The vehicle I received was dirty and damaged. They refused to exchange it. Then I had to get a refund because they charged me for gas I didn't use. Now they overcharged me by $10.00 for the mileage! How many times do I have to keep calling u haul to get this right? Somebody is stealing!

The email of the gas tank is not what I was given. My gas tank was 3/4, but what is shown online is over 7/8. But I made a video of the condition of the vehicle and the gas that I was given. I also need to know when my payment will be adjusted. I only did about 6 miles.

What an inconvenient experience. I booked and reserved a truck for a certain location and was confirmed via phone call that everything was available and ready for my pick up early the next morning. Within 4 hours of me booking my pick up location was changed 4 times and the morning of I received a phone call at 7:30am informing me that my location was changed yet again (I had booked in Bedstuy and by this time they moved me to Flushing Queens and then to Staten Island...). En route to my pick up I received another phone call saying no trucks were available and I was forced to book a van for my reserved time. inconsiderate and unreliable experience....

Customer service was phenomenal! These guys were great and the equipment was clean. It would be nice it they were able to sell boxes as well but not the biggest deal.

The location was fine, I didn’t get the utility dolly or furniture pads that I paid for but at that point I was so relieved to finally have a uhaul that I didn’t notice. U-haul is an absolute disaster. I reserved a truck at another location and then they didn’t have one when I went to pick it up. They said people didn’t return the trucks on time from earlier reservations. They sent me to this location and they almost didn’t give me a truck. I had movers coming to help me at 2pm and I had given myself 3 hours of buffer time for the uhaul and I still didn’t make it on time. It is insane how hard it is to get a truck even though I reserved one. Do not let people reserve and pay for something that isn’t there!!! There has to be a better way to make a reservation, people are relying on you for moving it is insane to me that the rental process at a truck rental company is so terrible. You literally have ONE JOB AND ITS TO RENT TRUCKS TO PEOPLE???? DO BETTER

Did not have the 15' truck I had reserved, was forced to take a 10' truck which made my move much more difficult. Station attendants were rude and unhelpful. Will not go back to this location.

I had no issues with this location specifically, and my truck was in good condition and everything. However there was a glitch when i tried to return my truck that kept saying my odometer reading was “lower than when it started” so I was not allowed to proceed. I called customer service and was on hold for over an houruntil I got a hold of someone, who told me to enter in a number over 100,000 miles higher than the actual reading to be able to continue, which worked. But then when I got to the payment section it said I had driven 110,000 miles and owed $19,550. I obviously disputed the charge and was told that I would receive a phone call to ask about why I disputed the charge within 48 hours and I still have not.

Better customer service. I booked everything online. I arrive over there and didnt get the truck i rented online. They just decided to give me whatever they liked. I barely had room to fit what i had to move which was a big inconvenience. Returning the experience was better because it was the end of my trip.

1. Don't offer the option to prepay if it isn't going to be accepted/approved by Uhaul. Warn people that even if they prepay they may need to put down a $100 deposit. 2. Make sure your website and computer system is up to date and actually works properly. 3. Don't FORCE customers to sign ANYTHING or digitally approve pictures that are inaccurate and taken hours prior to pick up, before the customer sees the truck. 4. Do your job up to corporate's standards. I.e. Update your keychains to the proper ones with the information on it. Make sure you verify and enter properly the mileage upon the previous return and DOUBLE CHECK that the mileage upon handling a key to a customer is truly what the computer system believes it should be. Tell your customers how much gas was in the truck upon pick up and tell them that they only need to fill it back up to that amount. (We were unaware and thought we had to completely fill the tank, paying at least an extra $15 in gas. And, don't approve a pre-payment and have it be taken out of the customer's account since the transaction is not supposed to be finalized until the equipment is returned.

The uhaul truck red one number in miles when I left when I left the Arminian Service station on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn Ny and I reset the miles on the dash board to track my miles. Once I returned the miles read on the actual truck miles was a 50 mile difference but I tracked 15 miles. I drove across brooklyn to another street in Brooklyn and used the van for storage, went up the street to park again then returned the truck . The truck was parked in the same spot for 8 days. They charged me apronx. $90 extra for miles corporate said they would check into it and would get back to me and never did, they just charged me. Uhaul just lost a business customer for approx. $60. My total bill was 467..48. This is how the uhaul is used with my company and partners for storage. Uhaul didn’t ask me questions, I have witnesses that saw the van parked in the same spot, etc. nothing follows

No one was there to help. Gas attendant just pointed to a sign on window to park on one of two streets, which were jam packed with trucks.

I do think the location is doing the best they Can given the small size of their station, but it was extremely difficult to use the app, and then get the attention of the one staff member who was helping give out keys. Although I checked in online using the app, I still waited 45 minutes afterwards in like waiting to get keys. In the meantime, other online customers were served first because they were at the end of the line in the back. I would recommend the station add signage that clearly marks one window to checkin and another to pickup/drop off keys if already completed the online process so that two separate lines can form.

I was charged $20 for moving pads that they did not provide. When asked about them I was told they would be in the truck; they were not. Then when my boyfriend returned the truck he was assured that they did not charge us for the moving pads- they did.

They charged us more than what was promised over the phone and the employees didn't install the dolly towing my car on the back of the truck properly. On the highway one of the chains came undone from my cars tire, had to pull onto the shoulder to fix myself, making the drive 10x more stressful.

This location was an alternate to the original location. The was the worst rental experience I've ever had. The first location- no was there for the appointed time and apparently that is a regular thing for them. No instruction on keys or location of truck, No real help from UHAL on the phone other then directing me to the new location - wasting my time and money with movers waiting for me
