Terrible 2 experiences with an owner who has no customer service skills (or appreciation). First time... we rented a uhaul online in November... and showed up at the right date/time/location to no truck... was rudely told uhaul corporate systems are difficult and we'd need to go to another location several miles away to get the truck we reserved. Second time... rented a uhaul today for an hour to move Christmas decorations to a storage unit. He was rude about uhaul corporate being firm on price when I inquired about a discount... and was downright nasty about "parking in front of the bay doors" for literally 5 minutes BECAUSE HE COULDN'T PULL HIS OWN CAR BACK IN THERE TO KEEP WATCHING FOOTBALL ON A SUNDAY! I was overly pleasant and understanding... for awhile before telling him exactly what i think. Maybe he's an amazing mechanic,.. maybe he have other stressors in his life...but I'd literally drive across the country to avoid having to interact with him ever again. So much for montana values and customer service prioritization.

I told the person I talked to on the phone that I needed to move a refrigerator. When I went to pick up the refrigerator the truck was not tall enough to stand it up. I was not happy.

Kirk was great. Very helpful. I had signed up for 24/7 pickup but didn't realize I had to go to my I haul and get the code. I thought you would just text it to me, not clear. Luckily he was there.

We returned the truck the day before rental was up and arrived at location and there is no key drop box or a slot in the door at all. I called the number on the door and also texted with no answer. So I kept the keys on myself and contacted uhaul via phone to let them know. The next evening I get a very rude call from this uhaul guy from this location wanting the keys. I said I would bring them tomorrow ( which I lived 45 minutes away on a Sunday night) and he wanted them now. I told him there was no drop box and I wasn't just leaving keys for anyone to steal. He emplied i was lieing and I could leave them in the mailbox or slot in door ( which there isn't one). I will never rent or return to this location again for sure. How hard is it to have a key drop box? Problem could be fixed very easily. Very very rude guy and he should not be dealing with the public for sure. STAY AWAY from this location no matter what. I will NEVER do business with this location again and I suggest you don't either. You've been warned. Worst experience I've ever had in my 30 years of renting.

It was a bumpy start from the get go, and that was not the location's fault. However, the very moldy furniture pads that he had kept in an old storage container was all on him. I called the number for the U-Haul agent that was in the window of the facility when no one was at the site upon our arrival, so I kept his number. Glad I did, because I called him when it came time to unfold the furniture pads, only to find them stiff and sealed shut with mold *yikes!* I was not about to use those on my family heirloom furniture! The van did not have all the dings indicated, and so we asked him to mark a few more, he seemed perturbed by our request. He took a long time getting us set up, and he did not seem familiar with the software. All in all, not a good experience.

The back rear tire was obviously bald when we got truck, he said he was just a drop off location and nothing he could do. Got a flat tire on our trip. Road assistance was terrible!!!

The day we returned the car trailer, the man at the location was very rude. I told him I was there to return the trailer. After several minutes of silence he asked if I had unhooked the car. I have survived cancer, so I'm pretty tough, but I'm not going to crawl around and try to unhook a car from a trailer. I said no I haven't. Again, silence. Then he said, are you going to? I said, well I need some help. He let out a heavy sigh, then went to grab his gloves and headed outside. I watched him unhook my car and thought, there's no way I would know how to do that. Plus, isn't that part of the service I paid for? When the car was off the trailer, I asked if I could leave the car there while we took the truck to unload. He said, I guess. I asked where I should park. He was very curt and said let me just deal with this trailer, then I'll figure out where to put your car. The next day when we returned the truck, he was nicer but he was still grumpy. I think that might just be his personality but it wasn't very pleasant to deal with after the frenzy of moving and driving 1500 miles. I won't use this location again.

The guy couldn't produce me a receipt because he said the U-haul web portal was not working correctly. I never got a final receipt and he told me I was a day late when I had made arrangements to deliver it one day later than originally planned because of the long wait on pick up and the flat tires.

It was an auto repair place mainly, with a little U-Haul work on the side. But the guy was great and made returning the truck super easy. Exactly the opposite experience as picking it up.

The computer system was down and the person working didn't seem to be the one that handles the U-haul side of it. Overall the experience was smooth but I wasn't exactly sure/clear that everything that needed to be done was.

Truck was only U-Haul equipment on the lot, which was a 2nd rate auto repair place. I was deferred there when the store I reserved the truck weeks prior did not have the truck there at the pick-up time. This was a 1 300 mile move. Truck had no a/c or cruise control. Transmission slipped and I had to fill with fluid in Idaho since it was empty. I was pulled over both in Idaho and CA since there were no license plates anywhere on the truck. The truck broke down in traffic in CA with all dash lights and buzzers going off, and, never did go off. The Roadside assistance staff and staff at both dropoff locations were fantastic in helping me out. With a full load I was fortunate on this trip due to driving a safety hazard vehicle.
