Erinn S.I had ordered a 10 ft. ten days in advance and when I picked it up they only had a 15 ft. I had no choice but to take it. The gas mileage on a 15ft compared to a 10 ft makes a big difference. Spent 100 dollars in fuel cost and drove only 300 miles.
Christopher B.They changed my drop-off location, but it did not change in the system, so I was forced to drop-off at the original location. I also could not change the drop-off location myself, which made the whole thing more of a hassle than it needed to be. I do not blame either location for my trouble, but hold the company responsible for making this a terrible experience.

James B.It would be nice to round the time, a rental is picked up, I was picking up at 3:25 and was required to return by 3:15? smh, It showed me returning late because the app kept kicking me out and I was not able to finish the process until about 3:50. I should no have been charged a late fee, and we didnt even get to move because it was raining

CARL C.Got charged 2 times for a towing trailer I had rented out fir 1 day but I ended up returning that same day 45 mins before midnight so how can I get changed double it it was returned that same day not the following day but the same day I got it ! I was never told I had to drop it off at a certain time they said if I come after hours to park it in the lot and return the contract which I had place in there drop box as well to let them know trailer was returned!

Charles L.Parking is incredibly confusing and very difficult; as a Class A CDL driver, I had a difficult time, having to back in to a very congested lot from a busy highway with near zero margin for error. Staff WAS friendly, however clear signage and explicit instructions would be quite useful
Patrick G.I would recommend only for locals because it's close- especially fir a drop off that's central to Shelby, and the people are nice. It's very inconvenient, the parking area for the trucks and equipment is across a busy street that you have to cross to access. If you don't know the layout you end up crossing multiple time. The main area is crowded with vehicles for repair and carious car parts- watch your step.

CHARLES L.I had reserved a trailor for 8 am at another location. My reservation was changed to Armours Automotive for 9 am. The person responsible for U-Haul rentals left the office and di not return until 9;30. By the time I was able to get my trailor and leave it was going on 10 am. Therefore, I lost almost of 2 hours of morning work time. The heat index was to be in the upper 90's that day. The delay caused us to lose productivve time in the cooler temps.

Lisa D.My problem was not where I picked up or dropped off my truck rental, but with customer support and a guy named clay " Mr. Know it all " i l ike to call him. When dropping off my truck i was informed by the nice lady that it was supposed to be dropped of at the same location i picked it up from. This was a surprise to me. She asked if i chose in town or one-way. I explained to her that it never gave me the option to choose. So she called clay and explained to him the situation. Then she handed me her phone to talk to clay. Clay would not listen to what I had to say and talked to me like i was 5. Clay decided to hang up on me and immediately charge my card for the wrong location fee. Keep in mind the rental was not due back until 730 and this was 330ish. When I called to talk to customer service i was again talked to like i was stupid when i explained the website never ask me if it was in town or one way. Then i offered to go back and take the truck to the original place i picked it up. But was told i was already charged yhe fee. Now i know where i dropped it off the lady didn't know what to do. So i know the truck was not in the system as being dropped off yet. My card was charged immediately after clay hanging up on me without knowing whether or not i was taking the truck back to its original place. Thats unprofessional. He charged my card out of spite. Now i told both clay and the customer service rep that i could prove that the website never asked me intown or one-way. I was laughed at and treated like a dumbass. Now the third time i called i spoke to tanya. Now she is your model employee. She listened to what I had to say without judging or laughing. I also sent her a screen record of the process in getting a truck rental. Which plain as day shows it never asking me intown or oneway. I have opened a case against uhaul and disputed the charges for the fee. As far as " mr know it all ", is this really what represents uhaul as a company. If so you have lost my business and i will be moving my stuff from your storage location tomorrow. I have used uhaul alot in my lifetime. And all it took was one employee to ruin your reputation. I've let my lawyer know about the charge as well. Clays timing was a little premature and immature and could possibly have legal repercussions. I told him if he charged my card with the proof that i had had to back up my claims he would be sorry. All he had to do was listen and not be a douche. All of this could have been avoided but there is a glitch in your truck share reservation. I challenge anyone to set up a reservation yourself and you will see what im talking about. Hope clay reads this and sees his mistake.
