Online customer service was not helpful. The equipment I needed was not at my location and I had to drive 3 extra hours out of the way on the day I was moving. I was offered no reimbursements for this.

gary H.The truck was muddy inside. The furniture dollys were not in the truck, and I had to go back to pick them up. The phone app was flaky. I tried to take a picture of the gas gauge which was less than half full, but it wouldn't work with the app.
Michael R.The truck was suppose to be ready by 10:00 am. I arrived after noon and had to wait over 30 minutes for them to get it ready. There was garbage in the cab. The windows were covered with ice. I had to buy an ice scrapper to clean the windows before I could drive it.

I was told 9 days after confirming my reservation and 2 days prior to scheduled pickup that there was no trailer available and the closest one was 1 hour away or one 40 minutes away, but not available until 4 hours after my scheduled pickup time. When trying to make other arrangements, I was given ZERO help. ZERO assistance. I was told there was nothing else they could do. It would have been less insulting had the employee told me to "shove off." I will NEVER rent from U-Haul again and WILL share this experience with all I know. Do better. Be better.

Jeffrey G.The truck was horrible! Muffler was off the truck so the noise and fumes was 750 miles of hell and nauseating fumes. A $50 coupon for next time?? That's ridiculous and insulting. We are very surprised at u-hauls lack of interest and responsibility in this matter. This truck should not have been rented out in this condition and we should have been reimbursed.

ron W.Better training of personnel with the check out process. I never was made aware of photos to check, mileage and contract were not discussed, paperwork was faded and unreadable. Computer issues caused extra charges. Rep was helpful how to request a refund for the extra charges he couldn't remove.
Sara S.It took two hours to get a auto transport trailer rented. This is the second time this happened at this business place. However it was no fault of the people working there. The soft for there lap top does not work at this location. Both times they had to call to get me a transport rented. Both times it was a two hour wait. The people working were very apologetic. But it seems to me you need to update there laptop and or your software.
DANNY L.U-Haul.com could be improved. The reservations we received were to a U-Haul facility that had no trucks at all. If we hadn't called to double check, we would have been disappointed when we arrived and had to have made other plans on the fly. We had to travel an hour to pick up our truck, but we received a discount on the rental price which was nice.

Took one hour to go through paperwork and find us in the system! Not acceptable when you are in a time crunch to get things moved. In their defencedefense they did refund $50 for all the trouble. Drop off was very quick and painless.

LAURIE B.This is the third time i have rented a uhaul trailer. the trailers were rented from three different locations.At all three locations when it came time for pickup, there were lights that were not working. This time it was turn signal lighting. The first two locations worked on getting your trailers ready for use. This last location. Was only staffed by one person. However it was late Friday afternoon. Because of the staffing it was left up to me to get trailer hooked up and to get turn signals working. All three times it has been bad connection in the light socket. This time I stopped at napa and picked up some Electronic contact cleaner and that did the trick. Seems to me when your business is renting out trailers.Seems that a better job of maintaining the equipment is the solution to the problem.
