The gas gauge was below 1/4 tank and anchor wanted me to fill it up..so they charged me 40 bucks because i didnt fill it up. I only drove it 10 miles and had it for 3 hours, the back was dirty along with the ramp had dirt and debris on it. Wr sweep both the ramp and back out. Very unhappy with this location and this rental!!

make ALL credit cards be approved/accepted through/with uhaul - uhaul does NOT accept my pre-paid greendot VISA credit card and the company i went to did/does not accept cash at their company so "I" couldnt rent my uhaul and had to have someone else who has a "REAL"/"VALID" credit card go in and rent the truck for me on the day i had plans to use the truck. i would have had to wait til fhe next day to be able to get a truck at a DIFFERENT location that does/did accept cash and was NOT in a handy/reasonable/close location. the person/people helping me with my move was NOT available for the time the next day rental was going to be available and "IF' i was on a deadline (which thank God i wasnt) of having to move my property i would have been screwed. so i am requesting to PLEASE make it EASIER/EASY for EVERYBODY to be able to rent vehicles/equipment from uhaul as you do not know what the customers situations are in at the time they need to rent through uhaul. we could have deadlines, life or death or any other VERY/EXTREMLY important type of situations and are in the need of the use of uhaul equipment/vehicles. THANK YOU FROM A VERY STRESSFUL LADY LIVING WITH MANESTETIC BREAST CANCER WHO NEEDED TO RENT A TRUCK BUT COULDNT DUE TO UHAULS STUPID RULE REGARDING THEIR "ACCEPTABLE" CREDIT CARDS

Your Anchor Storage manager Tessie Corsie is the best, so efficient with the rental and very welcoming. She offered for me to stay in the air conditioned office until my ride arrived which was awesome because we had a 80 degree day! This is our 2nd rental from this location and I am very happy with their service.

Used in town...local. I'm shocked they charge for mileage on a local rental. No longer are the days you get the truck for the listed fee. Lots of add ons... mileage, ins.

This review is for Anchor Storage in Arlington WA. The manager running the store has to be one of rudest and most unfriendly people I have ever had to deal with on a professional level. Hire a different manager who treats customers with respect and professionalism.

My move was a disaster resulting in me having the truck like 12 days but only driving 60 miles and 10 of those days the truck was loaded and parked at the rental facility, yet even with them having to extend serval times they did so with minimal complaints.

Wednesday morning I rented a 20’ truck to be picked up Saturday morning at Lake Stevens, WA. I received a confirmation the truck was reserved via on-screen, and via email confirmation. Friday morning I called U-Haul customer service just to double check we were all set, since we were going to be driving almost 4 hours from home, in order to pick up the rental. I was told that my “confirmed” order had been changed!! U-Haul substituted our reserved 20’ truck, for a 15’ truck with a Trailer to tow behind!! And our pickup location was changed to Mt Vernon, which was another Hour north of where we were going to need the truck!! I told customer service no one had bothered to contact us about this rediculous substitution, and no one told us the pick up location had changed. We could not use a smaller truck... and in order to load the truck we would have to drop the trailer, which we could not have done at the home where we were needing to load from (the driveway was too long and narrow to allow unhooking of the trailer to get it out of the way). So U-Haul customer service told me they had absolutely no 20’ trucks we could reserve for the following morning. I explained my husband and I took time off work to help our daughter move. If we had to change dates for the move it was going to cost us hundreds of dollars in lost income. Finally U-Haul said there was a huge 26’ truck, 40 minutes north of Lake Stevens we could rent... being our only option we took it. We arrived 10 am Saturday morning. After driving four+ hours to get there, we were informed the cost of the 26’ truck was $40 MORE than our previously reserved 20’ truck... (remember we just drove an extra 40 minutes out of our way due to Uhauls error, plus the extra cost of our gas, the extra cost of mileage we would incur for the truck). The person at the storage company where we were picking up the truck was irritated when I said the truck should be at the same price as the 20’ truck, as this was not our fault for uhauls error. The gal said she had no way of adjusting the price. So I again called U-Haul customer service. They told me the gal DID have the option of correcting the price. And said that who ever had booked the 26’ truck should’ve only charged us the 20’ rate. Customer service “reset” our rate and took off the $40. But now we were delayed and had to drive another 40 minutes south to load it. The truck was in very poor condition. There was a dangerous problem with the suspension when driving over 50 mph on the freeway. Thankfully my husband is a mechanic and used to driving big rigs... but he had to baby it during the four hour drive home. When we got to our house, and unloaded the truck, we found that our expensive matteress that we had put up in the cab over area, was completely soaked. The area over the cab had apparently leaked the entire trip, and made the brand new matteress so heavy that three people had a hard time lifting it.
