This was the worst experience I've encountered with Uhaul. "Uhaul you should not contract with this company giving you guys a bad name" Upon getting the van I nearly waited 15 minutes for staff to become present. Then once getting the van there was an over powering smell of a wet dog that lingered through the vehicle clear into the bed of the van. The bed of the van was all muddy and dirty. Huge hair balls were left all through the van. There were food droppings on the floor in the cab of the van. The windows had been tampered with (the sealing had air coming through) Before even being able to transport what I needed too the van required a huge deep clean and being the seats were cloth there was no way of removing that smell. The van was disgusting and it certainly gave Uhaul a bad name. To say the least I'm very disappointed in this representation of the company and had a horrible experience!

Carol Peoples ProcterThe driver's compartment was dirty, with what appeared to be spilled soda everywhere. There was a muddy paw print on the windshield, right in my line of sight. There was something else on the windshield, too. My guess is tobacco spit. It was disgusting. The cargo area was clean, though.

Roxann WardThe person that checked me in was rather irritated, rude, and not excited at all to help me. She even reprimanded me for being 5 minutes early (which, frankly, is unheard of) from our reservation time. Our vehicle also didn't come with any of the requested pads. Perhaps if the employee was better I would recommend it, but it was a very sub-par experience.

Lois BaxMy rental was supposed to be at the Auburn market. When I went to go to pick it up they said that the gas tank had been drilled and drained last night. Auburn is going down hill for sure. I didn't get mad and you found me another location when I got there someone else said that they were me and they were checking out it shouldn't be that simple to just say they know me! Not having availability at the first place added on to my day. The back of the van was messy I cleaned it. The girl at the second location was very nice. I am glad that I made it there before someone took my van in my name! I really like the van for running errands I will use it again hopefully next time without the issues. Highly recommend locations where the rentals are locked inside a gate in Auburn. I know that isn't always possible but between catalytic converters and gas this place must be costing you a lot. Have a nice day.

The price was good and just what we expected to pay. This UHaul site and the friendly help we got from Noah made for a great start to the day.... because moving sucks! Will definitely return.

Menker MulugetaI picked up the box truck with empty tank. I alerted the manager at the location and he said he was going to put a note in there. However, my receipt is showing that I was charged for gas. This is very inconveniencing me.

Raylene WilkinsonThe truck I rented was filthy dirty and had not been cleaned in a while. It smelled bad too and a dog had obviously been in it because there was dog hair all over the seats. There was dust and dirt on the dash etc. With COVID I would think this would not happen. There is no way this was sanitized. If I had not been so desperate to pick some things up I would have not taken it.

Robin WarrenAuburn storage was great however uhaul is the worst company for rental trucks and I will never use them again. The customer service is absolutely the worst. I'm still waiting for a response from uhaul management. Rented a one way which was 50$ more then intown (if I took it back to the same location) I paid the extra because I had work that Monday and couldnt get back for the return. Uhaul schedule called 1 hour after I picked up and told me I had to return it back to the same city it was another 30 miles to do this and then they charged me the extra miles to take it 30 miles back to them. I would be charged a extra 100 to take it to the original destination I originally chose.

Rosalyn BeckFix your software. The local representative was intelligent, skilled, and committed. Your software rendered her unable to book the truck. I saw this with my own eyes. Does U-haul want to be complicit in establishing a society paralyzed by stupid computer problems? I'm a software engineer... I can help if you are interested, just let me know. At any rate, our move went perfectly... once we had the truck.

BRANDEN KERINThe guy working behind the counter was nice enough, but I chose this listing because it was "guaranteed availability" unlike the other "limited availability" listings. Apparently I was 13th in line for a reservation that he simply couldn't fulfill. He offered us a $50 refund/discount and said our truck would be ready at another location. We asked about dollys and pads, he said not to worry, they'll have them there (they didn't, we had to go to a 3rd location). Also.... I still haven't gotten my $50 refund.

Charles DzahI originally had a 20' truck reserved at the Uhaul location on Rainier Ave. in Renton. They didn't have my truck when I got there and hadn't informed me at all prior to my arrival. Then, they couldn't find any other 20' trucks or even 26' trucks in the local area, telling me the best that they could do is a 17' truck, and it's in Auburn. So, already upset, I drive back down to Auburn and find that the place I was told to pick up, Auburn Self Storage, is not open until 9. So I then stand around and wait, calling uhaul customer service who informs me that there's nothing they can do, I just have to wait. Finally someone shows up to open the place at 9, and we get going on the contract. By the time I rolled out of there, it was almost 9:30, two hours later than my scheduled pick up time!! And to top it all off the 17' truck was too small, like I knew it would be, hence the 20' original order, and I couldn't fit everything in one trip. All in all the absolute worst experience I've ever had with Uhaul.
Justis TenaThis 4425 Auburn Wy N location was fine and the lady working there was very helpful, but my experience with U-Haul was miserable. First, I showed up to pick up my truck at 9:00am and was told that my reservation was cancelled, but I was never contacted with this information. So the attendant contacted U-Haul to find me another truck, she was told that another location had a truck for me. I went to the second location and was told they wouldn't have a truck for me until 6:45pm that evening, which would not work. The attendant (also the owner) at the second location said he contacted the traffic department on his computer, but made no other effort to help me. He never got on the phone or anything, just sat and stared and his computer for 15 minutes until I left and went back to the original location, because they were kind enough to call me and let me know a truck had arrived that I could use. This experience and the poor customer service at the location at 5110 Frontage Rd NW was less than helpful and will be a big reason I avoid using U-Haul in the future.
Jesse JonesThe lady in the office gave me a horrible service while i was being nice and plite to her. She kept asking me contact my insurance and wanted me to purchace the coverge from her. And she even asked me to give her the receipt from gas station. Horrible experience and will never come back.
YI WENGHorrible customer service. I was told I had to pay for insurance at that location regardless. The truck had wiper arms that were bent to hold pressure instead of being replaced -so they were ineffective and unsafe in the rain. Horrible service I will not likely do buisness again with Uhaul
WILLIAM WEBERthe truck was scary to drive not maintained at all bad steering issues and almost no oil in it.. windshield wipers where broke as well. The lady that rented it to us was very nice.
Deva reedIf I were Uhaul I would not allow this location to represent me. The lady who runs this place is extremely rude and has no customer service skills. She was not there when I showed up at the time I had arranged to pick up the truck and then she got really rude when I told her I was unhappy about her being late. She all but called me a lair. If I ever need a truck again and you send me to this location I will find another company to rent from.
BRADLEY BOUMAI called the 800 number the guy screwed up my reservation info. The cab was filthy. I had to sweep the back out before I used it. The staff Auburn way was awesome!

IT TOOK ALMOST AN HOUR TO GET CHECKED OUT BECAUSE THE RUDE EMPLOYEE KEEPS TAKING PAYMENTS FROM PEOPLE WALKING IN FOR THEIR STORAGE UNIT, AND AND EVEN ASKED ME TO WAIT OUTSIDE WHILE SHE HELPED OTHERS CHECKING IN! WHEN I TRIED TO USE THE COFFEE MAKER, SHE SAYS' "ONE CUP PER CUSTOMER, THAT'S MY OWN MACHINE I BUY THE COFFEE MYSELF AND BRING IT FROM HOME!" MAYBE HAVE A COFFEE MAKER THAT'S THE EMPLOYEES IF IT SHOULD BE FOR CLIENTS WAITING 30 MINUTES TO GET CHECKED OUT! COMPLETELY HORRIBLE SERVICE, OBNOXIOUS WAIT TIME, AND COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER!

Mark ScappiniThere was a picture indicating what damages would cost what on the uhaul. At first i felt fine not getting the insurance but changed my mind. If I was shown this initially I would have not hesitated one bit. It might be helpful to show the picture while mentioning the insurance.
