This location was the only option offered to me when I signed up for the truck. At one point customer service said they would call with another option but never did. This Carryout was 14 miles from my destination! and in the heart of a ghetto neighborhood. My wife and I were scared for our lives as it was Saturday night right next door to a beer drive through with a constant parade of locals making comments as they passed with us waiting for the attendant. I will never rent another U-Haul if you cannot do better than this. There must be a better location in the entire city of Columbus OH than this.

My reservation took forever. The truck had a trailer attached to it, which I didn’t order. The guy @ the shop had no idea how to detach it, so I had to do it. I couldn’t pull straight out, so I had to push the trailer back, with no help. I cut myself on the trailer. Had the guy not started to try to remove the trailer, I would have pulled out with the trailer attached, but I had no clue I was blocked in the front of the truck.

This place is a filthy convenience store in a bad part of the city. The person working provided no help in lifting the really heavy trailer off my car. Barely spoke any English so we couldn’t communicate - you should not be sending people there

First of all making people go to areas that aren't well signed that it is a U-Haul pick up place wasn't good. The people inside the shop tired there hardest to get this rental to come up on there computer. After about an half an hour had to call customer service. I had to talk to the customer service person as they couldn't understand the guy that was trying to work things out. Then when I talked with the customer service tech he had issues finding my reservation then my credit card information. Which doesn't make since as you can't reserve a truck without the information... It was an hour later before we got in the truck. It was a very odd place to have a pick up place. We are older and didn't find it easy to find. The second clerk at the store was trying hard to figure things out but it wasn't easy on any one. No receipt given I did sign a contract but nothing given to me for a receipt.
