The truck share app and online experience was horrible. I first tried picking up my rental with the app and it would not accept any pictures (lighting, no hat, no glasses). I then called customer service and they said the app is garbage and to use Google chrome. Website would then have difficulty finding my location. Once that was sorted out I was able to complete the rest of the information portion of picking up my rental. It then said awaiting approval for 20min before I called customer service a second time! She kept apologizing for the slow computers. I eventually was able to leave with my rental an hour after I had arrived to pick it up. I am never using that service again. When I returned the truck the store was still open and I did not want the headache of attempting to return using the same system. I brought my keys in and staff at that location were helpful.

Was required to wait while “U-Haul person” got back from a secondary business test drive. Not a long wait but still? Promised “confirmed” 2 dozen shipping blankets were not available, resulting in loading issues. Not very convenient!

I rented dozen furniture pads and there were only 6 in truck and they still charged me full amount, also we put in gas when we returned and they charged us $30.00 gas fee. I was not satisfied with this service.

When the trailer I wanted was not available for three days from the first location I contacted, someone from scheduling was supposed to check other locations and call me. I did not receive a call so tracked down a trailer myself.

Unit was not swept clean. As well we were charged for a furniture dolly that we never received. To top that off we booked unit to go from Edmonton to entwistle and was charged extra mileage when we were supposed to get 77mi.

We had to travel over mountain passes and the truck plate was from Arizona and it had summer tires on it we luckily didn’t hit any snow or our time trip would have been a disaster

I reserved a 4 x 8 trailer and when I went to pick it up they had given us a 6 x 12. I wasn’t there to receive it, my buddy had to pick it up so I wasn’t aware of the change until the trailer arrived at my house. I then had to leave right away so I didn’t have time to go and get the proper trailer. This trailer burned way to much gas and was way bigger than I needed

Gas guage. I was required to return the van at or slightly above 1/2 tank. Your records will show I put only 76 Km on the vehicle. While filling the tank I checked regularly for the gas guage to rise. It just would not touch 1/2 tank. After $30 in $10 intervals the gas pump signed me off and printed the reciept. I drove around the gas station to see if the needle would move - no. I stopped again and put another $10. As you can see from the reciept the guage suddenly jumped to almost 3/4. How do you think I felt? I mentioned it at East Coast Autozone - she said she would note it in her report.

Consider having U haul materials to purchase at the pick up location and provide a copy of the billing electronically. Full invoice from pick up, what was paid and amt owing upon return as provided. Just easier to maintain e-reciepts than paper for tax purposes. Thanks for the great service!

Van was reserved through the 1-800 number which resulted in a number of problems: Vehicle was located at an inconvenient location resulting in extra kilometers. Vehicle had to be returned to that location which was not communicated to me at time of reservation. Blankets and dolly were not available at the pick up location and had to be picked up at another location resulting in extra kilometers and time. The $15/day insurance cost was not communicated at the time of the reservation. Gas tank was 1/2 full instead of full so was difficult to judge when filling and resulted in us putting in more gas than when we picked it up. The poor ratings above are due to the fact that the location was completely inconvenient. Customer service there was excellent. I would not use U-Haul again because of the difficulties I experienced. when we topped up, the gas the guage wasn't moving and we ended up putting too much in...no refund was offered. Perhaps all tanks should start full to avoid this problem. Thanks Lee-Anne Benedict

We stood around for over 1.5 hrs waiting to get served after having the unit scheduled and confirmed. One wheel came loose less than one hour on the highway and I had to stop and have it tightened. The right hand tail light fell out while in route. Luckily I had enough supplies with me that I was able to repair it during a stop. Finally I thought it was totally inappropriate how the dealer's receptionist was complaining about central booking and traffic control. I am sssuming these are divisions of UHaul. I believe UHaul has a lot to offer the public but If I had to deal with this representative again I would think long and hard about it.

You guys sent me to a dealer that was about 30 minutes away from me. And also what is the deal with having us put about half a tank of gas. You know for sure that no one will land directly on the half mark. That's ripping people off. Very bad for your company. Chris
