RENTED TRUCK NIGHT BEFORE WE NEEDED IT TO AVOID VERY RECENT REPEATS OF PROBLEMS. WITH UHAULS COMPUTER AND TIME WASTED. IT COST $115.40 ANOTHER 4 HOURS OF WASTED TIME TO GO FOR A DRIVE BREAK DOWN, TAKE THE TRUCK BACK TO WHERE IT WAS RENTED FROM. NOT GET THE TASK DONE WE SET OUT TO DO. FORECAST IS SUNNY TOMMORROW BORROWNG TRAILER FROM FRIEND 100 MILES AWAY LESS FRUSTRAITING AND ENSURE GET DONE TOMORROW WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED TODAY.THE VEHICLE WAS CLEAN, BUT THE BATTERY LEFT US STRANDED. FIX COMPUTER PROBLEMS AND COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS. AND DONT CHARGE THE NEXT CUSTOMER TO RENT A VEHICLE TO GO FOR A DRIVE AND BREAK DOWN.

My account was locked for unknown reason had to wait on the phone forever . Then system had me still locked waiting to update over an hour to get a ramp trailer . Terrible service. Very frustrating

Leon handled our rental. He was super knowledgeable and helpful. Please get a new computer for Leon. His computer was very glitchy. He had to find manual work arounds. The equipment was clean and we'll maintained. We rented a 10 footer for around town and then a 15 foot super mover for a cross country move. 7 days on the road and our van never missed a beat!??

A lady from dispatch, from a Springfield Oregon phone number, was one of the most rude customer service representative I have ever talked to. When I returned her call about them changing the drop off point from Lincoln City to DePoe Bay. I explained to her that not only did I have to drive 12+more miles with the truck, but I had to have someone pick me up adding time fuel and miles to vehicle. When we explained this to her she said, it doesn't matter you still have to do it. Because if you tried to drop it off in Lincoln City they will refuse it, like it or not. She stated that if I did not like it, I could call her boss the next day and he would tell me the same thing. Like or not. At no time did she say she was sorry for the inconvenience but continued to be rude. If I wasn't for EVERYONE ELSE involved in this rental experience I would not recommend U Haul. I filed a formal complaint by phone with the local personnel, but they recommended going on line but when I tried doing it before the truck was returned, it said to file a formal after the truck had been returned.

The man who rented the truck to me has excellent customer service skills and should get a raise in pay. He is courteous, efficient, handled a long line of waiting customers while doing a transaction with a long-winded customer.

The truck was very noisy when driving and didn’t seem to get a lot of traction when driving .I was not happy having to pay for extra gas at almost 5 dollars a gallon when it’s 3 something at the pump!!!I filled up to almost 1/2 a tank and was told that it was supposed to be a little over 1/2 a tank !!!Was charged 25 dollars for that

Horrible! That is how I rate my rental 'experience'. All I needed to do was to take some items from Lincoln City to South Beach, Oregon. All I needed was a pick-up or a van. No luck getting either one - the nearest U-Haul could only offer a short-bed, with a tall, totally useless 'roof'. It was horrible to drive on these windy, hilly roads and not being able to see behind me. When I went in to ask for a van or pick-up truck, I was told that there were no pickups available. And if I wanted to rent a van - I would have to go first to Southbeach - which is where I needed to go to deliver the items I needed the vehicle for - so I"m supposed to somehow get to Southbeach to rent the vehicle that I needed in Lincoln City to take down to Southbeach,, so, go to Southbeach to rent a vehicle that I would then have to drive all the way back to Lincoln City to pick up the items I needed to transport - drive BACK to Southbeach and deliver these items - turn around and have to drive back to Lincoln City again???? Do you have any realization as to how much more business your company could be making with having more accessible vehicles available? Especially 'in demand' vehicles like pickup's and van's? How many people want to have to drive a big clunker that doesn't offer a good vision field and has this short bed with a very tall and generally useless - unless you want to knock down a metal awning,, which I did, not quite knocked it down, but I did cause damage to this awning because I was exhausted and underestimated how close I was to the awning when trying to back in to a parking spot behind me.- No damage to the damn truck topper. I also bought the additional insurance at the site that I picked the truck up in. I know that I had quite a discussion with the guy that was handling the transaction about what a great deal that was for the extra coverage. It was my belief that this extra coverage also covered any damage done by drive and/or vehicle - found out the hard way after banging that useless top in to the metal canopy that, 'Oh, No,, That extra coverage only covers the van, and there is no damage to the van' - All I can say is that I will walk before ever renting from U-Haul again. You REALLY need to check in to how much more your company could me making if you kept more desirable vehicles on hand for people like me to rent - such as pick ups and vans. This was a totally horrible experience for me - and all I asked for was a pick up or a van,,,,without having to first get to where I NEEDED to go with the rental to rent the vehicle, and then have to drive back here to get the things I needed to get to where I had to first go to rent the damn thing, then make another double trip back and forth????? You could do a whole lot better and get a whole lot more customers with easier access and return of the actual vehicles that are required by the customers.

While Leon the U-Haul associate was fantastic, most of the other employees were less than helpful, and borderline rude. Leon is the reason I keep coming to this location. He deserves a raise, and notation of his excellent customer service skills. I hope I have his name right, it might have been a similar name.

Leon took our rental back in quickly and he was very courteous and friendly. Great facility & would strongly recommend . The 26’ super mover didn’t miss a beat the whole trip. Nice equipment and was clean and well maintained obviously. U-Haul will be my go to if I ever need a rental truck or trailer. And those tow dollies are pretty slick too. They track right behind like it wasn’t even there. Thanks U-Haul!
