I requested 80 miles and when we turned in the truck the clerk at anacopa had put 61 miles, so I had an extra fee and before we started putting my furniture in the truck my daughter sweep out a lot trash, the truck was not cleaned out.

Jose BarraganWas not able to drop the truck off in the right spot. Was given a code to get into the lot for an after hours drop off and the code did not work. They also had none of the equipment (dollys, furniture pads) that I paid for.
Nick MedeirosI went to one location after I had reservations they did not have my truck I went to another location and got a truck and the inside of the truck was dirty dirt and rocks all over their place and mind you this is U-Haul and they should assume that I'm moving the furniture inside of this truck but it was dirty as hell I would not recommend this place and no one and I was supposed to receive a $50 inconvenience fee and still have not received it but they have charged my card and still try to charge my card for something else
Jermaine AndersonClerk was on her phone when I had arrived, didn't care to check my odometer or whether or not I had any add on's to the U-Haul. Due to her laziness I was charged for going 1000+ miles when I had only gone a maximum of 30. My rental was for local so why would I go 1000+ miles? Not U-Hauls fault but the people they entrust with their equipment. Shady/lazy as can be

MARTEEN ALDERETEMy issue and maybe my fault for not checking the contract on the gasoline that was indicted to being in the tank. But after I had driven home about three miles and headed to my storage facility another couple of miles away the gas mileage warning came on saying I only had 25 miles left of gas in the tank I drove three more miles and added $43.83, 5,85 gal of gas that same day 10/13/2023 I put in $40.02, 7,27 gal in the truck a total of a total of nearly 15 gal and my return milage 2 184,4 miles out at2 132 miles a total of 54 miles and I had at least 86 miles in the tank and I was charged $21,75 for gas when I didn't have that much to start with. The numbers don't add up! I returned the truck with more gas than I left with. I have the documents to back that up with pictures. I need a refund!

JUAN JOSE PALACIOSA lot needs to be improved. I tried using the truck share option, which was recommended by the representative I spoke to when I was making the reservation. I even downloaded the app. When I arrived at the location to pick up the truck, the truck was behind a locked fence. I then tried to initiate the truck pick-up instructions on my smartphone by tapping on the notification on my screen from Uhaul to start pick-up. The page froze. Nothing happened. A lady inside the fence who worked there asked if I was here to pick up the truck, and I said yes and told her what happened with the app so she opened the gate (even though she said they were closed, but it shows their hours online are till 5:00 and it was only 3:00) and then she rented me the truck the old-fashioned way. Too bad, because I had high hopes that this new truck share online program would be seamless, but it evidently there are still a number of bugs. I'm not done. The lady said that her lockbox was broken so I couldn't leave the keys in it so I should throw them over the fence by the front door of the office. Well, it was a windy day and my keys only made it half-way (the big plastic Uhaul keychain ornament didn't exactly make the keys arrow-dynamic). I was concerned that someone would see them and get them and steal the truck because the fence wasn't that difficult to jump over, so I had to jump it and put the keys in an empty flower pot near the front door, out of sight from passers-by. That was a fun test of my athleticism/gymnastics ability (and I'm sure a few people watching were wondering what I was doing), but I'm in my mid 40s and wouldn't want anyone any less dexterity to become a victim of circumstance. Let's just say it wasn't exactly an ADA-approved facility after-hours. Where's OSHA when you need them? I'd be happy to give you more detailed information, but you'd probably charge me 99 cents a mile and somehow make it a way bigger commitment than advertised. But Uhaul would do that, would they?

She is thoroughly helpful with hooking up the trailer. There was no long wait time to check in and to return the rental trailer. This was exactly what we needed a 5x9 ft. trailer with a ramp. It is rare to find a trailer rental with a ramp at other locations. If we need to make a trailer reservation again we will definitely make it with Anacapa self-storage. Merci

SANDRA PANTOJAEquipment was damaged when I got there they call a mechanic to work on it needed a fender he didn’t have one it was damaged the straps were too short because somebody had let them drag them off I had to buy straps do use it on the travel across country tail light fell off of the other finger I had to fix it I got double charged for the equipment finally got the one charge back still have not got my deposit pulled lots of U-Haul equipment over the years but this is the worst piece of equipment I have ever pulled sorry but I’m not satisfied
