Made the work done by Customer to rent a $29,99 vehicle cost customer 3 times that in time hassle. If this is the way UHaul is continuing to go I fear for the business.

RAMZI JERIESThis was behind a locked gate. No instructions were provided before I got there. I specifically chose a place where I wouldn't have to do the mobile check in. Yiu switched my pick up to a further and less convenient place. Not happy at all.
JUSTIN PARADISOFirst i was called and asked to switch to a different location down the street from the original site. No problem things happen. On the day of pick up the location is not properly signed and difficult to locate and access off a busy highway. Then trying to find the actual office was even harder to locate and the site is unkempt and dirty. I'm then told where the office is and it's locked. i called the number and am told in a rather rude and disrespectful manner it's only online pick up which i was not told at all at any point. So I finally figure it out and am in the truck at about 1115am but being charged from 1030am. The truck has a bad odour and small stickers over the body which i'm guessing is denoting previous damage so i take pictures of it. So now i'm running late but have to get the truck back by 230pm. I finish and return it with a full tank of gas by 2pm and complete the online return. There is no designated parking for u-haul vans so i park it where it was when i attended in the morning. Locked it returned the keys and locked the key box. Funny enough as i pass by the original location i was to pick it up they had 2 uhaul vans sitting in the parking lot. I won't be renting from here again.
francesca guccione dicksonI specifically picked this location because there would be attendants present. When I arrived there was no one there and the door locked. I contact 1-800 uhaul and they walked me through a mobile pick up. This location should be changed to mobile pick up only if there will not be attendants present.

David McmanusThis location is a complete shit hole (please excuse the language - I just don't know how else to describe it). I would not pick up a truck ever again. I worked as a Training and Communications Manager with Hertz for a decade and I would have been abhorred to send a client to a location half as bad as that one. Totally pathetic! I didn't even want to pick it up here - the reservation was inconveniently changed for me. To top it off, they changed my reservation from a 15-foot truck to a 10-foot truck which was totally useless for what I needed it for. I had to make 2 trips, double the time needed to make the move, double the fuel expense and I was charged an additional $100 on return for extra mileage!! I am very unhappy with the whole experience. I really need a district manager to call me to discuss this. Since it's Uhaul however, I will it hold my breath.

Clayton CoulasU-Haul did have some dirt inside. For the future, there is no reason that U-Haul couldn't collect the pick-up information such as drivers license pictures, the phone numbers of other people, etc. to expedite the pick-up process. That information could be collected with the reservation. I also take issue with the fact that the vehicle size I wanted was not available at my preferred location despite reserving the U-Haul several weeks in advance. What if we couldn't have gotten to Bolton to get the U-Haul? There's a reason we wanted to pick the vehicle in our own community, not a town 30 minutes away. Coordination with U-Haul representatives was poor and often conflicted with the information we had. I also had a dolly as part of my order and it wasn't in the U-Haul when we picked it up.

ADAM RAMPERSADI used the mobile pick up and when trying to return it, it kept telling me it could not process the payment. The location I dropped it off to was closed, so I called customer service and the only solution they gave me was to let the location process the return the following day and I would be charged an extra $20 for them having to do that.

Called the number provided on the office door and was told to call him back in 10min before I could ask my questions. I didn't bother as I was in a hurry.

Ann vivian WycocoWhile I eventually got the van going and it worked out really well, the code didn't work at first and I had to call the helpline (they were very helpful) to get the lock open that stored the keys. I had rented a wheely cart thing (no idea of the real name) and it wasn't there. I called after the rental was over to let them know that I never got it, and they said it would be taken off the bill. Low and behold, when I got the bill a few weeks later, the $7 charge was on there. I didn't complain and just took it as it didn't work to try and get it off my bill once, not sure why it would work a second time. Again, I was very pleased with the van itself and everything went smooth except the code for the keys, which added about 15 minutes to the time, and the additional charge. I hope this helps. To be clear, I will use this service again but I will not recommend it as my word is on the line and I can't trust that this will be executed properly. Comically, I'm also very aware that this message won't even reach someone who cares that much but I thought I'd write it all the same. Have a wonderful day!

I wasted an hour trying to figure on why I could not pickup my vehicle contactless only to be told that system issues exist on the application. this should have been made known to customers instead of wasting time troubleshooting U-Haul application flaws.
