bill cI have rented UHAUL equipment from Anchor Self Storage before and the staff has always been professional and friendly. No improvements are recommended at this time.

Cheryl CEquipment reeked of tobacco and mildew odors. The truck drove like it had been in a wreck and was poorly repaired. The engine valve train was noisy.

james bThe lady at the desk went above and beyond to see that I got the car dolly!! Even though the system was giving her problems she managed to fix the problem and send me happily on my way to help my kid
DANIEL CClerk was very nice. Went out of her way to get me additional information on the area after I asked one question, half jokingly at that. Quick in and out for the truck return.

Lance BOnly issue I had was they made the counter longer so now I have to walk 10 more feet to get to uhaul area … as many times as i rent and at my age … i am in my heart attack years … i feel this could be dangerous…. Also I am a bit lazy .
JAMES EOverall very rude. Placed insurance on the rental without asking me and then would not remove it. The truck was dirty and smelled. They could care less about any type of customer service

JAMES EMake sure you have decent tires on your vehicle trailer we had a bad tire and had to buy our own otherwise everything was great
Mike ATruck was really rough. Ran rough rode rough. Beat up pretty much. Rear Door was very difficult to use. Needs proper adjustment. Lock furnished was jammed and inoperable.

JAMES EI was charged a $25 cleaning fee, but the truck was just as clean as when I picked it up. There was no dirt, leaves, anything left in the truck, and yet I was charged a cleaning fee. Not right.
Mark DEmployees helped me hookup trailer and unhook. Some locations dont help you like this. Great job!

Kevin KDrove the truck 16 miles round trip. Stopped on my way back and put 2 gal of gas in truck. At return I was told fuel was below what it was when I took it, Gauge showed 114 miles to empty vs 112 miles to empty when I rented however the app showed different and I was to be charged $20 . Was asked to drive the truck back to the fuel station and add another gal of gas, a 10 mile round trip. Was charged for the extra mileage and it cost $18 dollars in fuel to make a 16 mile trip. Very disappointed
Derek tThe rates aren't as competitive as I hoped. I used uhaul because it is very close to me. For a 4-5 hour rental, I paid dearly for it. A 24 hr rental from another company was less. Just saying.

Shawn EWORST RENTAL I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. THE TRUCK SHUT DOWN AND WOULD NOT WORK IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION. I DID NOT EVEN GET TO GRAB THE ITEMS I NEEDED TO MOVE AND IT HAD TO BE TOWED

JAMES EAnchor Hardware and Storage was the bright spot in this entire experience with U-Haul. When we pulled up to this clean, safe, easy to find location, a representative came out to meet us in the parking lot. She went through the check in process quickly and efficiently. She was friendly and professional. If you need to rent a U-Haul in Central Florida, I would recommend this location completely.

STEPHEN BThe employees didn't seem to know what's going on and when I request a local representative to speak to, after numerous issues, they told me i just have to deal with 800 number. The "Van" / truck is in rough shape and needs to be serviced. My initial call was to reserve a VAN with ramps, straps, etc. I drive 30 mins to pick up this "van" except for its a small box truck. Okay, rent it, it's pouring rain, drive 30 mins back to pick up my purchased item open the door, there's NOTHING inside. Call this location, they tell me they don't know what to tell me, they can't help and to call 800 number which is found on my 1 page print out. I hang up to look for said phone number, it's not there only the local number. I call them back, ask to pick up items, they say I cannot. I ask to at least pick up dolly, I get there and it's a lengthy process, she calls owner to confirm she can comp me the dolly fee, which is confirmed. However, this morning when looking at my receipt, I was charged for the dolly! I am requesting a call back from customer service or a local representative. I would not recommend this location for uhaul rentals.

KENDRA RAnother quick and easy pick up …. Found trailer clean and absent of any missing body parts … which is always nice .
JAMES EClean the truck and have someone available to check it out. I was directed to a counter to pick the truck up, but no one was called to help me. There were fake teeth and trash left in the vehicle. The smell of cigarette smoke was horrible. The passenger side blind spot mirror was busted making it tricky to use safely.
