when a truck cannot be found and you click can’t find my truck, it’s nice that you assign another, NOT NICE I HAD TO WAIT 30 PLUS MINUTES FOR THE NEW TRUCK. Then I had the someone computer guy named Brian saying he was calling to verify with my relative which was right next to me but she had not received a SINGLE one of his “said” phone calls. Very upset and mad that I wasted 30 minutes of my truck and moving time for Brian to figure out how to contact someone.

The installation of the car trailer I rented was poor. My vehicle was damaged because the trailer was not secured to the hitch when I was instructed to drive the car to be towed on to the trailer. Upon arrival, I was told by the receiving dealer that my towed vehicle was improperly secured to the trailer, and could have come off had I had it ben necessary to swerve to avoid an accident.

I was originally scheduled to drop off at Battens Appliance store. When I pulled up and walked in the door, the lady in charge of returns immediately said if you are trying to drop that off here, I cant take it. She didn't ask my name or if I was in the right place or any information. She said she was full and turned and walked away as I was trying to ask what I was supposed to do with the truck since I was scheduled to drop it off and was getting very close to the mileage. She completely ignored me and continued to walk away. Extremely rude. There was a lady working the appliance counter who said you can always take it to the Army/Navy Surplus store. I said I just moved here and dont know where that is. She said its about a mile or two down the road. That was that. They were done with me. I did manage to take the truck to the Army/Navy Surplus Store, who had an abundance of trucks and clearly no room for anything else. He apologized that I was treated the way I was at the previous store and said he would absolutely take the truck off my hands and not to worry about anything else. He was very kind and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone. Battens Appliance should absolutely not be a vendor for UHaul if that is how she is going to treat customers. I am very thankful for the gentleman at the Army/Navy Surplus Store.

The worker was not helpful and very rude and condescending. When asking why rates were different he said not his problem. When asked about the app he seemed bothered to assist and when I was speaking to him when on the phone with uhaul he shushed me.

When I made the reservation on the phone it wasn’t not made clear that I would need to use mobile pick-up and drop off. Then I received a text one hour before pick up with an alternate site for pick up. My phone wasn’t able to download the app so I tried the website and it would not load the next pages needed to continue. I was on the phone with 3 different people and MOSTLY ON HOLD for almost two hours. I was sent to voicemail two of those calls after being transferred. Return was pretty easy.

I was charged 52.00 for being slightly shy of a quarter of a tank of gas. This is a rip off and unnecessary. I was not quoted the penalty before hand so this revelation came as a shock. No more than 1-2 gallons of gas( my best guess)cost me 52 dollars. I won't rent from uhaul again. I am very disappointed and I have been ripped off. Those fees are totally unacceptable. I read where uhaul has had previous lawsuits so evodentally this practice is unethical. I should have taken before and after photos of the mileage and fuel amount because this is ridiculous. This will never happen again.

Thanksgiving day was the agreed upon day of the return of the contract. Return service facilities were closed on that day. I check with the provider the day before and was told where to park the equipment. I did as directed. On November 28 I received a calll from the location provider and was told that an additional seven days would be charged for non-return when the equipment was parked at the designated location on November 22 at 5:50PM. This error has been corrected. However, the confusion is not necessary.

The gentleman went out of his way to help me prepare for my move. I had issues with the electrical hook up on my truck and he came back after hours to give me the rental after my truck was fixed. I'd give him 10 stars if it allowed.

Take a picture of the odometer and gas gauge or you will be charged a 25 dollar refill charge even when you bring it back with the tank the same or higher than it was when you picked it up. Without a photo you will have no way to prove it.

My reservation was changed without my knowledge. When the owner of this location called to tell me why it was changed, they promised to change the cost per mileage due to the inconvenience of driving farther for my reservation. However, when we returned the truck, the receipt still had the original mileage rate. Very poor customer service!

The only bad thing is that they charged the estimate to my debit card and it takes forever to get the credit back. But that is UHaul not the location. The gentlemen was very friendly and accommodating.

Using mobile pickup was very convenient. The only issue that I had using this method was when I had to upload pics. I kept getting a notification when I tried uploading the pics that the upload failed due to low memory. Sometimes I had to try to upload the same pic 15-20 times. This became very time consuming. All in all it was a very easy and convenient process.
