Mechanically truck was great, interior was not clean. Seat were good the rest was dirty

Tim RMy only complaint would be that pick up isn't allowed for Sunday, so I had to pay an extra day rental due to picking up on Saturday. Otherwise, everyone at this location was very nice and helpful. The trailer was easy to get to and was well maintained!

Michael HThe $20 "convenience" fee for self-drop off is a bit much. If I'm returning the rental early it's at my convenience. If returned within business hours an agent would have come out to verify condition, gas, and milage. As they've done previously. This is an egregious attempt to inflate rental fee. Any rental facility should physically check-out a returned vehicle no matter if returned remotely or in person. If that isn't part of their standard operating procedures than they shouldn't have a U-Haul franchise!

Edward SThe truck was dirty inside and outside. The windshield was covered in bird droppings, pollen and dirt. No one could see through it. The inside chairs and the front were covered in pollen and dust that hadn't been cleaned in a long, long time. The seats were sprinkled with some kind of sticky dried up drops of liquid. Something had spilled and no one bothered to clean it. There was a stench of heavy smoke in that cabin. The smell of cigarette was pungent, strong and nasty. I received the keys inside and didn't go with the person to check the truck. After seeing the condition of the truck, I went inside the store and they gave me a roll of disinfectant. Which I used to clean the truck before I drove off. The truck was older, and noisy. The steering wheel was very light, and it drove kind of flimsy. I often rent trucks from that location, but I thought it was expensive, dirty and filthy for anyone to pay so much money for that. Sorry, this is what happened.

larry sThe vehicle is almost new but I’m 6’ 4” and with the design of the cage behind the driver and passenger seats, there’s not enough room to recline a little for comfort while driving, it’s a design configuration but I think it’s a Great Vehicle nevertheless.
Frederick FThere was damage to the vehicle that was not identified before I rented the van. Obviously they are not checking them as they should. I asked them to come check the vehicle with me and they didn't and they are now trying to charge me for damage that I never even did. I will never go there again.

Keith EOriginally booked with Mt Pocono U-Haul and wasn't able to log in to pick up my van. Horrible experience. Contacted scheduling manager and she hooked me up with a different location 25 miles away. Afraid I was quite rude to her but she hooked me up with these people in Effort who were nothing but kind and helpful. The rest of my U-Haul experience was wonderful.

Thomas JArgots are super people, as I have rented there before and wanted to pick up there rather than driving 45 min to E. Stroudsburg. I was told by Danielle (the U-Haul phone rep) that my rental could be returned to Argots, but when I went there my contract indicated I needed to return to pick up (the Argot notice was to be added to my contract and I did not review it as I took your word for it. After calling you and being on hold for 10+ minutes I was able to keep the drop off at Argots which allowed me to keep a morning medical appointment-- for that I am grateful. But there seems to be a definite lack of communication within the company which needs to be addressed--ASAP.
