First, they don’t open until 10:00. I am not willing to drop off a vehicle without walking around it with a real human being. The truck was due back at 8:00 and I was charged another full day, even though the staff told me the day before to drop it off at 10:00 due to their store hours. Thankfully the young lady that helped got that charge reimbursed. Also, this location seems to be new or very unorganized. The young lady who helped me had to call corporate to have them walk her through the computer check in. The day before I talked to a young man, who could not even operate the system, as stated by himself. I would suspect some serious trading is needed for this location. Which by the way only had one other truck on the whole lot. Obviously they are renting much equipment for haul.

I still have not had the chance to report this U-Haul rental to the Better Business Bureau, but I certainly will. How dare your company rent a vehicle that your company had absolutely NO intention of providing at the agreed pick up time. You would certainly enforce your end of a rental agreement....but when it comes to your customer's it an entirely different matter. Your company CANNOT be allowed to rent vehicles to consumers with agreed upon pickup times, and have absolutely NO intention of providing them. My rental was for 8AM at a location (without any signage or indications it's a U-Haul facility, other than a key drop-box...DISGRACEFUL!) and the fact that this "facility" didn't open until 10AM...'so what?' as your regional general manager said on the day I called to complain!!! The agent on the phone tired to be helpful, but calling it a 'computer glitch' is a DAMN LIE! Giving me a paltry $50 rebate does NOT assuage any of the anger and contempt I feel towards your company. I had people waiting for me to help with my move and I was on a tight schedule. Because of the 2 hour delay, I wasn't able to make it to my intended destination causing me to rent a hotel for an additional $100. I will tell everyone I can of U-Haul's deceptive business practices, and as I have said I will be reporting this incident as well as issuing reviews on other web-rating sites. I just have been too busy with my relocation to get it, a relocation that you really tried to mess-up with your reprehensible business practices...SHAME on U-Haul!!!

I had "reserved" a 26 foot truck, but the day before pick up I got a call saying that all of those sized trucks were taken. Although frustrating, I understood. The person told me that the nearest truck that size was over an hour away from my original pick up location. Alternatively, the person offered me a 15 foot truck and added 2 days, and the pertinent miles needed to make 2 trips, as a compromise. I appreciated the effort to make the best of a hard situation. We elected the 15 foot truck and fit Most, but not all of our planned moving items. Good enough, considering the circumstances.

I called customer service before we even checked out due to issues. I was told manager would call me. That was Saturday and it's now Tuesday night and I have not received a call. We rent a uhaul every couple months and this was the absolute worst experience we have had. Really not even just location fault. The issues I had we're alot to do with uhaul. I would appreciate if someone would actually contact me to resolve my issues.
