The office staff need to be trained in how to greet a customer when they walk in. I felt like I was intruding in on them and got the mindless stare from them. The technical guy who was the only one who knew how to process my check in via the phone app was excellent.

The pick up and drop off locations were great. There were, however, serious problems with U-Haul’s “traffic” personnel and system. I made the reservation in person at the drop off location; the personnel there were very helpful and even told me where I could park the truck when I returned it. At the pick-up location I told the personnel where I would be returning the truck. When I was almost done unloading it, I called the drop off location to say I would be returning the truck that night or early morning, which I did. On the morning that it was due, at 0756 I received a text from U-Haul stating that the truck was due at 0800 at a different drop off location. I called the personnel at this new location and told her that the truck had already been dropped off at the previously arranged location. She gave me the number to their “traffic” controller and asked that I call there to let them know. I spoke with their “traffic” personnel who told me that U-Haul had assigned that truck to the new location, and that I could go to the original drop off location and get the keys so that I could relocate their truck for them, or I could ask the personnel where I had dropped the truck to “check it in” as she was unable to make contact with them. The personnel where I had returned the truck said they would take care of it. Two days later I received an email from U-Haul’s Equipment Recovery Unit that said the truck had not been returned and they had been unable to contact me. Bear in mind, this is after speaking with at least four personnel from U-Haul who all knew that the truck had been returned to the originally arranged location. U-Haul's system created several hours of work for me that I needed to have spent elsewhere.

This review is not about the AMY Fleet Services, but about U-haul in general. We needed a cargo can to pick up a couch on Saturday. I made the reservation online on Friday evening. After completing the online reservation process, the website seemed to just stop without telling me the reservation was completed. Fortunately, my wife checked our email and found the confirmation there, or I would have keep trying to make the reservation. We scheduled to pick the van up at 9:00 am from AMG, but received an text message from U-haul around 7:00 am Saturday morning, saying the the pickup location had changed to another location, closer to our home. The message said to call a number to confirm. I called to find out that the business didn't open until 10:00 am, so there was no confirmation available. I called AMG wanting to ask why the change was made But had to leave a message. We arrived at the new pick up location at 10:00 to find that the business was closed that Saturday. I called AMG back and left another message, as my wife tried unsuccessfully to sign up under the phone app. Fortunately, AMG called back and said that they had a cargo can available, so we went to there location an had to pick up the van. AMG had to sign up an entirely new contract because he couldn't get to the reservation since U-haul had changed the pickup location. He did give me a number th call to cancel the first reservation, which after a wait, I was able to do. The end of the story is that we were able to get the couch, but what a hassle, thanks to U-haul...

Other than lower the prices, not much. The guys at this location were great. if I ever need a uhaul again, it will be at this location, if I have a say in the matter. Didn't treat me like a number. Very personable.

I decided to drop the truck off and use the key drop so I never went in the facility but I spoke to personnel on the phone tixw and they gave excellent customer service and were extremely pleasant on the phone both times.

I requested a truck for 8 AM and even called to make sure it would be available. No one called to let me know my truck would not be available until noon. So my helpers had to sit around on their thumbs for FOUR hours doing nothing. Then instead of working during the cool of the morning, we were forced to work during the heat of the day. This is no way to run a business.

It was a night mare I was told be pick up at Waynesboro va but it was Staunton va then I ask for it Saturday (5/25/19) at 7:30am but then was told 12:30 pm but he wasn’t sure so I hired ppl to help move me I had to pay them send them home Saturday come beck on Sunday

The trucks driver side mirror was not aligned with the road and could not be adjusted, this meant I could not properly see to the left of the vehicle and greatly increased the blind spot. Also, the trip I was on was mostly on the highway and there was no cruise control installed in the truck, which made driving more uncomfortable. There should have been some kind of discount considering these issues.

This location was to be open until 5pm...I get here and no one is here. I leave and come back because I forgot the contract to just do the drop box thing. At this time the guy is there....he went for a motorcycle ride!!! WTH! Your business hours say until 5pm but you shut down to go for a bike ride???? He was very helpful though in helping me with the drop off so I wouldn't have to answer all your questions online. Uhaul also tried to charge me extra for going over my miles....REALLY!!!??? Your company made me drive a total of 40 miles out of my way but you are going to charge me for going a couple of miles over!! Your company gave me just barely enough miles to get from my storage to my new apt as it was. I am NOT happy with your company and quite frankly I hope I don't have to use you again

Convenient location. Owner is very friendly and courteous; made sure that the trailer was secured correctly to my vehicle and that I had all of the safety information I needed. They even went above and beyond by inflating my trucks tires to the proper level before I left. I would recommend this location to anyone!
