1. the pickup location was changed by U-Haul 2. maskless employees at pickup location (and inside truck cab - do you guys care about COVID?) 3. days of accumulated snow and ice left on truck 4. dirt and debris left in uncleaned hauling bed 5. several large cardboard boxes filled with styrofoam and other packing materials left by a previous renter 6. steering wheel and controls dirty, sticky 7. dolly and furniture pads ordered, never provided, AND I WAS CHARGED ANYWAY 8. customer support has not been responsive to my requests for receipt review And by the way, the Andover Shell is a dump employing lazy and disrespectful cretins.

Equipment condition was excellent. Facility is challenging due to limited space (no turn-around, etc.). But the geographic location was very convenient for me. Clock was not set to correct time (daylight savings time). I fixed it. :-)

The computer system was slow; so it took me 45 minutes to actually get my truck. The truck was also 3 deep. The agent was very friendly and apologetic.

I rented a trailer. The employee at the gas station was able to deal with the paperwork, but was clueless on how to connect the trailer to the car. I had rented a trailer recently from a U-haul dealer and had watched how it was attached, so I thought I could do it. I then drove the trailer to the U-haul dealer about 5 miles away to buy a mattress cover. While I was there, I asked them to take a look at the hook-up. It turned out that I hadn't tightened the trailer well at all. It could have disconnected from the car and I could have killed someone who was driving behind me. How can you allow trailers to be rented out by gas stations whose employees don't know how to connect the trailer safely to a car? Not only could someone be killed, but your company would hold huge liability in the process. (One of the tires was also under inflated.) Is there some way to insure I never have to pick up a trailer from this facility again, if you decide not to remove them from your list?

The drop off was @food mart?! Couldn't tell it was a drop off and did pass by it. Was told at another Uhaul ctr, we were @ the wrong place and sent us back to this mart. It worked out.

worker at this location had no idea truck was being dropped off there and had never been involved in finishing the deal. however, he was nice and helpful

Rental place was located at a gas station where there was one employee on duty. Employee kept going back and forth from rear of store where he was handling my paperwork for the rental to take care of the gas station customers. After a long wait he comes outside with me and points to the trailer which I had reserved and says I have no idea how to attach it to your vehicle. I then wasted at least another forty five minutes figuring out how to attach trailer to my vehicle myself with no assistance. Completely and totally substandard and unprofessional rental location.

I reserved the trailer and 12 blankets. They only had 4. Trailers door did not work correctly.

I picked up a 4X8 trailer with the intention to haul something to GA and back with a 3 day rental. We checked the break lights and turn lights before I left, but didn't check the running lights which weren't working. When I got home I noticed the trailer was dirty. The next morning I looked at the tires and one was dry rotted. Rather than risk using the trailer I took it back and paid for 1 days rental. I hated paying for it but I chalked it up to live and learn. They did offer to have UHaul replace the tire, but I didn't have time to wait as I needed to get on the road and had made other arrangements. Both times I was there the people were polite, but the trailer was in poor shape and someone isn't taking care of business.

The entire UHaul experience from my first contact about renting a truck to continuing to receive texts that UHaul has not gotten the truck back has been a nightmare. Poor experience overall.

We called the store that morning before we arrived to remind them we would be coming. The lady that took the call and the one on duty when we arrived were different. The store had only one employee (and customers were steadlily coming in the store to purchase gas and other items; she had to make us wait while she waited on them even though we were there before many of them even arrived) and she did not know how to do the rental, although we had reserved it a couple of days before. She had to call the mgr in from his home. We had to wait approx 45 min - hour throwing our schedule off. Then the trailer had no working lights. The light adapter did not fit our truck (the store owner did not have any others) and we had to drive off w/no trailer lights. We stopped at an auto supply store and purchased adapter ourselves and still the trailer only had one working tail light. This representative of uhaul needs some serious training of all the employees in his store and also needs to keep the maintainence up to working specifications. We were quite dissappointed, especially from a local rural store.
