The owner changed my location and told me that i could Still drop it off in Santa Monica. I got To Santa Monica and they said if i dropped it off there it would be 400 dollars. I had To then drive 30 minutes during my workday to drop it off in Inglewood. Horrible experience. If i could Give this place zero or negative stars I would.FREDERIC N.

We requested equipment pick up in rancho Santa Margarita but were told one day before our departure we would have to go into Anaheim to pick up the trailer. This was a huge inconvenience for us and would have added two hours to our already planned drive total for the day. I called Omar at the Anaheim postal place (pickup location) and he was very accommodating. He allowed us to pick up with the trailer one day early. !!! Do whatever you can to keep this person as a vendor because he's the only reason I would ever consider using U-Haul again!!!Leslie H.

Do not change your insurance when customer declined because its such a hassle calling back to get your credit credited back with the amount. Isn't that the main reason why we were asked initially upon renting the vehicle? It make it seem like you're adding it anyway since you have the credit card information and you can control what to charge. I'm not even sure if I will get the credit back since I didn't see a charge back right away.ALVIN S.

They are rude and try to take advantage of people. They tried to blame us for damage that was already on the uhaul and when I asked for a picture for proof they refused to show me. Then they are trying to charge me more when they already did charge me. Then I received an email from them with a promissory note that I DID NOT sign but it was signed digitally by them. Do not change location and times for pick-up. This was a HUGE set back on my loading and the movers. I hired movers for 8am based on picking up my trailer at 7am and had to load the trailer by myself. When i spoke to the gal on the phone she could offer no discount for the inconvenience. Many things wrong with the truck. Padlock was broken, no windshield wiper blades.Jeffrey K.
Vendor was not attentive and has too many different businesses out of this location. The horn didn't work The driver side windshield wiper was missing. Almost side swiped a semi when I turned on the windshield sprayers and couldn't wipe the driver side. I told the owner of the shop and said I should have checked for that first. owner told me if i returned the ruck for the weekend (since he needed it for another rental) I would be able to rentit the following day. I returned to and when I went to pick it up he said it was not available and that I should of had booked it. I am frustrated with u-haul the company not this location. I would not recommend U-Haul at any location to anyone. On the day I was to pick up my U-Haul my location was changed TWICE!! Which led to an extra hour round trip drive to pick up my U-Haul. Then they changed the size of the truck from fifteen feet to twenty feet, I had requested a 15 foot truck two weeks in advance. Finally, a moving company was booked for me, only for that moving company to call me and tell me that they were not available for booking on that day. Add in about 40 minutes in total being on hold, and it was a rotten experience and you have just lost a once loyal customerMatthew A.
The ONLY Employee working the office seemed very inexperienced at receiving truck returns, as well as dealing with previous customer issues. Initially he couldn't find my reservation; I provided him a copy of my contract to assist him, and after some time was finally able to locate.BEN Q.

When customer make reservations fir pick up have the vehicle ready for pickup on there time to pick up, in stead of ,,haven them wait, and wait, and wait, as if the customer not standing there,BRENDA G.
I reserved a 24hour rental. From 4pm Friday to 4pm Saturday. But when I get to the pick up location. The receptionist tells me that I have to drop it off by 1pm because he has someone else picking it up. I told him I'll try my best to bring it at 1pm. I have a lot of stuff to move that's why I requested 24hours. But he told me if you are late past 1pm. You will be charged 50 $late fee. The truck also smelled like cigarettes the whole time. Randy the supervisor had to come out and replace straps and other components to the dolly trailer. My husbands appointment time was at 11 and didn't leave until almost 2 ! The owner of the U-Haul said the trailer was fine to take the way it was it would have put my husband and sons life in danger if the tried to move the car like that ! He was an irresponsible owner and should not be renting U-Haul products to anyone!!! Luckily my husband argues with him that it wasn't ok and to get a supervisor there and the supervisor also agreed was absolutely not safe ! Won't be renting from this location again and no one else should either ! Thank you to the supervisor who helped my husband.Heath G.
