Website for the 24/7 use is not very user friendly. the Uhaul rep that I dealt with at Bp was more than helpful !!!

Woman behind counter did not know what to do with return. Told me to leave it and some one would get to it.

Develop a truck tracking system like GM Onstar to know where trucks are. Notify next customer ASAP when truck is late and appointment is rescheduled. Get more swing equipment so you can cover late returns.
Send step-by-step pickup instructions in an email before telling people to just show up and sign onto the website

Actually nothing. The representative, Karen was very good and quite helpful. She took the time to show me the truck and everything about the back door and ramp. Also, the experience was easy. Thank you.
It's nice to be able to drop off the vehicle at a gas station. No need to remember to stop at a gas station.

The 24 hour rental check out plan was a disaster. Customer service takes over a half hour to answer the phone. The rep couldn't help me so transferred me to wait on hold again for 29 plus minutes. They don't give clear instructions on the process
Fix the usability of your web site! I should be able to choose a location, and not have it "hijacked" by another UHaul agent.
The location was OK, but the online process for reserving and checking into the vehicle was a nightmare. My first reservation was at another location - when I went to double check it on the day, it had disappeared and was not available. Second reservation at different location, could not check in - said my card was declined but my cc company said the charge was not submitted. An hour later, I was in the truck. Of course the rental time was not increased to compensate. Glad I do not need to do this again!!!!
Extremely helpful staff on hand to assist with the check-in and troubleshooting a few questions. The location was convenient and the truck was very well maintained and comfortable. My check-in could not have gone smoother.
We called from PA as we were going down to clean out the house of a passing relative. The women was very helpful in helping us to determine needs & explaining options.

This location could have a few more supplies . They had no dolly carts , very few blankets and no boxes . But the truck I used was in great condition and the staff at this location was very helpful and friendly.
I used the check in through the mobile device for the first time. The cell reception was not that great at this location (AT&T) and it made the process a little more cumbersome than I hoped. I would likely not choose to do the mobile check in again at this location, because I felt like it ended up taking me longer than an in-person check in would have.
Nice staff, clean truck, easy return. I can't think of anything you could do to improve this for the next customer.
Poor service
Did not receive the correct number of moving blankets ordered , but did receive a dolly and cart I did not order.
Staff were very friendly, process was simple and equipment met my needs.
The lady that I checked in with at this BP location is a very nice person.

It was a bit confusing but a great experience overall.
I used Uhaul last month as well and paid less for a 26 foot truck then than I did for my 15 foot truck this time. Same locations and same traveling as last time. Why have your prices doubled in one month? That's unreasonable and unnecessary.

Make sure the trash and food are cleaned out of vehicle prior to pickup. (It was between the parking brake and driver's seat - hard to see.) However, that being said, the van drove beautifully and I can't say enough nice things about the rep at the location. A lovely lady. I would definitely recommend U-Haul and this location to anyone looking for a good rental van at a decent price.
Only negative was I did not receive the e-mail telling me I had to go to different location for pick-up. I thought the truck should have been at the location that I called to reserve the truck. But it was further down the road at a further away location.
U haul rep called the day before and said they did not have the size truck we wanted but would give the next step up for the same price. In retrospect it was exactly what we needed. Loved how you could do all the preregistering on line. Saved a lot of time the day of the move. Truck was in pristine condition

Clean the windshield inside and out.
Have both truck and tow dolly at the same location to be picked up and not have them one hour away from each location to be picked up during rush hour and informing me late afternoon on a Sunday for a Monday morning pickup that I had to travel one hour to get a tow dolly . If I had known this sooner I would have made other arrangements because this messed up my travel plan. I feel that after paying over eight hundred dollars I should get a considerable discount and at the pickup locations the contract shows I had 5 days but where I pick up failed to let me know that I will pay for the equipment for each day after 3 days. I wish I could have picked up at a uhaul location because they seem to be more professional
No one seemed to know what they were supposed to do.
My only suggestion would be for the future. Plan to provide the customer with a written document noting the gas level, mileage and vehicle condition at the time the vehicle is returned. I always want to believe the best about people but things can happen. Call it a “ peace of mind†statement for the customer.
The online application information did NOT transfer over. That cost me a forty minute delay and I had movers waiting at my home for me. I didn't appreciate that at all.
This drop off location was a gas station that charged 15 cents more than other close by gas stations.
U-Haul seems to always have me pick up at an alternative location.
Paid for blankets but she forgot to give them to me. It was located in a gas station and office was filthy.

I dealt with Karen at the BP site. She was very helpful, friendly and courteous. Website was not so good. This location was not listed. After receiving an email to do express check in, I completed it all the way until the end where I had to acknowledge reading the terms but they would not open. Didn't matter, Karen had me in and out in no time.
