Each time I reserved online from UHAUL they never have the truck. What's the point of running a business! This time I was charged extra mile. I reserved a truck 15 minutes from my house so I can Uber there but you guys only have 1 available and that's 1hrs for me to pick up the truck and another hour to get to my first destination. My mileage should be 30 miles one way for me but I have to pick up the truck an hour away. I even reserved a dolly but none in stock too. I can't believe I was charged an extra 36mils when it was uhaul mistake that they didn't have the truck at the location I pick online . D your job right Uhaul! This is people live

The rental location and staff were great, and the van was clean. The gas tank sensor was malfunctioning, which I discovered while attempting to fill up. A kind stranger at the station helped me fill up using a portable tank. Not convenient!

Aubuchon in Stow was excellent. However, my rental experience overall was poor. An online reservation made with equipment confirmed at U-Haul Central Street in Leominster, resulted in no equipment upon arriving for pick-up. The reservation for specific equipment was ignored by staff, and the reserved equipment rented to a walk-in.

I ordered an appliance dolly and it did not come with it. It was a easily refunded yes, but then I needed to suddenly move a washer and dryer without a dolly. Secondly, there was something wrong with the gas tank. It would only take 1 second of gas at a time before it shut off the pump. It took 15 minutes to pump 4 gallons of gas. Previous reviews online reported the same.

Staff was rude, I was charged a much higher price and the truck cab and back were covered in dirt. Gas tank was not full.

When picking up van, it took awhile for them to figure out how to put info into the computer. But it's a newish UHaul location, so maybe that's why. Otherwise, everything was fine. The van was comfortable. There was ac. The back where we put the furniture seemed clean. No complaints.

We were overcharged and have no recourse because we didn't take a picture of the odometer. The van wasn't checked in when we got there even though we had a 9am reservation-we weee stick waiting for thirty minutes while the van was checked in from the day before-making us late. Also-no one in the store could initially help us, we had to wait for the one person who does uhual transactions to be able to come to the desk-also adding to our time waiting. We didn't get the confirmation until after we had driven away-again, the store was rushing to check it in.

The Truck had a horrible smell. It was filthy and the gas tank was too senitive for the pump. T kept shutting off. Filling the tank was exhausting and added 2 hours to my trip

The team at Aubuchon was great. Too bad U-Haul messed up my reservation! It was originally 4pm-10am so I could deliver furniture to a place that opened at 8:30am. When I picked up the truck, the reservation was changed to an 8am return. I called Aubuchon to ask for a 10am return and was told I would have to pay for another day rental and collision damage, so two days of charges for 16 hours. They said the U-Haul system added the charges and that Aubuchon couldn't change it. When I return the van at 9am, the manager tried to erase the extra charge but could not. My next step is to tell the credit card company to not pay any extra charges.

Rental agent, Jessie, was terrific. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. He took good care of me. I washed the van at home and cleaned the inside windshield. Floor of the cab was dirty as well as door pockets. The gas tank was incredibly difficult to fill. Something wrong with the inlet. Could only pump gas excruciatingly slow. Otherwise the van fulfilled my needs.

The van was clean enough. There was some small debris, including a lot of pennies on the floor. The truck started, but I was a little nervous about it a couple of times.

Pick Up Location was great. U Haul was a disappointment. I was not notified by UHaul of the change in my reservation. My original equipment was not returned to my original pick up location. My original pick up location reached out to me before UHaul did. Thanks to them I started looking for alternate equipment. I called UHaul to change the equipment and pick up location. I was on hold for 30 minutes before getting disconnected, then another 20 minutes before speaking to an agent. At first she was going to reserve equipment forty minutes away from me. I informed her I had seen similar equipment at a location ten minutes away. She was able to reserve that for me. Overall a very disappointing experience with UHaul itself. Both Maynard Motors and Aubuchon HArdware of Stow were very helpful and great costumer service. UHaul itself, not so much.

The return was badly handled: the mileage was incorrect, I was charged for fuel on top of the per mile charge, I was charged for insurance which I had declined when making the reservation. This was a satellite location and U-Haul needs to better train these employees.

I could not pick up or return by smart phone. The Uhaul app would not work because it could not find my location. My location access was turned on so it is a problem with the Uhaul app. I took 30 minutes to pick up since I had to go into the store.

Our location was changed last minute to this location due to another location not having the equipment requested. This location also did not have the equipment but the staff were helpful in getting us an alternative.

I was quoted $130 for a 48 hour Van rental that ended up costing me over $230 even though I returned the van after only using it for only 30 hours , washed and fuel full. As a realtor, I consistently recommend vendors that are great to work with, unfortunately your company won't be one of them. Two thumbs down.

The van could have used a sweeping from the previous driver, it wasn't terrible but I swept it myself before putting in my stuff on the dirt left behind. Other than that, it was a great experience and I'll use them again.

15 foot truck was never dropped off, had to use 10 foot truck, had to make 30 percent more trips because of this. The $50 dollar credit promised is nice, but it did not make up for the inconvenience.

The back of the truck was dirty and there was unmarked damage on the vehicle leaving me with great anxiety because I could not figure out how to upload my pictures for evidence to the mobile pickup app. The cell service was very bad so it took me 30 minutes to complete the return process because the website kept timing out and I had to retake pictures and answer all the questions three times. I was almost late in completing my return as a result of this and the below fiasco. Also, the directions for where to park the van upon return were extremely confusing. We ended up just parking it near all the other trucks because we had no idea what the directions meant when it referred to something like one row over from the median behind Citizens Bank which was nowhere near any of the other vans. But all of the above pales in comparison to the fact that there was a bait and switch in pickup locations. I was extremely upset that I had booked and confirmed the Acton location and received a random email that I missed that change the location to a place that was 30 minutes from my house adding an hour and many miles to my trip that I was forced to pay for. I would have cancelled had I noticed. A clearer indication that the email represented a change would have been helpful as I didn't realize it until I was sitting at the place in Acton and couldn't get my truck. It made me 30 minutes late for my pickup appointment. And made the whole thing very stressful. Had I known this was going to happen, I likely would have selected a totally different location and/or company. It was especially infuriating because I spent extra time on the phone while booking it to confirm that the Acton location worked (and they do remote pickup and had plenty of lovely trucks on the location when I arrived). I will be using a different company next time. I will also be sharing my experience with others so they do not suffer the same fate.

This rental required I use an application for the complete transaction. The issue was theirs was weak cell service, so it took 50 % longer than it should have. Also, I requested a hand truck and moving blankets and vehicle had neither.

All employees at pickup location were untrained. They didn't know how to get the key out of the lockbox. Couldn't help me so they walked away. Extremely rude. Had to call the Uhaul manager to get it sorted. Very tedious experience, all while out in the 90 degree heat.

Honestly, this u-haul pickup was the worst service experience in my entire life! My reserved pick up location was changed less than 24 hours prior to pick up to a location an additional 20 miles away. I called to confirm my truck and was told that if there were any issues with pick up the next day I would have to call customer service. Of course, there was a problem! Even though I had reserved for mobile pick up, I was not able to check in online and received a message that I would have to wait until the store opened (which was not for another 90 minutes!). After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, no one at customer service could tell me why the reservation was set up incorrectly. They offered me a measly $50 credit. When an store employee did arrive, he kindly tried to help (even though it was not his job!) and spoke with customer service, and after 100 minutes we finally got the key although this delayed everything else throughout the day. U-haul needs to have an accurate reservation inventory system so they are not changing locations at the last minute. Also, authorized locations (like our pick up location) need to be empowered to help with issues, And a 30 minute wait for customer service (all of the times I called) is completely unacceptable! These negative comments are for U-haul ONLY...if I could give the employee at Aubuchon 10 stars, I would!
