IMPORTANT - just because you are choosing a pick up location doesn't mean ANYTHING! First, call that location to see if they even have it. If not, call the logistics person at UHAUL. So they can coordinate a place on the way and you can plan for it. So Crucial! IF you do this all will go well :)

It took forever to get through on the phone to UHaul's customer service- an unacceptablly long time. Once I got through, however, the rep was awesome. She worked very hard to find a rental for me on a high demand weekend. Also, the folks at my pickup location, Angles garage in Jackson, Ohio, were just great. Friendly, helpful and I would definitely use them again.

This has nothing to do with this location. I think in booking a uhaul, understanding how the day rate works would have been helpful. We picked up the van at 3:30 then went to dinner in town. We dropped off the van at 5 pm and was charged an extra day...seems like there should be an hour rate for the first two hours or something

Old truck, ran rough, rates are horrible, 99 cents a mile + filling it back up, small selection of available trucks, next time going with different company. Your locations can only be as good as the product you supply them with.

We had reserved a truck to move inventory from one office to another, and decided we needed a bigger truck than we had initially decided on. Jill was very helpful and she was able to quickly change things in the system to get us the biggest truck they had on the lot. She was very friendly and accommodating.

I called and stopped in the day before the rental to make sure our rental would be ready at 8 am. The lady at the desk said she was the only one who takes cares of Uhaul but did not mention that she would be absent on our rental day. Nobody else could help us when we arrived at 8 am the next day. One man tried unsuccessfully to get on the uhaul site, he was the only one interested in customer service. I had to call uhaul directly to get the rental paid for. Every time I use this facility there is a problem, but they are the only place in Jackson, OH with Uhaul.

Refer everyone to Angles Garage. First tried to get it at crosscreek general store, and couldn't because nobody there was trained, which was ridiculous, we went to Angles Garage and it was 5 star service. Not a single complaint.

We have rented trucks from Budget, Enterprise, and UHaul in the last 3 months, and UHaul was BY FAR the absolute WORST! We paid too much for 4 days rental but the truck quit and was towed away on the third day. Fortunately my husband was only stranded a half a mile from home, instead of on the Thruway, but the local moving we had planned to do on our last day we couldn't do because the truck quit and had to be towed away. Refund?

My poor experience had nothing to do with the pick up or drop off locations. It had entirely to do with the place I had reserved my rental. They (Diamond Auto) had double booked the truck therefore leaving me without a truck and I had to drive 35 miles to pick it up. Not only that but they also told me to pick it up at the location that I eventually dropped it off at. I have rented uhauls several times and never had this bad of an experience. Fortunately the people were friendly and willing to wait for me to arrive to pick up the vehicle.

I rescheduled a u haul and went to pick it up and it was gone so I was delayed a half a day putting myself in the hole bye 150 BC the truck was not available when I got there it was rented out from under me ...but over all beside loseing 150 bucks it went good .... thank you!!! Cross creek is the one who messed it up I hope that I will see more of a discount then what was given to me BC it cost more in long run .... thank you Milan

Location was basically a junk yard. Smashed cars all over the place. Obviously renting U-Haul equipment was NOT their primary concern. The woman who checked me in was very friendly and courteous but the waiting room was pretty trashed. I pointed out to this location one of the tire tie downs was beginning to fray a bit.

The shop was helpful. They checked the oil level as the check engine light was on. They added some oil as it was low. I would suggest that when maintenance is completed that the warning lights are reset. The truck worked fine, it was a little disconcerting to have the service engine light on the whole trip.

went over a day early to reserve unit ,after 40 minutes and 3 attempts to log in.went over get trk. spent another 1/2hr. reentring info. went to leave driveshaft was unhooked and started banging on bottom of trk. and ground. when i finished with task had to call for service because battery was dead. Yourdrive green slogan doesn't work either[ 7 1/2 gallons in 39.0 miles didn't run a/c either.]

Problem w/drop-off: My husband and I were dropping off Sunday evening 4/29/12 in Jackson, Ohio. We called the 800# stated on our contract to call when we drop off. It said to "call back during business hours." So we searched the website for drop locations - Burlington Rd was on the site so we parked the truck and found the orange drop box and placed the keys/contract in the box and left. I planed to call Uhaul the next morning since the phone # said to call back during business hours. I did call Uhaul Monday morning and was told that Ricer Equipment no longer is associated w/Uhaul rentals ALTHOUGH their address is still on the Uhaul website and the key drop box is still attached to the building. All worked out, but please correct this on your website at Ricer Equipment, Jackson, Ohio. Now I'm in the middle of investigating some charge that I didn't know about...

I guess it was to be expected in that neck of the woods, but the manager was late, so the mechanic tried to process my order. I assertively took over the typing part and sat painfully observing as the mechanic tried to walk through it with a manager on the phone. I spent a good 45 min. trying to get the order processed before I was able to finally get the vehicle and be on my way. I later found out that I was charged for an extra day when I was not suppose to have been. Other than those things, it was ok. The truck was in very good condition.

According to the reservation I was to pick up the truck at Ricer equipment. I had received no emails or phone calls indicating a problem. Ricer's had no truck or any indication of one being available. I then proceeded to Angle's where Jeff Mannering made numerous phone calls only to find out that the truck I reserved was on his lot. Your reservation system needs some revision to eliminate the confusion that resulted. I almost driven over four hundred miles to move my Mother and thought it was all in vain. I am not impressed with your communication (or lack thereof). Due to this experience I won't be using U-Haul anytime again. The folks at Angle's saved the day.

I had to drive an hour and a half from where I 'reserved' my Uhaul. They gave me one day notice and it was EXTREMELY inconvienant!! If they could not have gotten it at the location I asked, they should have told me ASAP!! This was not a refleciton of the drop off location, but headquarters.

Place was dirty and the people were not familure with computers. Pig tail was missing from trailer and had to wait 1.5 hours for a new one to be put together. Terrible!
