2 buildings, no signage or instructions on where to drop keys. Had to walk around in dark

Everything was good UNTIL drop-off at Tar Heel in Murphy, NC. The agency was not open so I called the number on my invoice and spoke to a female representative. She stated that according to your records the site was supposed to be open and instructed me to leave the key and invoice in the drop box. I asked if I would be charged an extra day for being 15 minutes over and she assured that I would not be charged. Yesterday I received an email informing me that I was being charged for an extra day to the tune of $59.13. Needless to say I want to appeal this additional charge!

Nothing, We have used U-Haul and other rental companies several times over 40 years. Regina was the best experience we ever had. Very attentive and thorough. I will use them and recommend them every chance I get.

I asked to keep the Uhaul an extra day, but it had already been rented out to another customer even though it was not available on the lot. Upon returning the Uhaul at 5 PM on 8-30-19, I again asked if I could keep the truck as I was not finished moving. She told me someone was picking it up in the morning. I was then charged an extra day for the Uhaul. It is documented I returned it at 9:30 AM on 8-31-19. I could have used it overnight and actually returned it in the morning. At this point, I now have to rent another truck and pay another rental fee. I'm hoping I can find another company I can use. This is TERRIBLE service. I've used Uhaul twice and had bad experiences both times.

Truck windshield was filthy. Truck had a skip & not running properly (check engine light on). Truck had a very loud clunk in the front end & swayed going down the highway. It needs service. I informed the drop off location.

Facility would not let customers use the dumpster which would have been a helping factor for me to keep my locker. I use my storage for work and was a huge inconvenience to have to carry away garbage.

Total uhall scheduling aND pick up experience Was horrible. First location in montgomery al Was a total disaster. Could not anyone to Answer phone to verify a 15 foot truck. Called most of Friday 12/21. No answer. Called schedule phone #. Rescheduled at Herrods gas station prattville al for a 26 ft. Did not need this size, but was told only one Available. Arrived at Herrods and was advised The vehicle had not been returned and no One could be cintacted. Then was advised to go to uhall location on south hwy 31. Manager Called that location before I left her rods and verified he had a truck. Upon arriving at the south prattville location, I was adv used he Had no long hall vehicle. He contacted Uhall location on McQueen smith road and Advised us to go there. We finally rented A 20 ft truck there. If anyone actually read this, I do believe it is the most disturbing and disgusting experience anyone could have Been through. I will never use uhall or recommend uhall to anyone. I have rented uhall trucks for years and thousands of miles.

Boy am I glad I got this survey. Once I arrived at the location and walked in I was not acknowledged for at least 5 minutes before I was asked how can I help you. I literally had to call the office using a private number to distract the lady that was inside of the office on the computer. That’s when she asked can she help me. Other than that I would have still been standing there. There was no one else there to be assisted so it’s not like she was working with someone else. I am a Retail Sales Manager and know that’s not how you treat your customers work, especially if you want them to use your establishment again. I’m sure that this is just another survey that will not get any attention but I would never treat my customers the way I was treated there. Signed, I will not use this location again. Thanks but no thanks.

The original pick up location and time would have been much more convenient for me. UHaul changed both less than 24 hrs. before my move. I was not contacted prior to this change.

I did not reserve to pick up at this location. This location was not a "full service" UHaul dealer and did not have ANY accessories - - - including the furniture pads I had reserved. The very helpful manager went out of her way and tried her best to secure the pads from another location, but was not able to do so. I had to spend valuable time the following day going to another UHaul dealer to obtain packing pads. VERY dissatisfied with this. UHaul wasted my time and money. And please note: My dissatisfaction is with UHaul - - - NOT the local dealer they foisted me off upon.

No one checked the auto transport tires. I had a flat in a tire that wasn't fixed before I picked it up.

The equipment was clean however there was a problem with the chain. And once we got to or destination there was a problem with the tote rope. It was stuck in latch. Apparently the last user replaced it incorrectly. So please make sure everything is working properly once returned or prior to rental.

I could not find the location for drop off according to the address. I dropped the truck at a location with an after hours key drop box. I received a call the next day asking if I was going to drop off the truck. I explained there was no such location, they explained they would have to check it out. The next thing I received was a receipt. Again the customer was left to figure out things for your company. More notifications and contact follow up would be great

Trailer was nasty with dirt and bugs all in it. Had to spend nearly half an hour cleaning it before we could even use it. Also, after renting another uhaul from another store yesterday I can definitely say that this trailer rides terribly and is not a "smooth ride" as advertised. Very old equipment and poor upkeep.

Simply Bad: 1. Owners were 30 minutes late for rental appointment (and their posted hours) and delayed me picking up the truck by over 45 min. 2. Information that I provided and requested (moving blankets) on line was not ready at pick up. 3. Bill was incorrect, mileage and amount of blankets returned (12) exceeded the number they recorded they rented me (6). Overall, a disappointing experience and I will not recommend this to anyone. U-Haul did not live up to its promises.

When I first went to get my rental it was not available. I was told by the person working when I asked what I was supposed to do about my guaranteed rental not being available I was advised to call 1800 uhual. That's it. When making the reservations it was guaranteed to be ready at 10am. It was not available until 10:30. I had already driven off at the point the rental was available. The store number is 41768. I was not happy about having to turn around and coming back after being told rental was not ready and then it was ready.

Agent had no idea I was coming. Complained that truck shouldn't have been rented. Picked up truck at 3 pm and was told I HAD to return it by 9am next day. Went to return truck and no one was there until 9:15. When finally arrived, agent had horrible attitude, said at least four time how horrible uhaul is and how they just don't care. Even told me they only get 10% of total sale so they only made five bucks off me!!
