Lisa MoricoliThe online pick up is a NIGHTMARE! It never works! This is my 3rd time renting from you in the last 2 years. I ALWAYS have to call to get someone to help. Either your site is down or takes forever to load and then sends you to the wrong page! The person on the phone is helpful, but when it takes 45 minutes longer then expected, it can be stressful if you are supposed to meet people to help you move. This has happened every time. I show up early too! This time you did not have the truck I order so you had to give me a bigger one. This truck was filthy! At least it had gas though. The last truck I rented from you barely had gas enough to get to a station! Returning the truck is ridiculous as well. The website is terrible and slow! Also the instructions at the place say to one thing but your web site says something else! Get it together!
Laura MorserThe vehicle was filthy and the windshield was so covered in bugs and wiper streaks that I could barely see when other cars headlights shined on it. As soon as I arrived home, I washed the cab of the truck and thoroughly cleaned the windshield and mirrors. Also, I ordered furniture blankets and a dolly for the move. none of the items were in the truck. I documented the missing items at pickup and drop-off. The blankets were removed from my final bill, but the $7 dolly charge remained. Overall, I like the app for pickup and drop-off, as it greatly extends access to the vehicles.

I understand that the "required" use of a smartphone is supposed to help streamline things, but I would rather rent a U-haul from a human person than from my own phone. Over-all, very poor customer service from both Auto Body Unlimited and from U-haul.
Sean QuandtWhen we arrived, the items we requested were not in the truck. The owner of the shop was unhelpful and the check-in process took nearly an hour of our precious time. The return was nearly just as bad, as the app had many problems and kept refreshing. The whole process has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I might not ever rent a uhual again.

BRADLEY WINNERI wasn't supposed to go here. I made a reservation at another location. And waiting for my scheduled appointment. When I arrived, they wanted me to go somewhere 40 minutes away to pick up the truck. I explained that wouldn't work and that I just need any box truck to do some local driving today. They helped. But there was no compensation offered on my reservation.

JIAYUN ZHANGYour website still shows a location in Moorpark, CA (a tire store) that apparently has never been, and is still not a U-Haul location. Because I live in Moorpark, I tried to reserve a truck at that location. I even contacted the owner, who was furious with U-Haul for listing him as a U-Haul location, when he has never been one.
CHARLES GUYHorrible experience. The location was supposed to open at 8am they opened late. The guy had no idea how to deliver the truck and we had to wait for someone else to arrive which took 2 hours which we were paying someone hourly labor and as a result we had to hire them for the next say to finish the job. We paid labor to men waiting forever the truck. Wasted our time and money.
JOSE ORTIZDURANThough I requested an equipment dolly and was charged for it, there wasn't one when I picked up the truck. I'd requested check out service with a counter agent, but when we arrived, the shop was closed. I called the owner and he was rude, telling me I needed to check in on my phone. We had no recourse and no assistance for the issues, and it made our moving job a lot harder.

FRANK WISSELI was called early in the morning before I was out of bed to be told that my confirmed reservation for a van rental was not available. She said that there was a van available in another location and would I take it. I said yes. There was no alternative for me Then another call from the the man at the other location and asked me to come immedeatly as he had another obligation to go to. He finally said he would meet me there in about 40 minutes. Not Too Happy with this happening early in the morning of the day scheduled to pickup at the U-Haul location.

Ariel GarciaWe had a major problem with our reserved trailer at the AGOURA HILLS location. We experienced what I would call BAIT and SWITCH This location in Simi Valley saved the day. And also our family reunion in Utah! Extremely helpful and extremely nice. They had the size we wanted and it was ready to go when we drove out to get it. I would use this location again with no worries. I will NEVER use the AGOURA HILLS location I will not recommend AGOURA HILLS to anyone. EVER
