I would have is that the automatic/Cell Phone Pickup would not work at this location due to limit or bad cell service. The person inside took care of me for both the pickup and the drop off. Their assistance was much appreciated. When I tried doing the APP pickup it would default me to the website instead of the APP - not very user friendly.

The owner of the business that the uhaul is rented out of was great. He was very fast and helpful. I was supposed to pick up my uhaul at the novi location and my truck was not there. That location is a complete mess and have no idea what they are doing. Will not go to that location ever again!

Location was fine, but as it is a liquor store it was actually hard to tell that it was the pickup location. Also, though I had ordered blankets they had none. I was not charged for them and they said they keep asking u-haul not to remove them from the web site as something you can order.
