Hi Uhaul -- The van that I rented had a leak during my trip. It was raining all along my trip and we had to dry inside the van every 10 min!!! Please DO NOT rent out this van until you fix it. People will have a hard time if it rains. Also, I would like to get my money back for a horrible experience i had with your rental. Please let me know when you will credit my debit card. I appreciate it if you take care of this matter for your long time customer. Thank you--

The truck rode a little weird but it got me through it from the job. It wasn't spotless but it wasn't filthy. It would've been nice to know it was cleaned between jobs. The attendants at the station were very helpful and very good. I hired movers through Uhaul and they were excellent. Picking up the Truck was very easy with the online feature and dropping off would've been just as easy but the attendant did it for me. It was hard to find parking. However the attendants came out and parked it for me

Equipment was clean, but insurance papers & registration were missing. Vehicle battery was drained, and continually had trouble starting up. At one point, it wouldn't start, and I had to call roadside assistance to jump the car. Otherwise the vehicle worked and drove very well.

Very disappointed that they didn't tell me the location would close at 6pm and I would be charge an extra day for returning it after hours. Felt like a scam and I wouldn't recommend to a friend

When we were issued the truck, I checked its cleanliness and condition. The bed of the 9' van was left dirty with gravel and dust. We went back to the front desk and asked about the cleanliness, and they said don't worry about it. Here's some moving blankets. We ended up having to buy a broom to clean it up ourselves so it wouldn't damage our belongings.

Can was not cleaned nor sanitized. There was evidence of crumbs, debris etc in the van. Especially during the pandemic it is crucial for the vans to be cleaned and well maintained before renting to customers.

My partner and I reserved a 15-foot truck from this location for our move to Seattle this year. At first glance, I was not impressed of the location. But we were greeted right away by Tony with a caring and patient demeanor. He showed us where our truck was and suggested we come in to take care of the reservation, rather than doing the app. I'm glad we did, because Jafar (the clerk) was very helpful as well. Unfortunately, they didn't have the 20 blankets we reserved/ordered for our move. They only had 2, so we got a refund. (Renters, please make sure to return the blankets when returning your vehicle. Don't be a d*ck!) We really needed the blankets, so Tony went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. I gave him a very generous tip for taking good care of us. Tony and Jafar are good workers and friendly people. Make sure to come in with a smile (even when wearing a mask) and be kind to them. Thank you Tony and Jafar for your good service and kindness. We really appreciate it.

The communication was sparse. After speaking with the attendant at the customer service window there was little substantive communication. They parking attendant gave me the keys and said go. There was no instruction after that especially about how the truck would be inspected.

It took me 2,5 hours and 2 different locations to pick up the truck I reserved. This impacted our entire day, and was extremely stressful. I will not being using Uhaul again if I can avoid it.

The service at Arminda station was impossibly slow. When I arrived, the five customers ahead of me were all frustrated. I waited 45 minutes until I was served. I spoke to severa customer service folks about this and was promised a call back. The experience was bad over all. The truck was in poor shape.

When I arrived the attendant was engaged in a personal phone call during the entire transaction. He also said that they didn't have the truck that I requested and I had to opt for a larger vehicle. The truck had a damaged ignition that required the key to be forced into it for it to work. The passenger door frame was bent as though someone used a crowbar to open it at some point. I returned the vehicle an hour early. The attendant would not check the truck and said that everything was good to go. I was surprised to receive a notification the following day that indicated that I was charged for two days along with a fuel surcharge. The invoice indicated that it was checked in 3 1/2 hours after I had dropped it off which is what triggered an additional day's rate charge. Overall, the extra charge was 110 % more than the original charge. I wrote to the service provider, but did not get a response back. I am extremely disappointed since I've rented from this establishment before without incident. I'll most likely use Penske or some other competitor because of this egregious service experience.

They don't know how to work the system. If you have a reservation on hold they pretend they can't find it to start a new order and it charges you twice. They are a bunch of crooks.

This was the first time I rent a truck but the attendant made it very easy for me he explained the process for reserving a truck and when I came to pick the truck up their was no weight and on return it was just as easy will definitely rent again thank you U haul fir making my travels easy

It was fine. The drop off situation was supremely annoying though given they don't have reserved parking spots for their trucks. Spent 30 minutes driving around in circles trying to find a spot to leave their truck at 11pm.

The truck was not well maintained. The tire pressure was low, the check engine light was on, and the passenger door would not close securely. Communication with representatives was short and unclear. The service was very expensive. I understated how far we would be traveling and after a day of getting furniture in NYC our bill was over 100 $. A far cry from the 20 $starting price that is advertised.

The truck I reserved wasn't available so I had to take a smaller truck, which disrupted my entire move. Staff was kind and did what they could to remedy the situation as fast as possible, it seems like the issue was from the software allowing a single truck to be double booked.

First of all, when I signed for the vehicle, there was no real thorough examination of the vehicle with a U haul rep. Secondly, when I returned, there was not inspection of the vehicle. A lady behind a window glass asked for the key and my transaction was left incomplete. I DO NOT appreciate this as a consumer. I still haven't received any information from U haul about my final bill. I did everything on my part to ensure the vehicle was refilled with fuel, cleaned from my mess and safely operated. To be left in limbo is not only wrong, but I do not believe it's legal. The transaction should always be finished before the consumer leaves the premises. In this case it wasn't and I have no idea what my final charges are. I will be speaking to someone about this. In closing, if I find any misrepresentation occurred on the part of U haul charging my account, I will dispute and counter. Thank you for your kind survey. I look forward to hearing back from you. If I do not, it will just show how inept U Haul and it's representatives has become. This needs to be fixed because it comes across at "rigged". Thanks for the poor experience, U Haul.

Classic bait and switch move here... you took my reservation for one piece of equipment at a location walking distance from my house. Then the equipment is not available at all... and I'm moved to a new location nearly 40 minutes from my location.. thus adding milage to my trip which you charged me for.. also because the vehicle provided was inadequate.. it required me to make multiple trips moving across town.. again adding in more milage that you charge for I wish corporate enterprise gave any consideration for the CUSTOMER who supports the business ..

Reserved dolly, hand truck and blankets a couple weeks in advance of booking and when I arrived at the place, they told me they do not have any more. The personnel was not very helpful and just handed me the key and said go find the truck. So we were basically on a scavenger hunt trying to locate the truck. We could not find it so were went back to the office and told them. The guy told us it's 2 blocks down so we had to walk and find it which was ridiculous. Terrible service.

Terrible. My original rent size was not available and neither was the hand truck. My tank was less than half and was told to just return with the same amount gas and was still charged for fuel. Van was disgusting smelled like weed and was covered with oil and wet in the back. Had to cover up floor so my cargo would not get damaged.Then was told to return after hours and was not told about mobile option to save me the 20 dollar convience.
