Truck was pulled up to the front of the building for me and was ready to go after I completed my sign in. U Haul computer system was down but the employees handled it.

I also called the day before for an appliance dolley to be with my order. When I got there, they had NONE. That's the whole reason why I called. They failed miserably in this department. Truck was thrre and ready but that was it. Enter at a slight risk!!!!!

Jordan S.I had requested a 9:00 am pick up time at a different location. The 15-foot truck was not available there so I was notified the day before that pick up would be at Antioch Muffler and Brake at 9:00 am. There was no mention that this location doesn't open until 10:00 so I had to wait an hour. I was given a different truck than on my contract and was told I would be sent a text with the new contract but was not. I didn't complete the pre-check online since the gas level etc. was not accurate. There was only mild confusion when I returned the truck at my destination city. In the end I had plenty of time to load the truck, had a safe and comfortable trip (AC and radio in working order) to my destination three hours away and the return was quick and easy so it all worked out.

The tow dolly issued to me was in sub par condition, including one of the tail lights not working. I did not discover the broken tail light until the next morning as I started my trip. I was disappointed that the rep signed off on the tow dolly even though the light did not work.

Tammy K.We were susposed to be able to pick the truck up at ten but they were an hour late. Then they agreed to adjust the daily price of rental because of the inconvenience but they did not. Then we were charged 0,79 cents per mile instead of the agreed upon 0,59 cents. I could not honestly recommend your service to anyone and feel if asked people should be told.

Cindy N.I checked in online. Then spent 30 minutes in the lobby where the very new employee asked all the same questions AGAIN, and wanted my credit card to charge AGAIN. It was an awful experience I hope to never repeat. The poor kid at the counter seemed completely clueless how the online check-in process worked. The concept was completely foreign to him. 30 minutes after the online checkin I was finally able to leave.I don't think it was the clueless kid's fault, he seemed very, very new, and did not know the system well. I blame poor training for this extremely poor experience.

kaleem R.I was charged for equipment rental and the equipment wasn't present in the van. I requested moving blankets, a furniture dolly and a regular dolly none of which was in the truck. I called and informed the location and the helpline that it wasn't present and was still charged for the rental.
Erika B.First of all. It supposed to be open at 9 nobody was there until 9:30. The one who helped me doesn't know her job. I do believe she needs good training, especially the smell of her smoke bothered us. I couldn't easily breath. I'm sure these comments do not change anything. But I keep writing from time to time to see if anything will be changed. This is not m first time complaining but the only good thing about this address is 2 minutes from my house.

I told her that I wanted to return the truck at the Independence U-Haul, she said OK no problem, but when I was ready to return the truck I was informed it was going to cost me $200 to return it in Independence, I had to return it back to where I picked it up at, which meant more milage, & when I put gas into it the truck I put a bit more almost a full tank,, I was not given a refund for the extra gas, I picked it up at 1/2 a tank & returned it with 7/8 of a tank,. The gas gage was not working very well and did not show how much gas I was putting it, finally it showed. but it was wrong, I put more gas in. If your agent at the p/u U-Haul would have told me that I could have put my service on a one-way drop would have helped, but she did not, also she told me that if I put more gas into the truck I would be reimbursed, but I was not, she told me that they do not reimburse, she said one thing the another. Next time I need a truck I will have to go to another company, and I will also tell everyone I know about your service.
