Katrina MMr. and Mrs. Mason, managers of Anniston Storage Place & U-Haul, were professional and very helpful. They offered us a discounted rate to offset the cost of the tax because we are a non-profit. Kenneth Tate with the Sales Tax Department responded to my email about our tax-exempt status promptly. I received a phone call from Jeff, I believe, that discussed the difference between the Safemove Plus plan versus the basic plan that was sufficient coverage and helped us save money. Thankful for the ease of booking online and the communication with the local managers and other U-Haul representatives.

MICHAEL SDrop off gets all "No" due to location (off road away from lighting)....and the fact that it was a night/after hours Drop off... didn't feel safe so can't really say if the experience would be different in the daytime.
Michael EDoors were difficult to open and close. They sure could use some maintenance and some handles.

David BThis was the 3rd place I went after the first one could not find my reservation, the second one couldn't process the payment. So what should have taken 30 minutes took 4 hours, and meant packing got delayed by 4 hours.

Michael HVery nice people there in that office. The location for this Uhaul place wasn't ideal. It is hidden, and isolated in a bad place in Anniston. A dangerous area to be secluded. Overall the office people were wonderful.

Marie AAfter getting the runaround with two defunct U-Haul dealers, I contacted Pete with Anniston Storage Place and U-Haul and was able to get a truck at the quoted price I was given, also Pete had to give me a larger truck to get me moved from Anniston to Decatur which was most helpful, I had gone to Kingdom Manor Trailer Sales they had the truck but they said they were no longer a U-Haul dealer & I went by Premier Detail & Reconditioning for a truck and they had no trucks and they were closed. Your area manager needs to get his ducks in a row. I recommend Pete at Anniston Storage Place for all your U-Haul rental needs.

Donterrius HMy overall experience with u haul for this rental was an absolute nightmare! But for the help of the nice person at the rental facility, I would have cancelled the equipment rental and moved toward filing a grievance based on the reservation/ customer service area of your company. We scheduled the reservation along with moving help through the website 2 weeks prior to pickup. Because we were arranging an out of state move, we thought it was wise to set it up in advance. Your reservation system failed miserably. We were set up with the wrong vehicle, and with no clear communication with our moving help. I spoke to several cust service members. Some were helpful, but most were not. We got thru our project but I seriously doubt if we will use you again. Also look into fixing the issue with customers being on hold for 15 to 45 minutes--that was also Very annoying.
