The truck we rented had damage and yall tried to charge us for it. I am not ok with that

Charles BSecond time we have used this same location and the equipment was UNSAFE. The first time being the employee assisting with an incorrect ball on the hitch. Had this came apart it could have been catastrophic. The second time the truck had absolutely no heat or defrost. The dials almost seemed to be glued to the point it would not turn at all.

Amanda CThe place where I rented my trailer was not the issue. He's courteous and works in a timely manner. However U Haul sent me a bill for toll usage which I have no problem paying. The problem is I contacted U Haul and requested the documentation proving that there was in fact a toll and asked them to NOT take funds out of my account before providing documentation. You guessed it Corporate U Haul can't follow and respect a simple request and just helped themselves to funds without providing any proof or paper trail that this occurred. Then when trying to contact them it's impossible to get a good e mail OR for them to pick up the phone. I doubt this will go anywhere for anyone to see because the corporate folks are low integrity… they have no right to deduct funds without: 1. My permission and 2. Without proving there were tolls!! No wonder Penske and every other moving company is kicking their corporate behinds!! Enjoy your money because we're done with U Haul.

Michael PThe individual did not properly view the towing equipment I had on my vehicle. After connecting the trailer, checking the lights they sent me on my way. After further inspection I realized the wrong ball size was attached to my hitch which was causing a lot of movement with the trailer. This was very unsafe and could have potentially been deadly if the trailer came off the ball.
KEVIN GI used the truck just 5 hours and the price was very high. I paid $115 for it. I always thought that uhal had accessible prices, but I was chocked when the store attendant told me the price.

MARK IThe trailer had debris and broken glass in it and the wiring harness had exposed wire that was just twisted together. I declined the insurance on my reservation, but the manager enrolled and charged me without telling me. Double check your receipt

Will CI reserved the UHaul truck from another vendor but I did not receive an email to let me know that they did not carry the 10 inch truck. I was not expecting to drive that far our of my way as I could have used another vendor closer to me.

Joseph MIt said on the inside of the u-haul box that if we sweep and fold the blankets we would get $25. back when I mentioned it I was laughed at and they said no and I would have to talk to someone that wasn’t there at the time.
blas lPick-up scheduled for noon and location open/staffed until noon. Arrived at 1130a. No staff. Had rented moving blankets along with truck. No blankets and no staff to correct the no blankets. Uhaul number acknowledged the issue but could not replace the blankets. Ended up making do without blankets. Two arm chairs were damaged when furniture shifted. Would not have been damaged if we had the blankets.

Archibald CThe ramp had a lot of broken glass on it when first taken out. There was an old cookie smashed on the passenger side floor. The dashboard had crumbs and dirt on it. This vehicle was by far the worst I have ever had. It was not cleaned at all. I called in to report and nothing happened.
Xavier JLets not mentioned that I had to go to 2 different locations to pick up a truck because the 1st location that I had a reservation for did not have one available neither did the 2nd 1 that I was sent to will finally the 3rd 1 had it and I was upgraded to a 20' truck instead of a 15. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I SHOULD RECEIVE MY $50 RESERVATION GUARANTEE!! I will never rent from UHaul again. This was the worst experience EVER!! To top this off I called numerous times to make sure that my reservation was set and then I arrive to the 1st location Sequoia motors to find out they don't have any available unavailable she graciously sent me to another location that said they had one available and he told me no then I finally get to the 3rd location which is the 1 I originally wanted to book from because it was 1,5 miles from my house and thankfully he had 1. Unbelievable experience and I should be compensated for this do this due to the issues that occurred from day one.
