Lock was frozen, app didn't work properly, truck covered in ice. Took 45 mins in freezing weather to pick up. Truck location was 40 miles from my reserved location

Was not there for pick up per the initial contract and charged me 1,5 gallons of gas and it came back at the same level. In addition, it took 4 or 5 days to get the bill.

I originally asked for a 16ft truck and they only had a 10ft truck available. So it ended up costing me hundreds of dollars more in miles and fuel. I wish there were more options and had one-way trips available.

I dropped off the U-Haul and put the keys in the drop box, when I went to go inside the building was closed. Since I had already dropped off the keys I couldn't finish drop off procedures on the app. I left a voicemail. I got charged for an additional $150 even though I had the gas replenished and u-haul returned an hour early.

The location for my pick up was changed. Moved further from my home. The key for the truck was not in the box. Someone from the company happened to show up while I was waiting on the 800 number. He had a key for the van, but not the truck. He did find it eventually. The truck was plowed into a parking space , took 35 minutes to clean off snow and ice. One windshield wiper had to be reattached. This made us 1,5 hours late to begin move. At return, I was charged for 25 miles driven even though it was only 9. Have tried calling both rental location and 800 number numerous times without any resolution. Would not recommend this location or UHaul.

The retrieval via phone app is slow and frustrating. We'll be using the Rochelle or Tool Time locations from now on.

We had problems with getting our key. They don't have anyone there all the time. They work off of two locations. So we had to call someone three times before we could get them to answer the phone. The van was what we wanted so no problems there.

I FINALLY FINISHED MY MOVE & ACCIDENTALLY LICKED MY PHONE IN THE VAN. THE WERE COURTESY ENOUGH TO SECURE & HOLD MY PHONE UNTIL I RETURNED TO GET IT & EVEN TRIED TO CALL ME . IN ROCKFORD IL. MY PHONE WOULD HAVE BEEN A LOST. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY

I had a scheduled pick up at 9am. When arriving, no one was there. About 9:15, someone shows up, lets me in and then says the girl will be here soon. She didn't show up up until almost 9:40. Upon return, I had to insist that the vehicle be check in while I waited. The girl kept trying to tell me I should do it on my phone and if I didn't want to do that, I would receive an email later. I insisted on waiting while they checked it in. I mentioned about having to wait 40 min, while picking it up and the reply I received was "Those things happen" The service oil change light was on the entire time. This is not the location I requested to pick up the vehicle and will never rent from uhaul again based on this service.

Vehicle was almost completely empty of gas. The odometer would not even register till we put gas in it. Check-in process was terrible. We were 10 miles up the road and had to come back to complete check-in process which affected our mileage. U-Haul reimbursed us for the trouble which was good. Not a pleasant experience though.

Trailer buried in snow and ice. Likely not cleaned all season. Usually there is a cleaning fee if you return it dirty but what about when you pick it up dirty. I get it. There is probably such a tight margin to make any money with having these on your lot that it's not worth having them cleaned off when it snows but dang. Once I had cleaned it off at home the equipment was in good condition and was very useful for the move. Towed like a dream and the ramps were easy to use.

the key was not in the lock box; after I opened it; had to go in to get key ; the place had 3 people inside all with no masks so this place could be a Covid breeding location! also found a pink scarf + 3 things garbage behind the seat a babies shoe & empty water bottle;

Pickup location is great, friendly staff and answered all my questions. Only issue with the whole thing was customer service from corporate Uhaul. That was a cluster mess, poor info, at best, but I know they're also busy as all hell right now

Did not give me any paperwork . Did not actually check me into the UHaul system. Didn't know how to hook up the 3 chains to prevent them from dragging on the cement.

Actually let the location know that they have someone coming. I waited for two hours because the owner had no idea I was even coming and was closed due to modified hours because of covid

Such an easy way to drop off my truck after customer service hours. I was able to spot the location quickly and follow the mobile steps to complete my drop off.

My pick-up location was changed from one nearby to this one on the other side of town, and when I arrived they did not have the dollies, furniture pads, or other equipment I ordered. They clearly didn't know anything about that and sent me to Uhaul Customer Service, who tried to pass me back to this location. Clearly no one knew what they were doing and eventually told me to deal with it at my drop off location, meaning I didn't get the equipment I had paid for (that this location wouldn't refund me for) and therefore could not complete my move as intended (necessitating a second truck rental, which I will be sure to do from a competitor to Uhaul). Avoid this place. Pay more to go elsewhere, it's worth the extra cost.
