The locations were fine. Uhaul scheduling was ridiculous as far as customer service. We reserved a 24' truck in delle bay. The day before Uhaul changed it to a 20' to be picked up in Lincoln City 15 miles away. Then they last minute changed my drop off site several miles away. The most ridiculous part is, I was charged additional mileage caused by there change of both locations. Iit'sChristopher B.

The guy who does reserv left early so no one could help us. Was told to come back afrer 10 am the next morning but someti.es hes late so call first etc. I have SEVERAL ISSUES with this rental experience. We havecspent thousands of $ moving with uhaul especially this last year. I have never had a bad exp or dealt with such ineptness and harrassment.. When i talked to your headqtrs it seemed all they said was sorry but did not offer any solutions. Has Uhaul forgotten there are other moving companies? They shouldnt have these indep stores with obly 1 trained person. Your biz stops if that person is late, off duty or obviously dealing with a substance which impairs him. Duly Noted. I am going to dispute the balance due to such harrassment and ineptness.Donna C.

Not a dedicated U haul store but part of a gas station/market store. Only one person seemed to know what was going on with drop off but he at least was good.Wayne R.
The guy that helped me with my rental was really nice and helpful. The only issue I had (and it wasn't the guys fault) was I had a last second emergency and needed a trailer ASAP and the check in process was pretty slow. I know it would have been quicker with a reservation.JIMMY W.

Only improvement is our location of pick up got changed on short notice and the new location put us behind on time due to opening hours. It went from 6am to 10am. Other than that the employees were super nice and helpful and I would totally recommend them.Cheltzy G.
The staff is what made my rating as POOR due to the inadequacies when I called to make changes in my reservation. I requested to extend for an addtl day, instead they just pushed the dates up. Luckily i recheck my scheduled return date and called. Then upon my returning the truck, Tina the store clerk was RUDE and says to call Uhaul if I had an issue and wouldn't comply with the No Contact Return option. Product use was overall GREAT.Yvonne G.
The attendant Jesse was very rude. If I didn't need the truck, I would have left and taken my business elsewhere. He spoke to me like I was stupid. I know what I ordered for equipment and accessories. He told me I was wrong. I'm usually an easy going person, but he is just unprofessional. Makes UHAUL look bad.BRANDY B.

Everything was great. The bathrooms were incredibly clean and the staff was extremely attentive. This was the shell by Tanger outlet mall, my truck was apparently scheduled to be picked up at another location, but I was accommodated at this location without any problem, and then UHaul contacted me to ask about the two trucks being scheduled and canceled the one without an issue. It was no problem, everything charged to my card accurately and the whole thing worked out. :-)Michelle D.

The young guy there did not know how U-Haul works. I entered drivers license and paid in full before we got there. He said nothing was entered as if I was just walking in to rent for the first time. When I told him I already entered everything, he decided he did not want to serve me any more. I had to get the manager instead and within 2 minutes it was all set but I had already been there for 30 minutes.Shu-ling G.

We attempted to drop the truck off after the location had closed. It was not clear where the truck should be parked, and the whole U-Haul part of the gas station was unlit and dark. We could not get the U-Haul online drop off process to work on our phones, so we had to leave the key with the cashier at the gas station. The U-Haul guy called the next day to let us know they got the truck and all was well. But the U-Haul after-hours drop off process needs some serious help--it is very frustrating and not usable as it currently stands.Mark W.

Called me the night before to tell me there was no car trailer available for a reservation I had several months prior. Then I was asked to drive 4 hours to pick up the trailer and was going to be charged 300 $more dollars to get a trailer at a location far away when I had it reserved with the truck in one location. It got worse, I can explain over the phone if needed. I've rented multiple times before and good service. This experience was the absolute worse ever and I'll be going to Penske for future rentals. Lost my business for sure. Uhaul mistake and I'm asked to pay more fir the same equipment I rented and had to drive 3 hours to pick up trailer. I had to use the uhaul truck to do this so. Was out even more gas money just to pick up a trailer that was supposed to be on location from my reservation. Wow, just wow.Jeff S.

This has nothing to do with the pickup location but I had reserved a 26' Uhaul & it was cancelled due to lack of availability. I think every effort should be made to meet the reservation & in this case I should have been offered a discount on another Uhaul as I am having to rent again.Court H.

Train the staff at the gas station on the basics of the equipment. I.e., hydrolic brakes, the size and tow capacity requirements, fuses to control the lighting, etc. I had to replace lights and get things functional 10 hours into the trip from Lincoln City, Oregon to Clarksville, TN via Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons because of an associate for Uhaul lying about lighting.Preston C.

The guy who rented me the trailer was fine. I was supposed to drop the rented trailer off at this location also. When I tried to return it, I have never been treated so rudely. the attendant used foul language and told me he was not taking the trailer & I needed to contact U-haul. No offer to help me just rudeness. I asked for his manager to report him & ask for help and he stood there arguing with me calling me a liar while I was trying to explain the problem to his manager.SHERYL R.
I wanted to drop off the Dolly so I could unload the truck. I called multiple times with no answer, over two days. I finally had to drive down there to talk to someone - he told me he was off the last two days and the other guy PUTS THE PHONE ON SILENT. VERY FRUSTRATING. Then I had to have the truck back by 7am SAT, and they don't open till 10:00. I asked the guy and he said I could drop it by anytime and give the keys to the guy in the Shell station. I dropped it off Friday about 7PM and they didn't check it in and I got charged for another day. I'm disputing the charge, but it's just one more little frustration you don't need when moving.Leith C.

RENTED TRUCK NIGHT BEFORE WE NEEDED IT TO AVOID VERY RECENT REPEATS OF PROBLEMS. WITH UHAULS COMPUTER AND TIME WASTED. IT COST 115,40 $ ANOTHER 4 HOURS OF WASTED TIME TO GO FOR A DRIVE BREAK DOWN, TAKE THE TRUCK BACK TO WHERE IT WAS RENTED FROM. NOT GET THE TASK DONE WE SET OUT TO DO. FORECAST IS SUNNY TOMMORROW BORROWNG TRAILER FROM FRIEND 100 MILES AWAY LESS FRUSTRAITING AND ENSURE GET DONE TOMORROW WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED TODAY.THE VEHICLE WAS CLEAN, BUT THE BATTERY LEFT US STRANDED. FIX COMPUTER PROBLEMS AND COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS. AND DONT CHARGE THE NEXT CUSTOMER TO RENT A VEHICLE TO GO FOR A DRIVE AND BREAK DOWN.jerry N.

Leon handled our rental. He was super knowledgeable and helpful. Please get a new computer for Leon. His computer was very glitchy. He had to find manual work arounds. The equipment was clean and we'll maintained. We rented a 10 footer for around town and then a 15 foot super mover for a cross country move. 7 days on the road and our van never missed a beat!??John V.
A lady from dispatch, from a Springfield Oregon phone number, was one of the most rude customer service representative I have ever talked to. When I returned her call about them changing the drop off point from Lincoln City to DePoe Bay. I explained to her that not only did I have to drive 12+more miles with the truck, but I had to have someone pick me up adding time fuel and miles to vehicle. When we explained this to her she said, it doesn't matter you still have to do it. Because if you tried to drop it off in Lincoln City they will refuse it, like it or not. She stated that if I did not like it, I could call her boss the next day and he would tell me the same thing. Like or not. At no time did she say she was sorry for the inconvenience but continued to be rude. If I wasn't for EVERYONE ELSE involved in this rental experience I would not recommend U Haul. I filed a formal complaint by phone with the local personnel, but they recommended going on line but when I tried doing it before the truck was returned, it said to file a formal after the truck had been returned.Richard A.
