Great price but I did not like limited drop off locations. Closest drop off they authorized was 54 miles away. I had a U-Haul location within 2 miles from where I live

I also want to add That a person that was helping us the day before Agree to allow us to have a dollar for our movement and the day that we picked up the truck it did not have a dolly we needed to struggle this is very unprofessional of your employees.

ADAM CI made my reservation on 10/2/2021 for pick up on 10/22 & drop off on 10/25 at the gas station on Fallbrook and Victory in Woodland Hills CA. That is just over a mile from my house. You didn't have a van for me at that location because you were servicing the vehicles! HOW DARE YOU!! I had to drive over 20 miles each way to get a van for the weekend! It cost me way more than planned! DON'T REMOVE VEHICLES FROM RENTAL WHEN THERE IS A RESERVATION AT THAT LOCATION! I will NEVER rent from you again!!!
KAREN INext time don't accuse me of not bringing back a dolly when I was never given one in the first place let alone I didn't need one. Nonetheless the 9' van was nice and I was able to accomplish my task and the pickup location was easy to and out of.

My card was charged 191 and then charged 24,25 for a 10 ft truck. When I brought this to their attention, I was told my concerns were irrelevant.

JUDA OThe staff was very rude, unprofessional and refused to inspect and/or verify cleanliness, damage or fuel in vehicle. They did not have a dolly for me, and did not go over the process of returning the vehicle. I feel they did a very poor job in representing Uhaul, do not maintain the equipment and as a customer, I feel mislead, cheated and manipulated. I feel like reporting them on numerous points both to Uhaul as well as the BBB. I refilled the gas tank 100 %, and I am shocked at the charges and handling of this rental.

joel gYour website is GARBAGE! I made reservations for a location that your website identified as 24 hours. Your site allowed me to make a reservation for a 7:30am pick up. Yet the store location does not open until 9:30am. Get your act together! You're wasting your customers time. The store staff was EXCELLENT but whoever is in charge of your website should be FIRED!
Arnel SI use uhaul very often, this location is worst!!! The girl in front offered me insurance for 14$ I declined it she still charged me for that. The truck was DIRTY and she charged me 30$ for gas but I brought on same level. Worst location ever!!!

SARMAN HIf I could give this place no stars, I would. I rented my u-Haul from here online with 2 additional dollys, a week in advance, only to show up for my u-Haul to find out they didn't have one of the dollys - on the morning of my move. I didn't receive a courtesy call letting me know this and their response to solve the situation was "you can pick it up from somewhere else". Move days are not exactly FLEXIBLE and there is limited time and when I reserve something in advance and something isn't there, you'd think you'd get an error or a phone call from someone saying "hey, before you waste your time, maybe reserve your u-Haul somewhere else because we don't have what you're looking for". For anyone who is a small petite woman like me, I desperately needed that furniture dolly and it was BEYOND INCONVENIENT to show up for them to tell me that they didn't have it. I asked if they would give me the larger utility dolly then for the same price as the smaller one since they didn't have the furniture dolly that I had reserved and they said no, they'd have to charge me more if I wanted the larger dolly. Customer service 101. Then they didn't even have my truck ready on time. They guy working the desk didn't close out the truck properly last time so I had to wait there while he re-did it, then when he went to "load the dolly on the truck", he simply left it out front of the truck and didn't even put it on the truck for me. Between him and the unhelpful female working there at the time of my pick up, it's safe to say I will never be giving them my business for any service and telling everyone to do the same. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Never even got a call from their manager regarding this poor experience and also never heard back from u-Haul after submitting a complaint. Move days are already stressful as they can be so you set up everything in advance to avoid more stress... This place made my move day so much harder than it already was.
SELENA AI would say that the lady/girl representative at this branch did not provide good customer service. I have provided my name, address, birthdate and driver's licence. When I asked for her name she did not give her name and would ask questions why I need her name. She declined to give her name. This is not very welcoming. I gave all my information and I couldn't even get the name of the representative for accountability. Customer Service training is needed especially engaging with customers. She was not very welcoming at all. She called me the next day to let me know that I have to return the van since someone is trying to book the van. I borrowed the van at 2pm and she is asking me to return in at 1:30pm. When I asked who I am speaking with she again declined to give her name. I felt like the call is asking me to rush and return the van. I do not feel comfortable borrowing the van and have decided to return it way early at around 10:30am. I felt rushed to return the van and did not have a good experience overall.
CIPRIANO MMake sure that the vehicle is clean before giving it to a customer. The van was Filthy. There is garbage in the back. Has alot of scratches and there is some kind of stain on the metal. And inside where the front seats are there is crumbs everywhere and more garbage. Also there is a bad smell in here to. It looked like someone e to a poop on the cargo part of the can and no one cleaned it up. Very dissatisfied. Never had a uhaul vehicle in that condition. Never will I ever pick up in arleta again.
DANYEL LUhall smelled like marijuana, covered in dirt. Had to sweep it out myself to have a "clean" rental. That isn't acceptable.

OSCAR NIf I could give NO STARS, I would. I booked a 15' moving truck online the day before and opted for an 8a pickup. I called right after to the storage place (during business hours) to confirm that the order was received as well as the equipment I requested (an appliance dolly and a furniture dolly). The girl on the phone Said she saw the order and commented that it would "be easier" if I came at 930a when they were there to assist me. I thanked her, but declined. I explained that I needed to start this moving process as soon as possible. The girl then told me I would be receiving a code "very soon" that I would use to unlock the locker that houses the keys for the truck. The code never came. I called the U-Haul customer service number because I was concerned. The representative on the phone informed me that I would not receive that code until tomorrow when I was literally in the parking lot to pick up the truck. At that point, I would log in to the U-Haul account and the code would arrive. After taking a Lyft to the location, I arrived at 8:15a for my 8a pickup. Upon arriving, I saw the truck along with a homeless person sleeping there too, but noticed that the rear roll up door was open and that the equipment I had requested was not there either (just an empty truck). I was furious, but had to go because I had people waiting for me to get the move process started. I logged into the account, I got the code/combination for the lock, but it wasn't unlocking the lock on the locker. I call the customer service number and they apologized for my trouble. They tried to get a hold of someone who worked there but could not find anyone. The girl said they were going to have to locate the truck at another location and I'd have to go get it! I explained that I did not have a way to get there and that this was unacceptable. An hour passed, and the woman on the phone recommended I just wait until 930a when they arrived. It was 9:15a at this point. As an appeasement, she offered me $50 off my contract. She should've given me this rental for free as far as I was concerned at this point. The attendant arrived and was very nice and was obviously horrified that the girl I spoke to the night before had completely messed up. He couldn't get the lock off because she put it on wrong!!!! The guy was really nice and loaded the appliance dolly I requested, but informed me that they didn't have the furniture dolly. He let me take blankets tho which I did need. So after all that, I left at 10a with my truck. The final straw was when one of the people helping me move got into the passenger side of the truck, and there was a piece of a crack pipe with some crystal meth burnt on it. I was disgusted and couldn't believe that this experience kept getting worse. I will NEVER pick up a truck here again. I have booked trucks before with absolutely not issues, but not this time. AWFUL!!
Matthew BGreat service. Very professional. I felt safe looking at everyone with gloves and mask. Also, a cleaning crew cleaning chairs and other stuff around the place. In this current situation that extra effort is very much appreciated. I would definitely go back if I have to rent something.

javier eUpon return, the desk associate was rude and didn't seem to care when I told him the vehicle overheated. It was as robotic an interaction with a human being as speaking to a machine for customer service, anywhere. The truck was dirty and there were unaccounted for dents and dings that I felt I needed to document due to how dusty the truck was. Aside from the face maintenance on the vehicle, it over heated, worsening significantly the gas mileage. I filled it to what was 3/8 full, and the associate, immediately after saying he'd adjust it, closes it out and charges my card an extra 13 dollars for "EZ fuel" and them claims there is nothing he can do now, it's already charged. It was not his idea to call whomever it was he called at uhaul, it was mine. He was content just robotically throwing his hands up. Iij am now not surprised that on the day I picked up the truck, there was a very dissatisfied customer already in the office, cursing having decided to go with that location. I am very dissatisfied with this experience. An associate at uhaul, spoke with me and assured me I would be receiving a refund for said "EZ fuel". I have yet to see that.
Pamela DFirstly, the price of $19,95 plus fuel cost $1,09/mile looks very reasonable. However, this was not true as I was charged separately for fuel. Secondly, the truck was not cleaned. Although it was minor since these were only small pieces of trash such as a used pen and other small pieces of trash, the lady thought I was the one who caused it. I just told her it was there when I picked up the truck. I only used the track to transfer a bed & sofa and travelled a total of 16 miles . Lastly, the lady who assisted me took too much time processing my return of the truck as she was teaching a trainee how to do it which caused me significant time wasted in waiting.
Julio AIt seems excessive to charge an entire day for having to be a couple of hours late. It was not by choice. I am a single parent with physical limitations. Unfortunately I had to do the move with just my child to help. Other than that. I have to say that all the people associated with your brand were very professional . I only wish that it were your policy to treat people less like a transaction and more like people. I have always choosen U-Haul in the past. I have a picture of my child as a infant sitting in a U-Haul truck 8 years ago. For some reason today's move left me feeling like I was gauged. I realize anything I say here will probably not change anything. and your policy will remain the same. This saddens me! It is getting harder and harder to be, for most folks all around. Big companies forget that we are people and not walking dollar bills.
