I went into the location the day before I needed the equipment and reserved what I needed. When I arrived the next day, another employee (new) informed me that he had just rented my equipment to someone else. Another employee got involved, found the equipment for me at another location, and issued me a partial refund.daniel C.

Owner of facility was fine. Cab of truck was dirty & smelled strongly of smoke. We had to wait 45 minutes past our scheduled pick up time before truck arrived. Parking area was very crowded - people parking everywhere, not even in parking spaces which were very limited. Truck was difficult to back up due to the outside inventory of the store- bikes, washers, dryers, windows/doors. A place on the other side of the building might be beneficial but that is part of their car lot too. Process of paperwork went fine.Dwayne M.
This location and people were great. I'd rate the overall experience positive, but less than excellent because we were moved from a UHaul location within 2 minutes of our home to one that was 10-minutes away. Not the fault of Ask Check Cashing.Scott M.

I'm not sure about what you can do to improve for your next customer but I myself who has dealt with you guys for years would appreciate not being sent to the 3rd party dealers and would like to only deal with a actual Uhaul location if there is a next time!! The truck I got smelled like cigarettes smoke. I had to put my mask on the entire time I was driving the truck. Also, the back of the truck was so dirty that I had to get a broom to sweep out the dirt. The only positive experience I had was with the representative. She was very nice and answered my questions. Location very run down and sketchy looking. The man at the front charged me an extra 7 dollars because he said the gas wasn't where it needed to be when I filled it to the exact line and drove 1 mile from the gas station to the return location. Would not recommend this place to anyone, and if you on going alone I wouldn't do that as it doesn't seem safe.Stone P.

Horrible experience! Charged incorrect amount , drove 2 hours there and back to get there they didn't leave keys for truck. Had to spend 5 hours on phone trying to get corrected was even given a case number and advised it would be taken care of still not resolved. Was told rates would be honored because they had to change my pickup location but of course manager tells me at location nothing he could do due to their erriors. I'm just done with U-haul right about now! Will never use their service again!ASHLEY B.

I was guaranteed a 17 foot truck through reservation. When I arrived the morning of on the exact time reserved, they advised me they did have the truck and there was not another facility in the area that had one either. I was offered a 15 foot truck that I accepted because I had to have a truck. The truck smelled like cigarette and the AC did NOT work (during a movie in the dead of an NC Summer). I had to make two trips because of this inconvenience which DOUBLED my mileage. Before returning the truck EARLY, I called customer service to let them know what had happened and they advised me that they would note that I would get the $50 reservation guarantee credited to the bill along with a discount for the mileage. When I arrived at the facility to return the equipment, they did not acknowledge or even care of the issues that I had that day. The exact response that I received to me advising that the AC did not work was "Oh Ok". And they advised that they were going to charge my card the full amount owed, which I did not let them do!!!!! This is unacceptable that these non professional ghetto spots have the opportunity to represent the Uhaul brand. I would have NEVER chose to rent from this location. My original requested location was 716 Capital Blvd which I had a previous great experience with. They called me the day i made my reservation and advised me that they would not have a 17 ft truck available and changed the location to 2510 S Wilmington St. If I had of know that I would end up with a 15 ft truck anyway I would have rented from the 716 Capital Blvd location. I am very dissatisfied that despite the horrific challenges that I faced that day I am STILL being charged full price and the likely hood of me using Uhaul going forward is slim to none.Kadisha H.
Truck was dirty and had items left in the truck that belonged to the previous customer. I was supposed to be able to pick up the truck using uhaul 24/7 but I was forced to go into the store where no one was wearing a mask except me. My original reservation was with Storage King, 315 Hubert Street. No One was there at the time of my pick up! The office was supposed to be open, no-one was there! They had a sign on the door indicating someone would be back in 20 minutes, Stupid me - I waited - no one returned. After calling the main number to Uhaul they switched my reservation to "ASK Checking". The truck's AC did not work, the people behind the bullet proof windows (yes - that type of place) were indifferent. NEVER AGAIN will I use Uhaul.john H.
My uhaul was disgusting. It has an old pizza crust stuck in the dash. The uhaul I ordered was an 17 foot and they didn't have that, so I had to settle for an 15 foot. It was a terrible experience. But the lady that helped me was really nice.Kari S.

I had made reservations to complete a one-way use of the truck. However the reservation/order was not entered into the system. I had two phone calls from two different store agents inquiring the status regarding returning the truck which was a one-way reservation.Michael P.
