The truck was filthy. The U-Haul representative said it was returned dirty and was not cleaned. The excuse given was that she was on vacation and that someone else was working and that individual did not charge the previous renters a cleaning fee, so it did not get cleaned. She brought out some windex and wiped down the seats. I had to get Clorox wipes and try and clean it myself. The former renter had spilled coffee all over the bed of the truck which had dried and become sticky. The seat belt was covered in coffee stains. I would not have taken the truck other than there was no other equipment available at any location. The cabin wreaked of smell, and I had to do what I could to cover the smell for the three and half hour drive to Tuscaloosa. Will consider other companies on next trip.

I paid 4.35 for a mattress bag that I had never received and the manager said that she did not have one at her location and she wanted me to drive to a different location to get one and I could not so I lost 4.35.

i am very upset because i rented a uhaul from beltline 2 times and they charged us for a dolly that we didnt even use. we had our dolly and i called them a number of times to fix this problem and noone ever called me back

Every time I rent a truck they change the location and nobody notifies me. This location was less convenient and the employee while very nice had to keep calling someone for instructions.

The employee (a woman) was very friendly and helpful. I was impressed with how clean the truck was and how easy it was to drive. This was my first experience renting and driving a U-Haul vehicle. I would recommend this place of business to my friends.

First and foremost the representative lied to me on phone after I went over several times explaining what size what kind of truck I was looking for I went so as to tell all plans and details.Only to get there under false pretenses.I asked if they had a regular pick-up truck she said yes we do I then told her I am just trying to pick up a washer machine I do not need a regular uhaul. I got there they had one was what I asked for neither what I expected.I explain the mileage was two over before I ever left the parking lot.Then the gas gage has a delate to I put gas in the truck only to be charged twenty one dollars I will never use this particular site again .If am in need of a truck will take my business elsewhere.This was the worst experience never.

we were to pick the truck up at noon. We arrived a little early and waited for the lady to come. she had posted a not that she would be back shortly had gone to pick up lunch. She did finally return about 30 minutes late. On the paper work she misstated the amount of gas in the truck and my son called it to her attention and she redid that otherwise we would have been responsible for more gas. I don't know if that is common practice or if she was just trying to get was to buy more gas.

Truck cab floor had sand in the floor crevices - passenger and drivers side. Truck bed and lower walls was greasy looking and smelled.

If the office at which the vehicle is scheduled does not open at 7:00 a.m., the vehicle should not be allowed to be reserved at 7:00 a.m. I had to wait over an hour to pick up the truck even though my reservation was for 7:00 a.m.

On 5/14/2014 I rented a u-haul trailer (contract number (24726695) from Available Self Storage 59 Sidney Drive Mobile, AL. They did not notify me that my car was unable to pull trailer because I did not have the proper wiring. That same day I went to U-Haul Moving & Storage at Beltine 200 W I65 Service Rd S Mobile, AL where they installed wiring on my 2008 Jeep Liberty in order for the lights to work on the 6X12 trailer (Part Code 14493 contract number 93637665). When I picked up my car they hooked the trailer on tested the lighting and it worked just fine. I left on the 16th (lights still working) to move to Colorado. Half way across the country on the trip the lights stopped working on the trailer. When I called and had it looked at the fuse in the box from the wiring connected to the battery had blown, so I replaced it and continued. Five minutes later it blew again, I kept replacing it, it would blow but I was in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma by myself with a Jeep and a trailer and had to get myself to Colorado. I drove the rest of the way without lights, felt very unsafe, was pulled over and it was a horrible experience. When I reached U-Haul South College Ave in Fort Collins, CO the men there looked at my car for me and immediately knew the wiring had been installed wrong. They were extremely helpful and friendly and wrote me a note from the Manager Thomas Perkins (722086) stating what was wrong with the wiring. He determined that the power wire was way too loose causing the wire to ground itself into the exhaust blowing the power fuse. I have all my receipts, my notes, his note and the originally paperwork from the rental. As I stated the workers were great and helpful however this incorrect installation of the wiring put me in a very dangerous situation where I could have been hurt or injured others. I was stressed and terrified the entire drive, also in a very dangerous situation every time I had to pull over and check engine by myself as a young women on the side of the road. My goal is to notify U-Haul of the situation in order to ensure proper installation of such things on cars moving forward to keep people safe. But also hope to be compensated or reimbursed for some or all of the cost of the wiring and/or U-Haul rental for all my trouble. Had 4 dozen pads reserved. They had non on site. I asked the lady in the office to find it at another location. It took her 45 min to find it somewhere else. I had tiki pick it up with the truck and start another transaction. Not happy with the uhaul and the local uhaul neither.

Easiest part of my UHAUL experience. EXCEPT the lady I spoke to over the phone DIDNT add miles to my reservation like she said they would, and I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to figure out why the DISTRICT MANAGER lied to me about adding miles to my account. BULLSHIT ALL AROUND.

You all need to better explain the hidden fees atached to your rentals. if a customer rents a vehicle for 29.99 + $.89 per mile. gives $100 deposit how is it that I owed an extra $5.74. I put the truck fuel exactly where it was when I purchased the rental. Something just doesn't sound rite. I've rented local Uhauls before and it didn't cost that much and I drove even further.

Although my experience at this location was fine I had 4 hrs of trouble with Uhaul before I got there and will NEVER, NEVER use uhaul again. The people at the Sidney Phillips location were great but seem to be the minority. I wish I could have talked to someone about it but there doesn't seem to be any way to contact anyone who cares.

This was not the pickup location I requested. I feel this location "cherry picked" me from a reservations list and called me first to confirm and get me to commit. I didn't recognize the address was wrong until much later. I do not want my pickup location preference to be ignored again.

Make sure the equipment is not faulty when rented. The windshield wiper did not work correctly and it rained while i was on the road.I was not asked if needed additional equipment so I had to go to a different U-Haul location. My time was wasted.

This location was 20 miles away from the house I would be loading the truck at. I could have reached 10 other UHaul locations before arriving at this location. Also, this location did not have the rentable items that I had requested in my reservation. Also, this location had my reservation on her computer, but still had to ask for my destination.
