I was charged for fuel when I left the uhual with the same amount I picked it up with
Lonzo SI was supposed to pick up my truck from City Appliances but when I got there at 10:04 am there wasn't a truck available so I had to come to this location which is never prepared. You have to text someone who isn't ready, he acts as if he doesn't know what he's doing. I'm very unhappy plus I had additional charges that were not on my quote

Ray MThe condition of the uhaul when we received it was so dirty. There was crushed cookies, melted chocolate, and other candies, along with dirt and debris on the ground. The walls and the cabin area were also covered with old stains. We had to mop the back of the truck and throw the old Mop head away before we could even load our stuff into the truck. This was the worsed uhaul I've ever gotten.

JOSEPH MI couldn't be less satisfied. I showed up @ 7:30 a.m. to pick up the truck rental I reserved. There was no truck available I was sent to another location. after wasting an hour and a half trying to find "Uhaul" which is a gas station, I left at 10:00. I returned the vehicle @ 3:00, there's no one to receive the vehicle and I was charged for 6 gallons gas for 12,8 miles. Really? I'm going to tell my credit card company to disallow, this is a scam.
Ann RI ordered blankets and they were not provided as well as I only drove 13 miles and was charged for 5 miles of gas when the truck uses 10 miles per gallon. I am extremely disappointed and will never return here and make sure no one I know goes here as well.

David PThe manager was rude and the whole time we were picking up the equipment he was on the phone having a casual conversation with someone else. Our 15' truck had been rented out to someone else, even though I had talked to him twice on the phone that morning that I would definitely be picking up the truck. He replaced it with a 10' truck, filthy dirty, gas on empty. We had to put gas in it before we could pull out, sweep the inside which was full of leaves and wash the windshield to be able to drive. I have used u-haul often and have never had an experience like this before! We returned the truck clean and on schedule in Quincy, CA with 1/4 tank of gas and are now being charged gas by u-haul. I am beyond disappointed by this whole experience.

Crispin GI reserved the truck along with an appliance dolly and 24 moving pads, and day I pick up truck I'm told no dolly and no pads, and basically told me you're sh*t out of luck. This made my move difficult and unsafe without appliance dolly, and not able to protect my items with pad I RESERVED!!!! I reported this via U-Haul website, but never did receive a response. Next time I need to rent a truck I'm not using Uhaul !

Judy RIt was confusing that the drop off was in a gas station and I talked to 3 different workers they weren’t even clear with the information I was asking them about turning in the U-Haul . Then the next day I get a text that they haven’t received my key when I turned it in to the cashier .

KEVIN LThe person who ran the gas station did not speak good enough English to understand what I was asking. I reserved a 15 foot truck online and woke up to a text the morning of saying they do not have 15 ft trucks and only had 10ft trucks. I got text a truck number that I was assigned to and couldn't get the truck out because another truck was parked in front of it. There was garbage in the cab and the floorboards were extremely dirty. I also requested a dolly/hand truck. When I asked the guy in the gas station, he couldn't understand what I was asking- finally did and told me he had nothing to do with that. I text the guy I was texting from the morning about the hand truck and he said that Uhaul has not supplied them with any even after multiple requests from corporate. Completely unprofessional. I don't know why the items are available to reserve if they are not available at every location. Would have been helpful to know this information ahead of time to find another hand truck for my move. It made the move take much longer and I physically had to carry every single box. Very inconvenient.
Elizabeth MWe called and reserved a U-Haul w/ a utility dolly, but when we went to pick it up there was no dolly and no moving blankets that are usually standard for the rental of the truck. Ours was missing both! They location employees didn't speak English very well at all and were actually very rude when I brought the fact the dolly andblankets were missing on our truck. Their response was "no availability." horrible experience.

Chelsea SThe vehicle I reserved was not available. The van that they offered as a substitute was half the size of cargo space that I needed. I returned the box truck with more fuel that when I picked unit it up. And I I cleaned the box truck before returning it. And I drove 40 plus miles less than I was forced to reserve and pay for. I was charged more than my actual quote .
John HI was given a different vehicle then the one originally assigned so I was unable to complete the online pre trip portion. Also I requested a dolly and pads as I was picking up new furniture but the location had neither.

William HOur overall experience was excellent. The only issue we had was using the online check out system. It was a bit confusing and didn't re-direct you to the next page after inputting your driver's license. It just took you to a screen where you were sitting in que and not sure what to do next. It wasn't totally user friendly, but luckily the gentleman inside the gas station was super friendly and was able to help us. I would definitely recommend renting from this location.
Amy RMy only comment would be the mileage price is too high. There should be a provision for a long distance rental.

LARRY JNo service. "just give me the key" I asked for a receipt and was told not to worry about it. They did not even look at the truck when i dropped it off. I will not go to this site ever again.
THOMAS LThere's basically no signage, it's in a gas station and there's a small U-Haul sign on the door but you can't see it from the street. They had to change trucks when we got there, it had only a quarter tank of gas when we took it and we returned it with a quarter tank and yet were charged for gas. The gas station never answered the phone the rest of the day when I called to ask about it. I called customer service and am still waiting for a call from a regional manager, which apparently takes up to 3 days. I've rented from U-haul before but never at this location. I would never return to this one.
Susan BThis location is also a gas station and there was only one staffer there at the time. He was busy helping gas customer and so was not able to check in the truck. He just accepted the key and said he would do everything later. My billing for the truck was much higher than expected...triple what I had been quoted. Still trying to get a resolution.
LAWRENCE LI was charged for the service I didn't request. I asked not to include $15 coverage, but in my invoice I was charged for $15 coverage. I asked for a refund, because I didn't want that coverage. But still no refund :(

KIMBERLY ZWhen I received the truck, it was filthy on the outside, fairly clean on the inside of the cab. Easy check out. The tank was a fourth for so that's how I returned it. Very frustrating if I was going long distance.
Deana BGas was completely empty when we picked up the truck. Spent $75 on gas that I'm hoping to get either reimbursed/partial credit back for. Reserved a truck in advance and then showed up to the equipment not showing as reserved, and turns out it wasn't available at all. Luckily the guy that worked at the location gave us a bigger truck for the same price. We were very thankful for that! The experience overall wasn't bad, the worker was very nice and the truck was in great condition. Just frustrating to have to stop for gas within the limited time frame we had to use the truck, and to not have the equipment we reserved readily available.
Marina BThere was fraud! First of all at check in they didn't confirm mileage with me and fuel level, only said "you take pictures", that was it. The truck had almost empty fuel tank, only 1/8 was left. I drove only 10 miles on it and refilled gas according to truck MPG information. When I return the truck, there was a guy who said "I cannot assist you with u-haul rentals, just drop the key into the box and leave". The next day morning I received receipt for $117 but originally was estimated for $60. When I called the location the guy said he cannot help me and I have to contact u-haul customer service. Luckily Jennifer from u-haul understood the situation and asked me to provide proof of mileage, fuel level, and receipt from gas station. After I provided all information Jennifer requested a refund. This guys make money of people who don't pay attention to details and cannot fight for themselves! I will never recommend this location to anyone and will not come again here!
Andrei SI was charged $10 for an appliance dolly that was not provided. I was charged for a utility dolly that was not provided. Since it was Sunday, the actual U-haul building was not staffed and the clerk at the 76 station was unable to assist me. I had to go across the street to Aba Daba Rentals to rent an appliance dolly for $23.70. Also, I returned the vehicle with the same amount of gas that was in it when I received it; however, I was charged an additional $31,25 for 5 gallons of gas.

Rodolfo PLocation is a convenience store and since it's only staffed by one person, there is no one there to help with logistics. The vehicle we rented was blocked in by another so I had to move the other vehicle in order to get ours out safely. I had asked for a dolly through the website but was never notified that wasn't an option with this location. Thankfully a friend of ours that was helping was able to bring one.
Colleen HI told the attendant at the gas station 76. That ."I need to put a few dollars of gas in. I went 5 miles" and he said "no. Don't worry about it " Of course, I was charged $30 for the gas fee. I was at the gas station.! My 19,99 rental turned to over 100

Michelle WClean up the area. Fresh coat of paint on the building. Clean the vehicle. Windows and mirrors were very dirty. Have the vehicles gassed up to 1/4. This is adjacent to their gas station.
Gail FThere is no indication of where you need to go in order to pickup the key. I was standing outside circling the truck for 15 minutes, then spent another 15 calling customer service to determine what I needed to do. After being transferred, I was told to enter the gas station to retrieve my key. The attendant at the gas station took my information but told me that their "uhaul man" had gone out and to wait 10 minutes by the truck. I did as told, and after 10 minutes went back in to ask what I was waiting on. I was finally given the key by the same attendant. The truck was dirty and a couple miles away from empty which was disheartening. I also did not receive a dolly like I had specifically paid extra for.
Sophia KThe uhaul is literally a 76 gas station. The cars were parked very close together and I had to get in the truck on the passenger side. That said, everything was clean and well kept.

Dino SThe person working the counter was rude and did not explain the process. We showed up early but we're delayed past our reservation start time because they didn't know what to do. The truck was blocked in and we had to wait for them to move the other trucks. Then when we returned it they said we were done and they would send the bill. They failed to tell us we had to take pictures of the truck and enter the odometer and gas information. This resulted in us having to drive back to the rental place to complete the transaction. Horrible service!!!

SHANE GI was not properly checked in to verify gas tank level or truck mileage. When I returned the truck i put gas in it. No one was there to verify with me about gas tank level of fuel replacement or mileage use. I was overcharged at least 40 miles extra mileage. No one was there to verify mileage when I checked in. How did they get 40 extra miles or even know that I put gas into the truck when it wasn't full when I picked it up. Very poor service. Had trouble getting the lock off the back door to open. No one answers the phone at this location

He told me to wait, I asked if I could wait by my car, he told me to "just fucking wait" Very unprofessional, no paperwork, left me with little to no gas in my truck and I knew I would get screwed over on it. Never going to this place to rent again.
Moises SI got there at my reservation time (3pm) and was told the U-Haul employee left and nothing could be done. The store employee was adamant about this until I was on the call with customer service he finally handed me the key an hour after arrival (around 4:10pm). Then another 20 minutes to get him to move the U-Haul vehicle blocking my reserved truck in.
Brayden HThe truck we rented for just a couple hours was a mess. The back was not cleaned out as it had nails and dirt even some oil or something everywhere. The employee did sweep it out prior to leaving and tried to get us into another one but the other one had a flat. We only put 8 miles on it but even in that short period was just not a comfortable situation.
Alexander LThere was lack of communication that we could pick up our truck at a later time (10 pm), which was scheduled with a Uhaul representative few days before. When we arrived at the location at 10 pm, the worker there told us that we could not actually pick up our truck because he said he didn't know how to do it and that the person who did already left...we were able to pick up the next day and found that 2 of our equipment rentals was missing so I don't know how if that was a miscommunication with Uhaul or this place. I will say that at least the person was being nice to us throughout the process when we came to pick up the truck.

Andrea MFuel tank had a hole in it at pickup and they tried to blame me even as you can see where they tired to fix it with apoxy. Very unsafe and can only imagine the liability had it not gotten noticed. Had super bad attitude with no customer service skills. Very bad experience to the point I've contacted UHaul directly for a FULL refund and will never use them again.
