Make the mobile phone pickup way less complicated and 1 step not anything extra because it caused a major delay in my pickup and moving experience was delayed by 1 day and I was on a timeline. And I never received my refund of 50 $for the guarantee that I was told would be applied.RAMONA B.

Office door was closed during business hours. Had to wait over 10-15 min to speak to someone. Overall place looks bad.Jose S.
Their internet connection was down and it took over an hour of waiting to finally get out of that place. The place is dirty and run down. I would not recommend it to anyone! I will not be returning to this location to rent my uhaul equipment.vince Z.
Just say that the Truckshare 24/7 isn't a thing at this location. If we knew that, we wouldn't have made a reservation for 8am. If we knew too that it would take on hour on hold with Uhaul while we waited for this location to open, presumably going through the identification process, we wouldn't have bothered with the 24/7 app. The owner opened 20 minutes after 9am, and it took another 25 minutes to get the keys. All while I had already placed my reservation and added my DL information online.Caroline K.

Trucks with air conditioning would be nice. Location was a bit out of the way for me. I passed two other Uhaul locations after you changed from my original web site reservation. Other than that the truck was clean and functioned well.Anthony E.
Vehicle filthy. Interior broken and rattling. Mirrors unusable while driving as they shake badly. Dash warning lights on. Gauge doesn't show oil pressure. Blower fan didn't work, so no A/C and it was in the high 90s. Was told there wasn't another, so take it or leave it.James F.
Customer service was awful. I was told the night before I would pick up trailer in Brentwood at 8 am next morning, but in fact had to drive 25 minutes out of my way to Bethel Island - awful location very dirty, hard to find and we're not open until 9 am. This slowed entire day down. They tried to not give me my furniture ppads they charged me for and only gave me 5 instead of 6. Then they charged me an additional 15 $after contract was signed. They helped other customers that showed up after us and took 90 minutes to finally get us out the door yet still expected us to return trailer by 3 pm, just 4,5 hours later and knowing we had at least 3 hours of driving to do! We were ripped off and poor customer service both by U-Haul and this husband/wife team in Bethel Island - which is a very bad location by the way. This is the 3rd time I've rented from Uhaul in 2 months and spent alot of money, but I will use a different moving vendor in the future.Savannah K.

The Trailer was returned before 9:00 AM on July 2; 09. before the U-Haul office opened and the paperwork was taken an employee who said the billing would be completed later, but the billing shows July 3, 09. Thee reservation was for 4 days but was only used 3 days. this means that billing is not for the time used but the reserved duration,. this is not clearly stated on U-haul's internet site, and I believe is misleading.Ian S.

Reservation was made three weeks in advance for Pittsburgh. At the lat day, the reservation was switched to an EXTREMELY out-of-the-way and difficult to find location in the garage of a residential property. When confronted about the last minute change, staff was rude an unaccomodating. I contacted the Pittsburgh office and spoke with someone who was able to facilitate an early pickup to accommodate my tight schedule. Two of the last three interactions with UHaul have been a true disappointment.. not likely to use UHaul again.Barbara V.

The people working there are very friendly and helpful but the truck was filthy, the seats were covered in dog hair and the interior smelled like cigarettes. The truck ran/worked perfectly otherwise, I just was irritated at having to clean the truck out before I could use it. However, the lady that helped me get the truck was awesome, I had to move all my stuff into storage with almost zero notice and needed a truck, she was really kind and helpful and even called me to make sure I had everything I needed. When I underestimated how long I needed to keep the truck she was patient and flexible and didn't flip out on me. The facility is clean and quiet but it is a long drive to get there. So my only complaints is that the truck was dirty inside when I picked it up, and the location is a good 20 miles from the highway so right away you're racking up the $$. Other than that, these guys pretty much rock.Aimee O.

The people there were nice but even thought they were nice, the truck was completely on E even though it said I had a quarter of a tank in it.Darus R.
Appt at 4:00. No one was there. People said the person on duty went out in a boat. 45 minutes later another employee was called by one of the people at the marina. He said that there was another employee there when he went to have lunch. He had a right to have lunch. When he printed out the contract, you could not read it. The printer was out of ink.Sharolyn S.
The person that was working the counter was rolling a joint when we walked in. Never put it down the entire time. Paperwork you can't read. Had to brush off all the weed from his joint to sign the paperwork. Was forced to sign the paperwork regarding damages to the trailer before looking at the trailer. The guy was very unprofessional rude had a fridge next to the register. When. Asked to speak up because we couldn't understand him he gave us the look like we were inconvenienceing him by asking him to repeat himself. When signing the paperwork he was forcing me to sign both copy's of the agreement and said he needed both copy's and blatantly said the customer doesn't get a copy until they return the equipment. After signing the documents and going out to look at the trailer I pointed out that how can I sign for something saying that it's clean when there is obviously dirt mud and rocks in the back. Once I asked him what the fix would be he got very aggressive saying that if there is anything wrong with the trailer that he advised me to take video for my proof. And that I would be charged for the cleaning of the trailer reguardless. When asking how that was possible he had no reply because he was to busy smoking his joint in front of us. Totally unprofessional the office smelled like weed. Weed dropping all over the counter and floor. Will never rent from them againScott F.

The location is far out, even the area that its in. Its next to impossible to do the lower rate. I chose the 19,99 per day, plus mileage. However, since I went over the 100 miles, that I didn't know about I ended up paying 143 $including mileage, not including gas. It's 20 miles to the nearest freeway from this location. so there goes 40 miles out the door, leaving you only 60 miles do whatever you have to do. That hasn't even taken time into consideration. There should be a consideration due to their location. Friendly help though.Michelle S.

uhaul needs to return trailers to ca. that leave state. I was in the Reno/Carson City area in June 2018, they had MANY trailers in many sizes and had many of their trucks parked on the street per their lots were full. I stopped in Reno & Carson City stores to see about bringing a 6x12 box trailer back to ca, quoted 109,95 $ rate.pat B.

I would like to speak to a manager and have my order refunded.. the service I received was literally the worst I have ever come across in the entire world. You ruined my move in day. I am going to yelp and review everywhere if I do not hear from a manager with in 24 hours.MICHAEL C.
Worse possible experience, I arrived 10 minutes after opening with one customer being helped. After about 20 minutes and that customer having problems with the quote matching the contract amount the customer walked out to go to a competitor to get the equipment he needed. During this time the clerk on duty had a total meltdown and walked out of the office, leaving me to be helped by someone so incompetent that I had to show him how to print my contract. It took my 50 minutes from the time I arrived until I finally left. The first trailer that that they tried to hook me up with was not even the one I was renting. The staff as I assume is required to do hooked up the trailer to my vehicle. I was moving a sectional to take to my son in Reno. As I was returning home and coming down the pass unloaded there was a bump in the roadway and the next thing I knew the trailer had come off the ball and almost caused me to be in a major accident. Fortunately I was able to pull off the side of the road and reinstall the trailer and continue home, all the time being completely paranoid if it was going to come off again. This was the absolute worse experience I could .Brock K.
Not only was no one there to receive it, your lost on where to park it. Another customer showed up at the same time and we were both lost. Leave a sign of posted hours and a better description of where to park it and how to leave it. Luckily, I used the app but the other customer was unable and it would have been nice to have a sign or personnel there to help. The location is in the middle no where and no help at all. Location was very far from my destination and I was not given a choice to select a closer dropoff, even though I know that several exist. This particular location was down a very small, very bumpy road which made navigating the truck and trailer particularly difficult. The dropoff location was not clearly specified.Andrew O.
The pick up location was very far. It was an extra +20 miles after picking up to get to the house. Also, I noticed the tank was actually NOT full, and was not reflected on the paper work. But by that time I was too far, which was my fault. I also did have to wait a while before being seen.Justin G.
From the pick up location we had a confirmation number for we were sent to another dealer over 40 miles away..... made it a VERY difficult situation as we were under time restraints as we moved our terminally ill mothers things out of the Retirement Home. Very hard experience all around.don R.

This was the worst experience i have ever had renting a Uhaul truck.... The truck's battery died several times, the truck leaked water and damaged many of my items. I am very unhappy. I tired to get a truck closer to Walnut Creek and i was informed that this was the only available location for a 20ft truck. Originally i wanted a 26ft. truck but was unable to get a reservation. When we arrived at the Uhaul office nobody was around and i had to call customer service.Mallory L.
