Manager was great and explained the rental terms and conditions. Offered the additional insurance and reviewed everything promptly and professionally. We had a Sunday return and everything went perfectly. Only downside to this location is the shape of the parking lot and it's tough to get the larger trucks out of the back lot and onto the highway. But staff was fantastic and the equipment was well maintained.Dennis L.

Great service thanks to Luigi. The van had only about 2300 miles on it and was clean. Previously had an awful experience renting a 12' truck from Budget.mike C.
The truck I was supposed to get had a non working overhead door. When I asked the attendant if he had another truck he said no. He called someone named Dawn to figure out how to refund me and she told him to give me the other truck. My pick up took about 45 minutes instead of the 15 I had anticipated.DENISE B.
When we arrived, the guy was on phone in another room, quite boisterous and we're waited for awhile for him to finish his phone conversation. He did indicate that someone at uhaul screwed up and lied to us as we had to drive from Trenton to Raritan- wasted half the day. Problem was the truck was returned with empty gas tank and we had to immediately go find a gas station. We were told how the people returning the truck we fined heavily but there was no remuneration for us just another waste of our time to get the truck to the house to start loading.Thomas V.

Truck stalled out 4:times on an interstate trip of 625 miles. I hit a bump in the road and all the gauges dropped to 0. Truck said shift to park and stalked out. Tremendous safety issue. . I would like a credit back on my cardtom W.

When I picked up my Uhaul, the Uhaul fuel gauge was just below 1/2 tank, as indicated on the form I was given before leaving the shop. Prior to returning my Uhaul I went to the nearby Shell and fueled back to 1/2 tank. I returned to the Uhaul and waited at the front for 5 minutes. I called and couldn't reach anyone. Finally someone (perhaps a customer) came into the office, waited one minute and opened the door to the back where a younger gentleman was fixing a vehicle. I told him I needed to return my Uhaul. He told me to leave my keys at the desk and that was it. I then received an invoice stating that I owed $11,7 because my Uhaul was only filled up 3/4 full, which was completely false. In the busyness of moving and unpacking, I didn't have time to call and argue. It is not about the $11.70. It is about the principle of having been falsely charged. I venture to guess that I am not the first person this business has done this to.Jaclyn S.

I was given a 15ft truck and a twin dolly. I reserved a 20ft truck and truck trailer. Consequently, have had to rent storage...$$$ and will need to travel back to NJ from FL to pickup the reaming furniture. TERRIBLE SERVICE.Thomas T.

The 15' truck was not very cleaned. But the worse was that it was old, very high mileage (>170k miles), and some things not working very well. Nevertheless I don't think that is responsibility of the location. The drivers door doesn't close Well. I have only driven 80 miles and it was ok. If I were to drive a long distance, I would never take this truck. It is not even appropriate to pay for the same as one would pay for a low mileage truck. NOT responsibility of the pick up location. As for the cargo purpose, everything was working well. The other thing was that I had ordered pads online to protect the furniture and they didn't have available.Miguel L.

Not only did I feel unsafe during the era of pandemic and a rise in COVID-19 cases entering a confined office space that reeked of smoke and the owner not wearing a mask. He had no issues letting others into the office without a mask while I was inside. Moreover, the truck's cargo roof leaked from the rain while I had boxes and furniture stored in it overnight. The furniture was wet and stained at the bottom. The boxes loaded into the "Mom's Attic" space were soaking wet at the bottom and several had opened up from the bottom when we picked them up. The cardboard had no strength in it, it resembled a wet rag. This is all to add to the fact that the location did not have furniture pads available that I had ordered. What a disappointment!Jack A.

Did not have all of my equipment in the truck. There was no one available to speak to. Did not make pick up or drop off easy. They didn't rent me the equipment but then marked that is was returned with the truck when it was never there to begin with. I was charged for it and it wasn't removed.Amanda Y.

I don't think I'd use U-Hall again. The cost of the rental was vert high. I was charged $23 dollars for 1/8 a tank of gas. The truck had 1/2 a tank when I pick it up. It was one line under 1/2 a tank when I dropped it off. I put $35 dollars of gas init before I drove it. Since there is a rental fee and a per $1,99 a mile fee, a $23 dollar gas charge is excessive.Thomas K.
While the location was fine it was incredibly misleading my daughter and I both called Uhaul to confirm there would be someone at the pick up/drop off location to confirm everything with. When we arrived to pick up the uhaul there was no one there and there was no one there when we dropped off the uhaul. The drop off process was equally confusing because the image showed a picture of the door to drop the key but the instructions didn't match.Martin P.

17' truck I reserved was not available. Had to request multiple times to take a smaller sized truck. Finally received a smaller truck, but had to pay more money because more trips were necessary for my personal move. Would like a discount for the miles I drove. I would not have driven so many miles and made so many trips if the truck was the correct size that I reserved.Kristen J.

This place was dirty and featured indoor smoking. The trailer was parked in a location that was inaccessible with the 26' truck, requiring us to move the trailer out onto the highway for hookup. I don't think this was the shop's fault, I think Uhaul corporate should've informed them that I was coming with a uhaul truck, being as they split the contract between two places, neither of which were my choice for pickup.Brian R.

I had to pick up my 17 foot truck rental at 9:30am. We did not leave out of the Uhaul location until 10:25am, due to the U haul site being down. I am a business man, that likes to conduct good business. The dealer was not interested in checking my truck out due to Covid 19 at first, which is understandable. But one has to have a system in place to make sure customers can get dispatched quicker. I was late to my 10:00am appointment which was only 6 minutes away. The dealer are not bad people, just inconsistent in the area of Uhaul. Also once I got the pictures of the truck condition I saw one false picture of the roof caved in on the corner, but in fact that truck was in perfect condition. When I asked the dealer what should I do in this cause he stated, â€œI do not really care what you doâ€. If I was not a level headed and patient individual this situation could have ended up a different way, especially in this climate of America. This U haul dealer is never getting my dollar ever in life. But I do wish them the best to treat the next customer with respect and compassion.Kadeem M.
I reserved an appliance dolly with my van and it wasn't in my van when I went to check-In with the mobile pick up. I had to drive to another location to find another dolly, which was like 20 out of my way. In addition to that, uhauul want to charge me for those mileage! That is not fair, especially when you should've put the request in the van under I prepaid.Itohan I.
Very cool new "no contact" system but some things need to be improved, they couldn't read my license so they needed to contact a friend or family member to verify the knew me... i did not know about this and nobody was available at the time... we should know this could be required to make arrangements. Also. I got the lock box code to take the truck but it turns out i needed the samr code to drop it off and i had not saved the code.. maybe saying "you will need this code at drop off, please save it" ?Juan O.
