U-Haul did have some dirt inside. For the future, there is no reason that U-Haul couldn't collect the pick-up information such as drivers license pictures, the phone numbers of other people, etc. to expedite the pick-up process. That information could be collected with the reservation. I also take issue with the fact that the vehicle size I wanted was not available at my preferred location despite reserving the U-Haul several weeks in advance. What if we couldn't have gotten to Bolton to get the U-Haul? There's a reason we wanted to pick the vehicle in our own community, not a town 30 minutes away. Coordination with U-Haul representatives was poor and often conflicted with the information we had. I also had a dolly as part of my order and it wasn't in the U-Haul when we picked it up.Brandon S.
The drop off gentleman told me to get there before 6, I showed up at 5:30 and he was not there, the parking lot was a mud pit, he did answer the phone when I calledADAM R.
I used the mobile pick up and when trying to return it, it kept telling me it could not process the payment. The location I dropped it off to was closed, so I called customer service and the only solution they gave me was to let the location process the return the following day and I would be charged an extra $20 for them having to do that.Corinna M.

It's located conveniently on Hwy 50 but when we were there returning the truck around 4pm no one was there, and seems the location was supposed to be open till 6. Called the number provided on the office door and was told to call him back in 10min before I could ask my questions. I didn't bother as I was in a hurry.YINGHUI Z.

While I eventually got the van going and it worked out really well, the code didn't work at first and I had to call the helpline (they were very helpful) to get the lock open that stored the keys. I had rented a wheely cart thing (no idea of the real name) and it wasn't there. I called after the rental was over to let them know that I never got it, and they said it would be taken off the bill. Low and behold, when I got the bill a few weeks later, the $7 charge was on there. I didn't complain and just took it as it didn't work to try and get it off my bill once, not sure why it would work a second time. Again, I was very pleased with the van itself and everything went smooth except the code for the keys, which added about 15 minutes to the time, and the additional charge. I hope this helps. To be clear, I will use this service again but I will not recommend it as my word is on the line and I can't trust that this will be executed properly. Comically, I'm also very aware that this message won't even reach someone who cares that much but I thought I'd write it all the same. Have a wonderful day!Simon W.

Enhancements need to be made with the U-Haul application on Android based phones. I wasted an hour trying to figure on why I could not pickup my vehicle contactless only to be told that system issues exist on the application. this should have been made known to customers instead of wasting time troubleshooting U-Haul application flaws.remo I.

Charged $179,22 for a 4,5hr rental of 64,2 miles for a 15 foot truck, when I should have been charged $103,1 plus HST of $13,4 for a total of $116,5 not $179.22. I am expecting a $62,71 refund. Plus I added $25 of gas for a grand total of $204,22 very expensive move for 1 table and six chairs and couple of chandeliers. MerciLuke U.
I am really upset that I was sent to 3 different locations to drop off my rental with no communication whether these dealers were open, had space or was even expecting me. The first place I was sent to was not even open. The second place I was sent to had one parking spot and was not available for a drop off. The third place I was sent to didn't even know I was coming .. This experience was extremely disappointing as I wasted half a day trying to return a truck rental with no communication from the call center to locations .. Totally didn't expect this from a company that's been around for some time now ...Shawn D.

I didn't get what I ordered and had to drive over an hour out of my house to pick a open trailer up when I ordered a enclosed trailer and confirmed everything including the location the day before pick up. They did not tell me it had to be back at a time just by the next day so when I went to drop it off they wanted to charge me more even though I spent more money on gas picking the thing upjennifer S.

They just cheat me . They lied to me about fuel and charge me more 15$. The guy was so rude. When he pull out my truck he just hit the other trucks bumper. He doesn't even know how to drive. Bad customer service. And get more money from the people. He just fraud me.... don't go that location. They can charge you with everything and get more money from you. When I returned my rental . I returned around 3,3pm store supposed to be close at 6 pm and nobody was over there. He just accept my return next morning . How can I make sure he didn't drive or just keep engine running for get more money. How can 15 foot truck spend 50$ gas for 140 km mileage. I am done with U-Haul. Location was very thrown together and disorginized , washroom was the dirtiest thing I've ever seen, the guy who worked there called me 4 hours after renting the trailer demanding an answer of when it would be return because he had another customer there who wished to rent the same trailer. Not a good experience! He kept charging my credit card and also wanted me to pay $138 when I dropped the trailer off. So I'm out of pocket $280 for two days of a car carrier trailer!Andy C.

This location is poorly identified; I have passed by this location for years, and didn't know it was a Uhaul location. Yard is poorly organized, with vehicles scattered all over. Narrow driveway. Helpful people, but I don't know if some even worked there; no uniforms.John H.
It should have been clear from the onset that this location is only mobile check-in. I spent more about an hour to check in and drive off with the van because I wasn't aware of the self-serve process.Joel U.

Returning was painful you need to keep on top of the locations and a better map of where they are, very difficult to find I didn't see any signs near the road and the one on the building was very smallRobert S.
Get rid of this location or hire new staff. I was yelled at, refused, belittled, and he did not know â€˜how' to use his computer. He did not want to refund my cash deposit etc etc. I can go on and on but he used 2,5 hours of my time fighting me and the uhaul lady that was trying to help over the phone- michelle. As well as walking in and out of the office because it â€œis not his main job. He's a dealer and uhaul is not his problem. He needs to tend to his actual customers.â€ Get rid of it.Holly T.

Experienced delayed brake surge with the trailer throughout the trip. I stopped at another u-haul along the way and they could not find the problem. This resulted in anxiety and frustration along the way. Waiting hours for a technician was not an option for me. I told the u haul folks at the drop off location to not let this trailer go without taking a look at the problem as this would cause worry and concern for the next person that rents this. Just glad to have this trailer off my truck. Thanks Jeanjean F.
