The truck was very very dirty and smelled like cigarettes. The trunk was acceptable but the driver and the passenger was nasty and unhealthy. I had to spend my personal time to clean it.

I am still waiting to receive my final bill. Person behind the counter was too busy to complete the transaction. More interested in selling gas and snacks asking me to step aside rather then dealing with the rental contract. Paul Quinn

Truck sounded like it would break down. I had to wait 30 mins to get it bc the uhaul wasn't checked back in from the previous person who used it. When I returned the guy was rude and didn't even check me out so I had got a call from uhaul the next day asking if I planned to return the truck which I returned already the same day I got it.

I wanted to drop my rental at the MLK street location in Wilmington, but they never picked up. I think it's terrible that when I booked online, I was under the impression that I would receive one price, and when I went to pick up, it was a completely different price + locations. Very disappointed.

The pick up location was changed without my approval. The location was NOT in a good area that I would be in at night. I made a reservation a month prior because of how close I could pick up and drop off, instead I had to go several miles out of my way. I was disappointed that I never received any correspondence or calls about the change, which I would of declined.

This was the best experience I have had with any moving truck company. The location was convenient & truck was new condition. When the mobile check-in service did not work properly, the man inside the shop who helped me was pleasant and quick to get into the truck. Excellent location for U-Haul services!

Everything had to be done on the app and there was nobody there. I'm glad I had my phone to finish the return process and it was pretty easy. It just felt a bit weird that there was nobody there at all. No real complaints but just odd.

Truck wasnt there at our scheduled pick up time. When returning the employee was rude. After receiving final receipt there was a $5 cleaning fee that was never mentioned nor was the truck in need of cleaning. Not happy with the entire experience.

The cargo van I have used a couple times has a maintenance minder to 'change oil soon'. Hopefully they are keeping an eye on it. Also - seems that the app takes a little time to load on cashier's cell phone - I have to wait while she waited on 4 other customers.

It didn't appear to be the fault of the dealer, but I received a confirmation of my reservation for a van at this location three days before my pickup, and the dealer wasn't able to locate my reservation when I arrived to pick it up. Because of the confusion, I rated the location as below average. The dealer was apologetic, and rented me the next larger size vehicle for the same rate. I'm pleased with the dealer, but very dissatisfied with U-Haul for the lack of communication with the dealer for my reservation.

I was on hold for 30 Minutes trying to arrange a one-way drop off in NYC. I was transferred to a department finally that I was told had no hold time to make an arrangement for drop off yet I was put back on hold and he never came back to me it was awful

Tried the 24/7 pickup feature but I could not connect to network. Disappointing. Attendant was very knowledgeable and helped me out in no time. One more feedback: why do I have to sign in every time I start my app? It's frustrating...also if I logged in the app why do I have to enter all my information again when making a reservation? Improvement could be made there.

When I returned the truck the lady refused to close out the rental right then and almost two weeks later they are trying to charge me a $50 cleaning fee the truck was returned cleaner than we received it. This is poor business practice and the BBB will be contacted

self serve gas station creates constant interruptions took almost 45 minutes to get keys yet reserved on line was always 1-way rental... rec'd 1-way key yet processed as return same location i did not sign any paperwork but received agreement that appeared signed by others above my printed name will never rent from this dealer again roberto rosa at vineland nj u-haul was outstanding & extremely helpful to try to resolve

After about 45 minutes there trying to sort the issue of the gas tank being given to me at half (I took my own picture when I first got the truck) but having paper work stating it was full, the store employee made a call and said "it was ok." This location dropoff was not inviting, it took a long time to finally speak to someone because there was only one person running the gas station, store, and the uhaul rentals, and there was no clearly marked signs indicating where to go to finalize the dropoff and where to park the truck.

I was so annoyed I booked for a van and I ended up with a 26 haul car of which it was so big and I only wanted to pick something from a certain point to my home and I'm being told once you've paid you cannot choose another car of which I found so disturbing.

The gas tank for the truck was not Full when I picked it up. I was charged for 4 gallons of gas when I drove the vehicle only 12 miles. It even says 12 miles on my receipt. I called the location and left a message asking for a call. I never heard back.

I ordered 12 pads and when I got there they didn't have any. Only scraps lying around. The employee found me 5 in different locations and said that he would see to it that I only would get charged $4. Well that never happened and I was still charged. He also was about to send me away with the wrong dolly (different than what I ordered) which would have also ripped me off.

I pickup van for 4 hours and bring back in 2 hours and drive 41 miles. When I received bill it was additional charge for $10 fir cleaning. I drive 41miles in dry weather and bring 1 box what they cleaning inside or outside. And when I full up gasoline it was $14,78 for 41 miles at the same station where it located. So I paid for people before and may be after..But most important why they didn't give bill go me and sent later to email.I used U-Haul many times before but. Never again

Communication was not up to par. They left me confused about my bill. I reached out the night I dropped it off and the service attendant couldn't explain my bill to me because there was none. The next day when I was expecting a call or a text or email or anything. I had to end up calling the number that was used to call me.

The mobile app wasn't working on my phone. After about 2 hours on the phone with a very helpful customer representative, finding out that there's actually no machine to enter a code into and a counter person who knew nothing, someone, owner I think, came in and got the keys out of the locked office. I ended up losing the people that had been waiting to help me unload the truck and had to wait until the next morning and rush to find people to come and help me to get everything done. It was so frustrating.

Overall ok but the back of the uhaul smelled like a horse trailer. Don't know who rented before me but they must of been hauling hay or some kind of animal.
