They gave us a very good tip for if the trailer starts to sway! It was very helpful with our travel! I want to add that LaRochelle Auto, Middlefield Rd, Hinsdale MA gave EXCELLENT customer service. They were closed on Monday, September 6, 2021, they gave us a 50,00 $ refund! So we were moved to this location. Originally we booked this for West Housatonic St., Pittsfield MA. The day before I am told it was moved to LaRochelle, and then to Aubuchon, which was an hour away from our home. I was extremely unhappy with U-haul the company. I had booked this rental months in advance at the Pittsfield location, but it is not held. U-haul apparently calls the night before if it is one way travel. That's ridiculous. What is the point in picking a location, if U-haul doesn't handle this until the night before! I had called U-haul in Pittsfield and they said we haven't had a 12' trailer in a week. Poor customer service. The locations were very helpful. U-haul needs to address this issue

Service WAS excellent but was disappointed when I went to return the vehicle and was hit with an additional 60 $charge that was not explained to me when picking up and making my reservation. The truck was clean to the touch, but smelled heavily of cigarette smoke covered by some air freshener. While unloading we discovered that there was water in the "mom's attic" portion of the truck, well away from where the door opens and water drippage would be expected.

The location was 40 minutes out of the way of our requested pickup location. They also were not able to supply either of the dollies we requested or a full dozen blankets. All of those materials were paid for up-front.

The storage area of the truck had deodorant, 2 strange looking lollipops and a needle in it, that we didn't notice before we started moving stuff.

I believe they read the fuel Gauge wrong as I literally added fuel 2miles down the road to bring it up to the right level & I still got charged 22 $!!! I couldn't protest cuz there e-mail comes from a “noreplyuhaul...” address.

Nothing for this location, but fix the computer program so the vehicle can be delivered at a closer u-haul location. I was scheduled to return the vehicle to Woodside, NY, even though they tried to allow me to return it to Flushing, NY. I called U-Haul about this, waited a long time to be told to call the scheduling department. I called and waited a long time for this as well. The scheduling department allowed me to return the vehicle to the Flushing, NY location.

It is ridiculous to allow us to rent our truck in Turners Falls- but to return it we had to drive 35 minutes out of our way. On top of that I was charged gas that was wasted driving so far to return the truck. Poop customer service and poor return options.

Disappointed that UHaul doesn't apply this location with furniture dollies but was able to just buy some at the nearby home depot. Also found it strange that UHaul moved my pickup location to 30 minutes further away from me even though the location I wanted had the vehicle I wanted. I ended up just doing an unreserved, day of pickup at my preferred location and canceling my original reservation. Aubuchons was a great pickup location and did everything they could to help me despite UHaul putting up some roadblocks. Overall glad they have a location close to me though. Truck was great.

The staff, especially Ray at Aubuchon's were most helpful, but the online website was very difficult to use because it forces the user to go through several screens about other needs (boxes, etc.) when all I wanted was the truck.

U-Haul not only has a terrible rental systems, but they issued an unworkable iPad and will not replace it. I feel bad for the Aubuchon employees because they were amazing and worked hard to get me into a truck after U-Haul made several mistakes in the reservation process. The people here are great, but give yourself extra time to deal with uhaul's incompetence.

Ok, I don't know where to start, I was 170 miles from home to pick up a car. Expected to pick up the trailer and make my trek home. But when the Store manager tried to lower the trailer on to my vehicle, He could NOT !!!!!! The lift was JAMMED UP and would not move to allow the trailer to drop onto the ball. It took over an hour but he was able to disengage the lift and allow me to hook up and complete my trip!!! I almost lost the car deal being delayed!!!!!! I want to commend his quick thinking. Because of this incident I am going to think twice about using U HAUL again !!!! An EXTREMELY disappointed Customer !!!!!!!!!

Can't think of much. The folks at the store where I rented the van were friendly, patient, and professional. Things went very smoothly for me. Highly recommend the online reservation option.

After giving all the information on line I had to do it again at the time of pick up with the agent. What's the point of collecting it ahead of time?Unfortunately, the iPad system was not very smooth and the screen would freeze up, frustrating the agent. That said, the agent was very nice and fortunately the store was not busy.

There was some confusion between another drop off location in Greenfield and the Shelburne location about an added fee or no fee when a one-way drop off is at a different location than the contract. They sorted it out amongst themselves and sent me on my way. Good bunch of guys.

I rented a 20' box truck. The staff where fantastic and the only issue I had was the blood all over the back of the truck. When I opened the Box truck door, on the right side was a fairly large amount of blood. There was more scattered throughout the back of the truck. No other issues though.

Your computer/website seems to always be a problem. I have encountered severe wait times at your Northampton, MA location including a time when I had to pay cash because your system was down. The Shelburne folks were the best I have encountered, but still had difficulties.

The customer service was excellent, as they had to deal with horrible U-Haul software. Try as they might they could not get the software to work properly. They tried desperately to call their technical support with no success. They were great. U-Haul was not

So glad you asked.... Probably the best thing that U-Haul could do to help this location out, would be to make sure it comes up in the Location Search. When I went to make a reservation at this location (which I already knew was there), it did not come up in the available choices. This resulted in me not being able to reserve a truck online, and risking that maybe there would not be a truck there when I needed it. Also, because I was not able to reserve online, this made it difficult and tedious for the on-site staff to deal with my rental. So, if you really want to help out this location and the customers that want to use it - get it listed in the location search. Thanks :-)
