Hard to think of any needed improvements. This is 2nd time I used this location and the experience was efficient and convenient. I will continue to visit this specific Uhaul site. One item is being asked again to buy insurance after I had already accepted during my pre order. I am leery of last moment upsales now I am leery of the Uhaul insurance.James W.

The pickup and drop off were very fast and efficient. The location's service was extremely helpful. They had the needed trailer and hitch in stock. I was connected and ready to go in no more than about 15 minutes . (Note that I did use early checkin the best I could.)James W.
There was a little difficulty understanding how to get the key to the vehicle while using the app. The friendly representative at the local location was able to help me, and it worked it. It was mainly my own confusion and not their problem. My main issue is that the van I rented had absolutely no fuel in it. The gas gauge was on Empty, and the light was on indicating that it was almost out. I had to leave the rental place, and immediately add fuel to the truck before going to my client's. This put me behind schedule, and also meant that I had to spend more on fuel that I had anticipated.. since the contract states I have to return the vehicle with at least 1/4 a tank, or be charged 30 $dollars.Christopher C.

The bed of the truck was already a bit dirty as well as muddy when I received it. However, the service was fast and efficient, and availability of self-service and over night drop off was a plus. I just want to write & say how everyone was super helpful, nice & professional, despite working under a tent during slightly inclement weather. His pc was working a little slower than usual but he was extremely apologetic during my wait and made small-talk so it was bearable for both parties. I'd def recommend despite the remodeling & slower process. Also BIG up to Alisha from your Hickory Grove Location for helping me out when I was about to drop-off at the wrong location. First of all I checked in online to skip, personal interaction. There was a team of 2 people who approached my vehicle, NOT wearing masks, asked me all the questions I had filled out online, and when I kept my window rolled up most of the way because she was not wearing a mask, she told the man â€œyou will get a lot of thatâ€. They were disrespectful in not wearing a mask, making the comment stated above and it was very frustrating to take the time to skip the line and still had to! The area was poorly maintained and the cab of the truck was dirty. Overall was VERY disappointed in my experience!AUDREY K.
I picked the truck up at 1/4 tank and left it before they closed for the day with a little more than a 1/4 tank of gas but I get an extra 62 dollars billed to my card with an invoice for gas. When I tried to call them and ask they responded the first time asking for some time and when I called 5 hours later they stopped answering!!!JASHWANTH L.

I scheduled my pickup truck after hours, 8 pm. There's was no one at the site to assist with any issues or challenges while checking in online. I spent almost 2 hours completing the online transaction to get the key and finally be on my way. I was crying with frustration because the U-haul system was not capturing my picture ID correctly. The camera scanner was not working. I tried several times unsuccessfully and had to start all over again from the top entering all my information. Finally I called for support but the agent was a bit frustrated with me as well. Finally got all the procedure done and when I was about to leave found out that all the additional equipment I have rented was not in the truck, was forgotten by whomever needed to put it in the truck. Then someone called me saying they will deliver the equipment to my home, which they did shortly afterward. My overall experience was frustrating and stressful. The returning part was easy though. The location on Independence Blvd is awkward to get in & out of at highway speeds. I found that trying to come to an abrupt stop from 55 MPH, or trying to "gun it" just to get a Uhaul tow trailer up to speed, to be difficult out of their narrow gravel driveway.Craig F.

This location is unsafe and disgusting, an old restaurant building with a busted up driveway. Very gross and disappointing. Attendant was onsite and did not help us with mobile check in. Key was not in proper numbered box. Worst Uhaul experience ever and I have used Uhaul on two or three other occasions this month. Really would like a refund. I have photos of the location if you need them. Uhaul shoukd vet its operators more thoroughly.Mark K.

I am a repeat customer to this Uhaul location due the amazing customer service provided there. Last time, I couldn't back the trailer into my long and narrow driveway. Frank came to my house and manually pushed the trailer into my drive then hooked it to my car. This time he brought the trailer to me! Can you believe that? Then he positioned it in my drive for easy packing and connected it to my car. Too bad I am leaving Charlotte (thus the need for the trailers) as I would definitely use this site again. I highly recommend it to others. Please overlook the less than usual setting. The people are knowledgable, kind, and extraordinarily helpful.mary T.

1st. He was letting a customer drive out with the parking brake on. I'm disabled and I had to catch them b4 leaving explaining the problem. Secondly, clearance light out and he straight-up lied to me and said they don't replace the tpms sensors so you have a light on the dash telling you the tire is flat.
