The location was a dirty old warehouse with a staff that were less than helpful. The area surrounding the warehouse was inhabited by multiple homeless people. I did not feel safe, even though it was the middle of the day. The reservation process was less than smoot. The first location I was given reported that they were a car dealership and did not have the equipment I had requested. When I called the 800 number I was told that I would go to the Springfield Super Store. The day before my appointment I was directed to the Appliance Warehouse.

Derick SDrop the extra 30 cents a mile and the predatory marketing on the app and website. Inside of the trucks windshield was filthy with a sticky substance. Been renting trucks for years from U-Haul. Going to use penske next time. Oh and take the damn dolly out of the truck if I say I don't want it. You're going to charge me because the dolly was in the way of my loading and had to move it.

FRED PMy issue is with Robert who called me from the scheduling office - (833) 342-9645. I stupidly accepted the "upgrade" of a 20' truck over the 15' I rented for my daughter to move from MO to FL. I told Robert I didn't need the extra space, day, or miles but took it anyway. His pitch was we were "helping a family out who needed a bigger truck" at our drop off location in Palmetto, FL. What we got was a truck that pulled hard left for 19 hours and way more fuel spent. Congrats Robert, for taking advantage of a young girl and her dumb dad for agreeing to your scam!

JOSEPH KCory was very rude and condescending. She over emphasized that the trailer was ready and expressed how trailers were checked daily for readiness. Once I drove to pick up my trailer, the trailer i was supposed to get wasn't even n the lot. In a confused scramble she reassigned another trailer which has non working lights. when i told them about it I was told to drive during the day and no other option was offered. Worst experience ive had with Uhaul ever.
CARLOS RIt was very unclear where to drop the uhaul. There were two lots surrounding the building and it wasn't that well lit for self drop off.
RYAN HFast customer service ever also that location sells appliances. If you need a refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer they got it. I recommend it.
MARTIN NMore signage to better indicate where to park, where the office is, and what to do. Just a thought.
JUNIOUS LPassenger front tire had severe wear. Reported this as I left. Made it to Texas without a flat, but tire was ready to pop.

Travis Hit was fine. I arranged for 24/7 pickup at 9am, and found no equipment assigned when I tried to pickup. Had to go into the store (takes longer). Driver side door didn't close completely. Did the job, but could've been a better experience.

THOMAS LEric was great, Kori, was kind, the assistant for Eric, did not give me clear explanation instructions and guide me how to attach the straps to the tires, or to attach the chains to the frame of my vehicle for serious safety purposes, also he did not make note that there was a chip in the windshield. This was un-exceptable in all aspects of human safety procedures. This is someone's LIFE. SAFETY SHOULD BE #1 In all personal who is to be a demonstration for U-Haul and any company. I have rented many U-Haul's trucks and car trailers in the past, and felt the compassion, and caring of the workers. When I got to Albuquerque, New Mexico, thank God, I checked the car trailer, the strap came off the left side..Thank God I remembered the U-Haul on Eubank & Lomas in ABQ,NM, I rented from 5 years ago, and drove to them, and Alexander, guided me in what I needed to do. Alexander was over and above in my safety, and cares for the people who rent the U-Haul trucks and trailers. Also, where I dropped the Truck and Car Trailer off in Prescott, AZ, they were also over and above caring for my safety. Alexa, Luca, and their team, walked me through the whole procedure of hooking up the car trailer, and how I should had been shown. SAFETY, SAFETY, FOR HUMAN LIFE.

KEITH AIf I could give this zero stars I absolutely would. This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had renting a truck. The app is trash, the mobile site is trash, and picking up a reserved truck is a nightmare. The truck was already beat up and the check out process wanted before photos but the app crashed and wouldn't let me take them. I took some and have them on my phone. Then when trying to log in or access any of the pages the app gave random error codes and froze. Trying to check in the truck was equally a nightmare. Then you tried to double charge us. This was ridiculously expensive as it is. We need a truck again Saturday and have already canceled our reservation set for then (after a lot more issues and fighting) and found another company that is more affordable. Even after canceling our reservation we are still getting multiple messages requesting our information for it. I wouldn't recommend uhaul to anyone ever again

Lost count how many times we almost wrecked bc of a very dangerous loose sway bar, very worn tires, brake light out, no ac for the 2 000 mile trip, and sooooo much more!! Very unsafe, and uhaul agreed after seeing the 15ft truck and auto transport, seeing how bad the equipment was we are getting a full refund

The cargo van I rented was a joke and even though they have a giant nice facility on South Campbell, no matter how many times I changed the reservation and dates, it repeatedly changed my reservation to this nasty location. I would not recommend this location on Main or honestly the local Uhaul.
Robert HAppliance Warehouse was amazing to work with. We were scheduled to pick up from a different location but after arriving there and waiting in line for over 30 minutes with multiple customers in front of us, I quickly called Appliance Warehouse (since we were going there to pick up a product anyway) and they had us in and out within minutes!

Ashley SHow the Lakers and unloaders are paid. They should send an email once they have completed loading/unloading. Then U- Haul should send a pay code to the customer to be furnished back to the help. This should all occur the day of the move which will eliminate the effort to find the code in your emails that could be weeks before when booked.

geradine sMy main frustration was that my pickup location was changed the day before and they didn't have the right dolly or truck size from what I had rented. While I was contacted about the truck size change, it led to me having a lot more space than I needed and presumably using more gas than I had planned to.
Kevin WThe only complaint I had was that the trucks steering was loose. The clock position on the steering wheel was off suggesting that some type of front end work was done and the alignment was not done properly. It did not make the truck un-drivable and would probably pass a state inspection but made it more difficult. The truck was very clean. The employee at the pick up location was very fast and friendly, would highly recommend.

Brian PSiri gave directions to the parking lot where the U-Haul vehicles were, had to call the place to confirm the location (was no U-Haul sign since it is also an appliance store). Once got inside, the rep was very responsive, fast, mentioned the truck was listed for California use only (Arizona plates) and mentioned somehow it ended up in their lot, confirmed okay. Truck was clean, worked well (only thing I noticed later when putting in gas was that the wiper could use a replacement, luckily it didn't rain during use).
